It is good opportunity for investors to accumulate and hold. To not think it as good opportunity means you do not think the market will recover. But it will, and when it recovers the coins will cost 10x more then now. I cannot say about if coins will exist 5 years in the future but they will be up in 1 or 2 years.

Altcoins follow Bitcoin's ups and downs anyway, most of the time. If you can manipulate Bitcoin you have the market by the balls I think. This needs to change. Not one crypto should dominate in the market for a healthier situation in altcoins.

I am baffled as to how this happens but a merit slowdown or cool down would not be a bad idea. Not much would change for users who do not have a lot of merits and if there is a problem among the users who have a lot of merits then why not?

Half on Bitcoin, and split the rest in various coins. Ethereum for sure, maybe Ripple and smaller coins. I would like to find some not popular new coin that would show promise.

I think this would happen even without the manipulation of the BCH forks. Bitcoin has remained too long in the same position and this market is not a table one, it is a volatile one. We should remember this when we do our trades.

Simply put, in all markets what goes up will go down. If it is not a dead market this will continue an Bitcoin will be up again with te alts maybe next year.

I think this is the time to find out good projects and coins and tokens in the top 200 of CMC to invest. Then check each project and each price to decide how big that opportunity is. I will not just remain in the first top 10, I think I may find a good gems that will grow in the future.

I will say that it is depending on when you invest. People who bought BCH a few weeks ago and cashed in before the fork got good money from the spike. I think ETH will be better investement in the future for holders. It is a great idea and not 90% copy of another coin, which is what BCH has done. Now we would have to ask which BCH fork is the real BCH, though.

I don't think Bitcoin Talk can sue even if they have merit system, you must first make a patent I believe. And even then I think if they do not call it merits and they name it rewards then they are not supposed to be identical. What I see now in that forum, it is just a similar forum structure, nothing wrong with that. If it is successful here someone else will use it elsewhere.

It makes no sense to me to buy the merit. When guys like me can get the merit naturally from making a post and I do not know the English language well. There must be some small effort from our side. Do not buy merits, you might lose your accounts, guys.

Sorry, you buy at 39, sell at 49, this is some good profit! Yes you did not sell at 100 to double your investment but this is fine too. It is better at least then no profit or selling at lower price and taking loss. But one must study the market to become good trader.

I think that looking at the past is very useful to see that this has happened before. It can calm down people, at least a certain amount. Bitcoin is still dominant. I do not need proof that this is not the end for Bitcoin but I am glad it existes.

I did not have much Bitcoin. I was waiting tbh for something like this so I bought some now and sold for profit. Some times one person's bad luck is good fortune for another.
