101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: August 11, 2018, 09:23:38 PM
The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

This is true for the poor projects only and crypto market is still in early stages. You should HODL the coins that will have a real-life use and bright future. Otherwise fake daily hype will take the projects nowhere...
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many airdrop programs? on: August 11, 2018, 09:18:34 PM
Hello everybody  Grin

I want to ask something, why every day even every time a lot of airdrop programs that appear? I do not know where they came from and how they came, suddenly appeared. thanks

The question should be "why so many ICOs" actually. Smiley

Airdrops are just a smart way doing a promotion campaign for their new projects and there are too many similar ICOs starting up every single day.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: August 11, 2018, 09:14:50 PM
I don't know the "best" time to sell them but one thing I'm pretty much sure is that time is not now. Smiley

The one who sells their altcoins now will most probably regret in the near future...
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who's next to go to the Moon? on: August 11, 2018, 09:11:58 PM
Hard to say as most of project almost reached their ATL. I would advise to pick up promising ICO and wait for the bull run. New tokens are most likely will grow fast then old alts
There are a lot of trust worthy crowdsales: ingot, botltcoin, gameprotocol, ubex.
Pick up any you like, all of them are promising
Invested 3000$ in Ubex and the rest of my deposit continue holding in ETH, will see how will it go.
Both ETH and Ubex have planned big updates in the network in q4 this year

WOW that is some quite amount of money. All their AI things in advertising etc. looks very promising but I hope they can do all their commitment and don't run the project like their bounty managers. They are a bit lazy and their bounty is running so slow.  Cheesy
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: August 11, 2018, 09:06:23 PM
There are hundreds of different altcoin projects on the market. So, you can't generalize all the altcoins as a whole, obviously. Of course, only the good coins will survive. This is the nature of things, man. Smiley
its too much altcoins and project from developer almost the same and don't have a different from previous project so many inevestor not interested with new project.hope the developer have a new for future altcoin

Yeah, I agree that there are too many similar altcoins, but there are some unique, cool projects too. It is just hard to find proper ones because of the whole promo bombing.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YUMERIUM - AN INCENTIVIZED, BLOCKCHAIN BASED, OPEN GAMING PLATFORM 🕹️🕹️ on: August 11, 2018, 09:01:22 PM
This project, thanks to the technology of blocking, wants to eliminate intermediaries between gamers and game developers, allowing to conduct transactions directly with minimal commission. I think this project has a future and make the game industry better.
Yes, the project is good. But if we take a look to all the situation in cryptoworld.. I don't even know if the future of the project is bright..

Are you sure you made a proper research about it mate? Their games are great and the team, founder Jikhan Jung is brilliant. They own biggest VR Arcade franchise in Korea with over 30 locations. HTC was one of the investors. They are building a HUGE gaming ecosystem. I think the future of the Yumerium is so bright and will help to the crypto world to make it better... Smiley
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Market all RED today. I am so scared on: August 11, 2018, 08:45:56 PM
BTC $5800
ETH $395
NEO $29
BTC $23
XRP $0.48
...
I lost 70% of my investment. WTF is going on?? I am really scared.
Does this real the bubble will explode in 2018?
Please give some advices.
Thank you so much!

Do not trade with your emotions mate! Trust me, if you do that you'll end up losing %100 of your money. If you can not hold back your emotions while you are trading then crypto market is not for you imho.

Good luck!
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: August 11, 2018, 08:26:44 PM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

Yes, exactly but on the other hand, I should say most of the bounty hunters are doing just copy & paste and have no idea what they are promoting about. Smiley

Although the management team has changed. Many people don't pay much attention to it, just care about the price.the price is still so low.The team should do market value management and raise the price.

Are you sure about that? Can you provide the source about it? Because as far as I see it still managing by the exact same team, Subdream Labs and I should say they are doing awesome!

