101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum proof of stake on: January 02, 2019, 12:18:31 PM
This could be the downfall of ethereum as POS will simply make the whales richer. What matters the most is if ethereum is going to sort out it's scaling issue and actually be able to cope with high numbers of transactions
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally ETH is back at no. 2 spot on: January 02, 2019, 12:05:21 PM
It is good to see that centralised crap removed from the number 2 spot, but i wouldn't celebrate just yet. Ripple hasn't pumped yet and it tends to move very sudden and very fast. This will be a close race for the next few months
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS? - The better Ethereum? on: December 31, 2018, 11:31:36 AM
Ethereum is only the best at the present time because it has proven itself as being capable of hosting ICOs. EOS is still under development but when released it will be better than ethereum, so best to purchase both coins and hodl
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your New Year wish on: December 31, 2018, 11:29:13 AM
This is what we are all hoping for, a new all time high for all coins we are holding Grin However, i'm hoping it will not happen just yet. I'm still accumulating at this low bear market phase so hopefully the pump will start after a few months time
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New year's eve, hoping for a change on: December 31, 2018, 11:26:06 AM
The market has been trading sideways for a while now, i don't think anything will change in the next few days. The feared death spiral failed to materialise which we should be thankful for. $4,000 is the price that we should be holding for the next few weeks
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be your coins for 2019? on: December 31, 2018, 11:21:45 AM
I would pick successful ICOs that have so far failed to deliver. Tezos and EOS were huge record breaking ICOs but their products have not materialised yet. In 2019, when they start to really move forward, their prices will pump
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️[ANN][Pre-ICO]⚡️PETLIFE⚡️Creating professional community in veterinary⚡️ on: December 31, 2018, 11:18:21 AM
This is a great ICO as there aren't many in the category of veterinary. Also, this is a legit ICO with a public team which is quite rare these days. These videos on youtube should be promoted far and wide: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC1PRKNXUtbHJRoklRRM9NA

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some good recent Airdrop? on: December 29, 2018, 02:28:53 PM
I wouldn't describe the stellar airdrop as a good one, the KYC video requirement was ridiculous. For free coins go and look at DeepOnion and do the VoteCentral task to get free airdrops of deeponion coins:

110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What choices will you take now ? on: December 29, 2018, 02:23:55 PM
No such thing as junk coins, the term you are looking for is shitcoins Grin For those you might as well just hang on to them, you never know what might happen in the future. Someone else might pick up the project
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHERUM HARD FORK ARE A UPDATE on: December 29, 2018, 02:21:43 PM
You will not get any new coins, it is just an update of the ethereum platform. It is different from the bitcoin / BCH fork where you get extra coins. With ethereum you will get nothing, just what you already have
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]NEED A BITCOIN TALK MEMBER TO CREATE A THREAD WITH IMAGES on: December 29, 2018, 02:19:10 PM
You're in the wrong section dude, if you post a request in the 'services' thread or the 'bounty' thread then i'm sure you can find an experienced ANN creator, or bounty manager if needed
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ChessCoin Tournaments on: December 28, 2018, 10:15:45 PM
This sounds brilliant by the way. A great way to embrace blockchain technology with chesscoin rewards. I am sure that there will be other similar tournaments and coins for other games and not just poker.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the Qtum? on: December 25, 2018, 10:52:01 PM
QTUM is a great purchase now because it has fallen more than any other decent coin from it's all time high. When the bull run returns it could potentially go 100x from what it is now so great investment
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: December 25, 2018, 10:46:50 PM
There are a few projects trying the be the ultimate crypto currency. The one that comes to mind is Stellar which does more than Ripple, ethereum, and of course bitcoin. Partnership with IBM also gives it credibility
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic community, we ask your opinion on a new wallet on: December 25, 2018, 10:38:33 PM
It's good to see some innovation with ethereum classic, it might even be a competitor with ethereum itself. It has the same roots, but the community has not rallied behind it yet. Needs some further partnerships and big ICOs
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Africans Are Not Embracing Blockchain - Crypto ! on: December 25, 2018, 10:34:15 PM
In Africa the problem is with the people. Just look at all the minerals and resources that they have. Gold, Diamonds, Oil, they should be a wealthy continent but there is too much greed and corruption. Crypto can end corruption, so they won't embrace it
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It might not be easy, you just have to let go on: December 25, 2018, 10:30:20 PM
People lot faith because the price tanked for a few weeks. That is nothing, if you followed recent events then you will see just how quickly the price can rise. $1000 in just 1 week is impressive right?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: December 25, 2018, 10:28:18 PM
Soon ethereum will not even be comparable to bitcoin, it has fallen from the number 2 spot and it might even be overtaken by other coins like Stellar or EOS. It should focus on doing more than just hosting ICOs
