The "stake" is the coins that recently participated in a PoS block generation. After 50 blocks they are returned to the normal state and in 5 days will get old enough to participate in the PoS generation again. You will never see all your coins in a stake unless you merge all of them in a single input by merging them together by sending to yourself the whole amount. There is no reason in doing this IMO, as any coin has fixed maximum number of 'cycles' per year. You can't use your coins while they are in stake, but the coin age for these coins is reset at the moment of PoS block generation, so by merging them manually you reset the coin age to zero again, thus you extend the period of being not eligible for the transferred this way coins.

So min coinage is 5 days??

Yes, the input must be at least 5 days old to be eligible.

I am new to the POS thing, so please excuse my noobness ...

I have around 300k in my wallet which has been open for over 24 hours - should I see a POS payment by now ?

Donations welcome! : 95ExnEDdtAQ5hpDDSJbPd3UqsMyqFAtpUN

It can take a little while. Keep an eye on the total. The stakes don't show in the transaction history. It took me a few days before I started seeing mine come through. You'll also get small amounts of grain come through as transactions.

The small amounts you´ll receive are the stake transactions.... Wink so they show up in your transaction history... Wink

So what are the larger amounts I see in my stake? I had a stake around 1400 grain not long ago, but the stake transactions are just a couple of grain.

the 1400 grain shown in stake where the coins you were receiving the stake for...

GRA is on coinmarketcap?

If not - must be!
You know how we can push GRA to coinmarketcap??

Here:
http://coinmarketcap.com

It gets updated every 5 minutes.  Coins with stale datapoints (more than 6 hours old) will be shown at the bottom with question marks, and will be de-listed after 7 days.  Feedback/suggestions welcome.

If you would like to request to add a coin, please fill out the request form.

Done... Smiley

Just had a little chat with the forkpool op... he is not intressted in doing anything about the extra reward...
so the only way will be to use the round data the pool offers to calculate everyones share... then we would need an address to every user...  Huh

I think we should move our miners... Wink

thats the last thing the op said:

116  Local / Announcements (Deutsch) / Re: [ANN] Die "Deutsche eMark" - unser deutscher Altcoin - SHA256,POS&POW on: January 14, 2014, 04:49:55 PM

+1
117  Local / Announcements (Deutsch) / Re: [ANN] Die "Deutsche eMark" - unser deutscher Altcoin - offline? Mining? on: January 13, 2014, 10:58:14 PM

118  Local / Announcements (Deutsch) / Re: [ANN] Die "Deutsche eMark" - unser deutscher Altcoin - SHA256,POS&POW on: January 13, 2014, 04:41:25 PM

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRA] Grain - New PoW/PoS coin | Fast, secure | Version 1.3 Released! on: January 13, 2014, 03:50:45 PM
sorry but could someone tell me how POS is generated... i understand POW is mined with CGMINER.... but what on earth does mine POS mean? As far as i knew.. Pos comes about every 2 weeks... as long as u dont move your coins... beyond that its not really mining is it..

PoS blocks are generated by a thread from the wallet. to mint pos blocks the coinage (how long your coins stayed in the wallet) is used. if you find a block, then coinage is consumed (set to zero by sending the coins to yourself) and the coins go back to your balance with a 5% interest on top. The Algorithm used is much easier then the one for generating PoW blocks, so it can be done by your cpu, saving a lot of energy.

So to generate POS you need an open wallet, encrypted for pos minting, and coins in the wallet which have enough coinage to solve the Algorithm quick enough.

I think I've misunderstood how this works. How do I encrypt for pos minting? What do I need to do with my coins in my wallet to be able to receive to PoS coins? The first post doesn't explain this.

Just keep them in your wallet and keep it online...
