101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 17, 2014, 12:43:27 AM
Could someone please explain to me this strange dynamic that is taking place in the market.

What strange dynamic would that be?

To be clear, Mintpal is locked up on SC trades tighter than a gnats ass stretched over a rain barrel

Seems like people don't know what to do.
I was hoping price drops a little bit again before tomorrow.

I suspect when it starts moving it will move fast.

I have a 'generated but not accepted' staked transaction -- Wot's all that about then?

Orphan stake. Happens occasionally.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Upcoming wallet features released ★★★★ on: June 16, 2014, 10:19:40 PM
Yeah, I suspect FUD relative to wallet is an attempt to rise a price of SC. Almost every altcoin is a clone of BTC and no one care. So keep good work, guys.

BTW, did you consider cryptonote multipool? XMR and BBR doing good ATM, CPU miners can offer good support for CAIx.

No FUD, no reason why they can't co-exist.
More competent devs in the world of crypto is always a good thing.

I support SC, no secret about that, dev convinced me they are competent and came up with nice wallet features (inbuilt stuff etc.)
CAIx I am watching, dev has shown that he can spot the nice wallets and take initiative in adapting it to his/her own needs. It will be nice if CAIx dev builds on SC wallet and so improves the experience for everyone.
Hence why I will keep an eye on this.
SC wallet getting an upgrade this week so will also be interesting to see what direction they go in.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ [CAIx] ★ 100% PoS ★ Upcoming wallet features released ★★★★ on: June 16, 2014, 10:50:40 AM
i hope caix stuck at this level so i can buy more. wanna reach 20k Smiley
its only a matter of time before it will go up again. with this wallet and features PSP etc ...

Tip: if you like this wallet you should check out the wallet this was copied from.
Silkcoin is also due for an update this week so good idea to check that out to see what CAIx will look like when they get around to copying the update.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 16, 2014, 02:19:10 AM
Issue resolved in my view with FredDag's nice work.
Please accept tips.

On topic:

Full POS now all coins distributed.
POW went very smoothly.
Expected drop in price with bottom 3000-3500. (Double of pre-POW)
New wallet out this week.
Mintpal and Cryptsy added recently.
All time high trading volumes.

I didn't win the Oculus.

Copies coming out but expect to be left behind with wallet updates.

Still a pleasure to watch the camel.

It's so hard to buy any significant amount without moving the market too much.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 15, 2014, 11:41:18 PM
Silk Coin holders...

How many coins can withstand a 7 day PoW phase and GO UP in price.

How many coins can get FUD hammered and maintain their price.

Silk Coin today is worth more than before the 2nd PoW...

Judge Crypto

I'm feeling quite good. Was hoping the bottom would be 3500sats so I can buy a nice round number.
I think someone else just posted this as well but the first trades on Cryptsy has gone through.
A wallet update this week, exciting times!

R2-D2R2 is right: I am actually turning into troll food at this stage and I am sorry gorillajam but at this stage I will ignore further posts on this issue. I will not ignore PM from you though and if you want to discuss mental health issues then I will reply. There is no shame in having mental health issues, intelligent people are more likely to have a mental health diagnosis. Considering we are on a forum about cryptocurrencies which would suggest both intelligence and some paranoia and I suspect bitcointalk forums users will be disproportionately represented concerning mental health diagnoses.

Gorillajam: I have been here for longer than a week. I don't think the voices sound the same. Even if they did it would not worry me. If it really concerns you and you are trying to stop something you believe is a scam then I think you have done your part in trying to convince people and can now let it rest. There has been a lot of scams fudding about silkcoin (see twitter etc.) which makes unfounded criticism seem like the scam and you like the scammer rather than silkcoin.

Ok so let's say it is the same guy. How would explain to me ina sensitive way considering my mental health issues Smiley how that is possible. Two big scams on here and the Silkcoin uses same voice over guy.

They don't sound the same to me. Which makes your question invalid.

Mental health issues should never be used as an insult. (Just like gender or sexual orientation.)
Posts that threaten or wish other posters dead reflect badly on the poster. Please try to stay adult and rational even in the face of trolling.

To the psychiatrist offering help: I initially shared your concern but I now believe this is actually just an attempt at market manipulation and that he is probably quite rational.
(If he isn't then he will be too paranoid to accept help over the internet in any case.)

To other posters: please just use the ignore button on people who are blatantly trolling or fudding. It is there for a purpose and makes life much easier (if everyone just did that they would go away.)
In any case anyone can go and look at his links for themselves and see that it is all nonsense, it is just a complete waste of time.

I think FUD should be changed to FUT: fear uncertainty and threats
Then it would also work for f@#$ u troll.

WOT is a shit plugin that doesn't give much accurate information anyway, I don't use it. It is annoying since it gives so many false positives. If scared of scammer/phishing sites then just use common sense.

Thanks for the low price fudders, time to bulk up on silk

Probably still worth correcting it though. Obviously not you since you don't use it, but others who do use it.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal | Last POS phase started on: June 15, 2014, 08:42:05 PM
Fudding trolls trying their best to bring down SC prices.
Web of trust now giving silk-coin twitter a red/scammer rating.
If you have WOT it might be worthwhile to correct this if you have the time. (Not that it matters in the long run, but community support will stop newcomers being scared away.)

This user is currently ignored.

since the troll is sleeping let me remind you this:

hint:
1. if you have even slightest assumption someone might be a troll, please, do not quote, not even the new ones, do not get provoked.
2. use the ignore button, simple as that
3. instead of getting involved in soap opera we have a chance of getting involved in real cryptocurrency development. One shouldn't even be able to say those things in same sentence.

Dear NEM friends! Just do like this!

Cheers

Lol thanks. I have never actually ignored someone before and I completely forgot you can do it.
Sigh of relief.

I want to address NEM Organizers, Marketers, and Helpers.

I'm from the Russian branch of the forum.

We are outraged and angry behavior of some people. I want to ask several questions to the representatives of the NEM Organizers:

Who is a Come-from-Above? And gorillajam, bluemeanie1, darkota?

What relation they have to the project, whether they are participants of the project?

Why do they make such strong statements that are unsubstantiated and remain without judgment?

none of those people are working on/for/with nem.. they are trolls! just ignore them. i suspect a bit of butt hurt is going around too... we loose our top guy and the price doesnt flinch(ok maybe a little but it rose shortly after back to where it was), and nem could be a serious threat to other coins too so we getting trolled the same way nxt did by jeff garzik!
I've just post same words, but in Russian Wink
+1. To Come-from-Above? And gorillajam, bluemeanie1, darkota? in Chinese, 去死吧,你不做死不会死。

Thank u for mindless rambling. Good example of a little Mao Zedong NEM slave;D

pS no plans to die yet my cutie pie

It's not mindless it is a question: you post as Come-from-Above obviously copying a previous users name.
Why do you do this?
Are you hoping people will transfer their opinion of CfB to you?

Do you think it will make your posts carry more weight?
I would argue the opposite.
I am so sick of trolls.
A matter of perspective I suppose but I am happy I don't live in your world where you feel the need to do this. Creation is more rewarding than destruction and making money or getting recognition for doing good is actually better than for doing evil. Unless you have borderline personality disorder and then I can just pity you and wish you had a better life and childhood.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread {Updates & Discussion} on: June 15, 2014, 10:12:57 AM
Good to c 90% Posts about me.

Nem for the WIN! Enrich me mindless slaves!

Why are copying Come-from-Beyond's name? Isn't that a bit of a red flag that you want to be taken seriously without any credibility?