Kudos guys! You guys are doing great. All I can see is a great future for the STAKER! I couldn't sell any single STR even for your trading competition. I can't wait to see you guys listed on Coinmarketcap...
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reasons why one should invest in bitcoin now? on: August 04, 2018, 05:23:21 PM
1. Bitcoins are independent of any central authority
2. Upwards trend in the coming month
3. Its the largest cryptocurrency out there
4. Europe just regulated it as a commodity exempt of VAT
5.  High volatility in the equities market can positively affect the price of bitcoin
6. More and more companies are creating tools for the Bitcoin ecosystem
7. To be an early adopter of the powerful blockchain technology

plus 8. bitcoin dominates the market. We all are here because of BTC existence. So I don’t understand why someone don’t have bitcoin in portfolio if they believe in cryptocurrency.
Plus 9. Cheesy There is a very limited amount of bitcoin out there. It seems there is 17.190.087 BTCs out there but, some of them are lost in the wallets from early holders.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: August 04, 2018, 05:09:33 PM
Bitcoin is currently trading at 6k but there has been a  consistent prediction that before the year ends it will be up to 25,000. I want to know how many of you share in that optimism because at present, it's all bearish and nothing more.

I think it is pretty much possible. When the Lightning Network will come it will be the game changer! Not only the Bitcoin, for the all the cryptocurrency market! So, why not?

That is great news, guys! I am looking forward to it closely.

By the way, is there any news about the Cryptomine? Will it be released before your main sale?
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: August 04, 2018, 04:57:07 PM
I think Ethereum will be worth $15000 or more in this year.
What you guys think ?

It seems it is not that possible for this year, but in the future, it is highly possible if you ask me. It is a great platform and becoming bigger and more popular every day. Why not? Smiley
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotional day trading on: August 04, 2018, 04:53:44 PM
It is a good thing that you reveal yourself as an example to warn the newbies in here. Day trading is already very risky and doing that with your emotions it most likely will end up losing all your money.

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green market on: August 04, 2018, 04:24:23 PM
Hey guys, i want to know your opinin about - if there will be again dump and when is the best time to buy altcoins now?

There will be always dump and pump in cryptocurrency market and nobody knows the best time in my humble opinion. If anyone could make a definite prediction about the future of the market, he/she would make an investment instead of commenting here. Smiley
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who's next to go to the Moon? on: August 04, 2018, 03:57:04 PM
I have a feeling many Altcoins will recover in due time, maybe a month or so.. and at that time, what Alts do you think will grow the most against BTC (not against fiat) ?

I like DCR, VTC, XVG, OMG, ZRX, VIB, SC and LTC/ETH (usual suspects).  News about VIB being added to some major exchanges, makes me think this one can Moon..

I'm really wondering what happened to the Viberate. The project looks great and they are stick to their roadmap and still dipping. Why is that?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FACEBOOK AS THE BASIS OF LEGIT ICO on: August 04, 2018, 03:53:29 PM
Anyone can make a facebook account and pretend that their project is developing but in reality there is nothing happening. I would suggest you not to depend on facebook alone cause you might get scam next time. Do proper research about the team members, whitepaper, roadmap and then escalate them.

Yeah, totally agree. Facebook or any other social media account's management is just a little part of doing a legit ICO. I always research the team members first and then roadmap, whitepaper etc.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sparkster ICO - are you in . Do you trust in this project ? on: August 04, 2018, 03:48:41 PM
The video looks pretty terrible and doesn't provide any essential information about the project. Crowdsale has ended, so I guess we have no choice but to wait until it appears on the exchanges. I don't like it that the name is confusing, because of the Nintendo video game with the same name. And 82 pages is way too much for a whitepaper. An idea of allowing to create apps without coding sounds nice, but let's just wait to see if they can really make it possible. For now I see a lot of trust in project's awesomeness from the creators, but no solid ground to believe that it actually is so.

Totally agreed. Also, their website looks a bit poor for me to be honest. Time will tell us if it is a solid project or not.
