107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Different ways to earn MERIT? on: March 20, 2018, 03:26:19 PM
If a bitcointalk member is doing a p quality post, aside from the possibility of earning merits from the viewers or from the readers, is there any chance, rules or thread that we can submit our post like nomination for a possible merit? Like the admins or managers can review the post if we are  qualified to earn merits from them?
Thank in advance for your answers..
Do write some serious topics and useful knowledge about Btc or trading etc, which people want to know . If your post is good then you really don't have to chase merit , it will come you simply.

109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why do we need politicians? on: March 18, 2018, 12:11:51 AM
so i've been thinking about this a lot recently, and i would like to know if anyone can come up with a reason why politicians are still necessary for good government. i've come to realize that their whole relevance comes from a time itself irrelevant to the modern world. in developed countries, the vast majority of people plugged into cell phones and internet, why do we have to be under a system thats from a time when most people were not even literate? most modern governments of wealthy developed countries were formed prior to the development of modern technology, and it had become the norm in the establishment of these countries to develop a system of political representation for citizens in the form of politicians as democratic systems emerged.

and so, functionally, politicians are meant to represent us in government, correct?

internet and cell phones let basically all people communicate instantaneously all the time, and the average amount of education a person receives today is probably not so different than the average politician received a century ago.. and even right here right now i am representing my own ideas thanks to this technology and education..
like the factory worker whose function, supplanted by technology, is quickly being made obselete by robots, so are politicians can we not use things like ssl and https to build something to replace make politicians obsolete? i dont think many will argue that they perform well in their function, and could not use an upgrade. we can replace government buildings in capitals with a secure domain for everyone to have a hand in governing, or at least the opportunity if they care enough to want it. the USA is considered a democratic republic because we have a system where a few vote for the rest, and yet its government loves to place the democratic ideal above all else. what would more democratic than having more people voting more?

we all already have a digital representaton of ourselves that exists simply in our bitcointalk forum user accounts. why not extend the arena to government as well?

what is the need for politicians?
in the USA, career politicians spend their entire lives advancing through ranks in government (and probably have better job security than you do). their only job is to keep their corporate sponsors happy so they that can continue to look good when they need to be re-elected. they might as well dress like nascar drivers with the jumpsuits with all the logos and brands on them... and its not like people are not already aware of this even. the existing political ecosystem in which political correctness is the rubric by which politicians are elected and fired, but it has very little to do with their actual function as our government.
government for and by the self-same people would take care of this need, i think.

this idea just continues to seem increasing obvious to me, but it just seems we are constantly evolving to something increasing further from this and it all just seems so counterproductive. can progress happen, or are we just entrenched into the current state of bullshit?
politicians have been ruining too many things i care about lately.. its all hidden agendas and doublespeak. its becoming increasingly necessary to be oddly reminded that its not actually their job to progressively make things worse
i cant remember the last time my government (in the USA we all hail an orange mammal whose specialty is split between being an agressive twit on twatter and an emotionally-stunted 12 year old) acted with integrity, possibly because it was before i was born.

help Sad
To apply our insulting powers on them 😁
110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why are people suffering from jealousy ? on: March 16, 2018, 10:51:40 AM
In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.
The main cause for feelings of jealousy are your doubts about your abilities or skills. If you were one hundred percent sure of yourself you would have never suffered from any jealousy feelings
111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Racism on: March 15, 2018, 04:03:52 PM
Hi! Today, I want to talk about a topic that I've experienced multiple times in my life, in this country. And that's racism! How do you view racism? Is it still alive in this country, in your opinion? Have you ever experienced racism in your life? How did you handle your racist experience?
In 1987, a sensational discovery was made by a Sydney University team, led by Australia’s most celebrated pre-historian, Professor D J Mulvaney. They reported that the Australian population in 1788 was 750,000, or three times the previous estimate. They concluded that more than 600,000 people had died as result of white settlement
112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: March 12, 2018, 10:13:55 AM
not at all. Happiness does not depend on money. It is more like a psychological thing which is more connected to the human minds. Don't you think so?
Money can't buy happiness but it's better to cry in a Lamborghini than a bicycle Wink
113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: March 11, 2018, 10:03:04 AM
Or do you think media is independent ?
No, never ! Media is an independent organisation which is being controlled by certain powers who just show that side of news which they want to show the public, & rest of the story is hidden & it's not for the General public.
114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Business with and without education ? on: March 10, 2018, 06:50:47 PM
I have observed that many business persons in my country are not educated but they are doing well. It does not mean that educated persons are not doing well.
Do you think a business of educated person is more successful  as compared to un-educated one??

How we can guess that this business is under the control of educated person or un educated person? Any idea

Business is not realted with education its a matter of fate ! I have seen many illiterate persons who own mega businesses & educated people work under them but yeah education can give you a edge overall..
If you are educated you can do a better business , you can take more better decisions and you don't have to rely upon your educated employees.
115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: March 10, 2018, 09:38:43 AM
Do you think that men and woman are treated equally in society?
if not , what are the ways you suggest to promote equality among society ?
Gender equality is the goal, while gender neutrality and gender equity are practices and ways of thinking that help in achieving the goal. Gender parity, which is used to measure gender balance in a given situation, can aid in achieving gender equality but is not the goal in and of itself.
116  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women empowerment? on: March 09, 2018, 10:19:11 PM
The extremists thinks that increasing women empowerment will the destruction of society? Because where you go in the world they thinks everyone talks about the women empowerment and giving more power to women.    What do you think about it?

And also give your opinions on double standards??
Empowerment of women is a necessity for the very development of a society, since it enhances both the quality and the quantity of human resources available for development
117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to stop smoking? on: March 09, 2018, 01:18:31 PM
First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?

Exercise.
Get out of the house for a walk.
Chew gum or hard candy.
Keep your hands busy with a pen or toothpick, or play a game in the QuitGuide app.
Drink lots of water.
Relax with deep breathing.
Go to a movie.
Spend time with non-smoking friends and family.
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pollution on: March 09, 2018, 08:03:39 AM
pollution mostly occur because fumes and a fire.
Whether you agree with vehicles made fuel oil in a change with tekhnologi electricity to reduce the pollution?
The principal cause behind this pollution is ‘exploitation of nature’. The environmental laws across the globe make an attempt to control pollution. But people are accustomed to break the law.

120  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start trading? on: March 06, 2018, 07:00:54 PM
Trading is so simple. Its just like buying and selling. That is the golden rule in trading 'Buy low Sell High'.
You can try it first on a platform that offers a free demo account. Can't pin point to you what are those platform.
Before you start you have first to do your research on how to make analysis in every trade you do its the most difficult one.
Assess your investment goals. The type of trading activity you will do depends largely on why you want to invest in the first place.
Consider your timeline.
Consider your risk tolerance. ...
Determine the type(s) of investments you will make.
Make a plan.
