101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: November 23, 2014, 07:21:18 AM
wow, 25mh can mine 8-25 coins per day, very hard to mine viacoin Shocked

I have 55 MHs. with a real miner here at my home, and I've got on average 60 to 70 Via per day the last week, sometimes even more.
So these numbers on Genesis mining are way too low.

The new wallet is not working for me on Windows 8 - it gets as far as saying something like 'loading addresses' and then just disappears.

The same here on Windows 7. It places an icon on the taskbar which doesn't do anything , and the main window doesn't show up at all. Nice crappy software this is.

My wallet database keeps getting corrupt because I restart the wallet

anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I have the same.
I complains that the database is corrupted, when I try to re-sync the wallet crashes.
After a restart it re-syncs, when I close the wallet en restart the same issue occurs.
There seems to be some kind of bug, at least in the Windows wallet this is.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] M.Jcoin (M.J) |First coin of tribute | POW/POS | Giveaway on: August 05, 2014, 01:15:37 PM
so is this coin dead or what?  Seems like no activity from the dev at all.
It is as dead as it can be. The dev really let us down on this one.
You're lucky when you get something like 4 sat. for it.

Cryptoday only problems at frontend or really no block found Huh

With the hash-rate they've had they must have found at least 10 to 20 blocks, maybe even more.
I assume these guys are still sleeping, hopefully they can fix the problem and send us the coins we earned.

May be they are at "bad luck" series or something  Undecided

Very unlikely. Two hours ago I switched my miners to your pool, and now everything seems to work like it should.

It seems Cryptoday f'cked up, not a single block found after 5 hours.

Lets hope this is just a problem in their front-end and that the coins are still there, otherwise it was all a very big waste of time. Angry

Cryptoday?
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BMY] Bitmoney | No Premine | POW | Coin-Swap IPO | on: July 20, 2014, 05:19:34 PM
For this coin to be worth mining with the current hash-rate it's value should be at least $4 per coin.
I already switched my miners to something more profitable.

There is nothing wrong with this coin, so let's hope an exchange can be found.
On the other hand, the silence of the dev. is deafening, maybe the guy went on holiday.
It s'cks because I have 715k MJ to sell.

Very quiet here lately. Roll Eyes

I think a fee of 1 BTC is more then reasonable. There is not so much work involved in adding an extra coin to an exchange.
It will only give some additional load on their servers.

the email address warranty@minereu.com is not the source of the problem. we are sorry about this attack, and we have seen some people complaining about it.

we suspect it is because this virus was able to scan your browser for e-commerce page. and if it detected a woocommerce site, it will pretend to be the source and send emails to people.
we have issued a warning on our website to warn people against this kind of attack, but to be honest, we can't help you if you have opened a jar file .  this kind of virus in jar can run on windows and linux as long as there is a jre installed.  people should be really careful about it.

You are missing the point. I only started getting these emails with .jar files a few hours after I emailed warranty@minereu.com not after I clicked on the .jar file. The .jar emails came AFTER I emailed you. The .jar files are even present on your Google support board. And what happened to a response about the faulty G-blades that I emailed you about? I have had absolutely no response from you! I am having to have this correspondence with you on a public forum because you haven't answered my emails and your support forum is riddled with viruses and an attempt to email you just resulted in me being the target of a phishing scam. I have orders for more G-blades, but what am I supposed to do if I can't get a response when I'm having problems?

A lot of xhash users are also compromised, maybe this could be the source of the problem.

Today I replaced the crappy Chinese PSU's in my A2Mini's with PSU's from Meanwell.
The consumed power went down from 720W to 600W. Less current and less heat, so I'm very happy with this.

Since a couple of days I get these scam mails as well. When I saw that there were .jar files attached I immediately knew somebody is trying to scam me. Each morning I get these 2 mails now, this is very annoying.

My English is bad, but when you look at the language they use in these emails it must be some kind of retard sending these.

Now I realize that it is very bad practice to use your regular email address for anything related to crypto coins.
I'm pretty sure that some pools and exchanges are selling our email addresses to make money on it.

Edit: I read on the GAW forum that the .jar files are trying to steal the coins from your wallets. Make sure your wallets are encrypted and backed up!

Just got a message that the Chinese manufacturers are now selling the A2BOX for $7000,-.
120  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MinerEU.com A2BOX 10200 USD on: July 10, 2014, 04:36:58 AM

I've heard some bad things about minersworld.nl. If he can rip you off, he will.

usbminers.nl, you quoted a 60 Mh/s not a 90....

Having said that, yes MinerEU is expensive and I do know where to get it cheaper and (more) reliable. But for the love of God, if you want to argue about something, get your facts straight.

I said there are cheaper ones and it's true, what are you arguing about? That you heard something about the seller? What does it have to do with the price?

The Chinese shops they have it for less than $8k even if you have to pay the tax which is what 18%? you'll be getting it for about $9500 which is $700 cheaper then their price.

Yes you are right, and they put a low value on the commercial invoice so you will pay less VAT.
This is exactly the way MinerEU gets them.
