We have a couple of months to prepare and put the groundwork in before Scrypt ASICs hit and people have to find alternatives quick. There are a lot of people in denial about the impact, but then if you are in the Litecoin crowd you do not have anything to worry about.
I am getting messages from people about being added to various services which is great but the one thing missing that is needed is a wallet.
If anyone knows an Android developer who can make crypto wallets then please let me know. This is work I would commission. This is an important step if we are to get used at the counter. We have secured the blockchain so we are a good choice but need a wallet.

Hi,
first time i am using sgminer ( BAMT V1.6.0 ) on linux base.
I have a rig with 2 x HD 7990 ( 4 x GPU 7970 ) bringing me 2.4 MH with cgminer mining a simple scrypt coin like LTC.
Each GPU has around 84°C with mining LTC.
Now sgminer shows me 6.6 MH for my rig and GPU´s are only around 60°C.
Am i doing something wrong or is that normal ??

also got banned worker, after half hour
Maybe we should start to compare version numbers of sgminer.. I'm aware that the dev made some change to one of the later branches which introduces this problem.. Invalid shares after some time.. They were discussing in the sgminer thread over it, I just did not follow the conversation. Maybe someone will find it and could post a link here from the sgminer thread my workers are having issues after ~30 minutes as well... Can you add an other worker and try it again with the same settings ? Does it say "banned!" or are you just getting rejects ? it said me worker temporarily banned Ok, I'm currently looking into this but cannot find a clue.. other seem to not get banned at all, just a few .. could be the version of sgminer Try it with an other workername please. My worker was banned, too... Yes, there is probably an issue with X11, I'm looking into this. As a work-around: Create two workers, worker.1 and worker.2 and configure sgminer to use worker.2 as a failover when worker.1 is banned. (that should work with giving multiple -o switches. Aaah, I think I've found it, it was a problem with the difficulty.. Invalids were counted 1024 times more than they should So if you even sent 1 invalid, the pool thought you sent 1024... which than made it ban you It is fixed now, so no false positives should be banned anymore, sorry guys ! I back in the pool |

Test-Pool here: https://hiro.suprnova.ccCurrently no fee with Vdiff + Stratum etc. I'm currently adjusting the difficulty, so expect some rejects/false shares and reconnects, should be finished and ready as soon as we got some miners with some power in there. GPU Miners, please use the RECENT version of sgminer, the "exploitable" version is banned on this pool. Attention: TEST Pool ! Might not work, as X11 is new to me, but im working on it. You've been warned ! Stick with solo mining if you are unsure !Just found a block for the pool |
