wtf? he is running to the hills, why so annoying? morrowind, elder scrolls? get a life. He said that he cashed out half of his BTC yesterday b/c he has a plan to play with the proceeds for two years. I said that his plan seems to be very short sighted, especially given the likely direction of BTC in the next six months. Therefore I asked him where he planned to put his investments, and he failed/refused to answer, and instead stuck to his original framing about how wonderful he is., etc etc etc.. for making so much money, while he left quite a bit on the table through neglect and/or lack of foresight, so it seems. other posters mentioned morrowind and elder scrolls.... b/c I do NOT know WTF are morrowind and elder scrolls... even though those topics may be relevant.  Regarding, "get a life" Yes, we each have lives and we choose how to spend our lives, and part of my life, at the moment includes posting on this forum and responding to relevant issues... and attempting to contribute to the forum (thread) in a productive direction. I have it in my bank account where I pay my bills and pay for goods with €.... The best of my current bank accounts only pays about 1% interest, and possibly you could get 3 or 4% if you have some kind of premium bank account and if that is what floats your boat, then who am I to say? Quoting myself from 10th June: If the price drops below 450$ then the uptrend is broken and after a weak rebound we'll drop even lower. To go higher than 700$ would require that the upcoming correction doesn't drop below 450$ (not below 550$ to be sure). But many times the markets need an excuse to go down, and now they got some. that's still a dos attack, and that's still a problem or like within 10 minutes. I'm not sure I understand, if the hashrate drops significantly, it could take longer than 2 weeks for it to adjust. blocks would be very slow in the meantime, it's still a denial of service attack. is it not? When the POOL'S hashrate drops. ah, ok, so they drop below 50 and the attack is dead? my point is that the possibility of the 51% attack is something that needs to be addressed. so we either test it and find out now, or we just sit around and talk about it until some time down the road someone pulls it off and kills the network? I feel like the drop was mainly due to 51% attack fear. I wish someone would just attempt a real 51% attack already and prove how futile or destructive it is. seriously, if it's such a big problem, then how can you ever trust the blockchain with your life savings? until it is tried, and defended against, it will always be a potential "deal-breaker" for bitcoin. kinda like the fork that happened a while ago. (that moment is also the reason I'm still mining at btcguild, even though we're getting crushed right now) - but I am thinking of creating a ghash.io account and pointing my negligible hashrate over there just so we can see what happens... If there is anything that can break bitcoin, it is better to get it out of the way now, better than later... More than likely what will happen is market prices will take a nose dive in prices for the next few weeks until coins have done auction and won and no doubt people will continue to sell and drop the prices below $200 a coin and continue to drop and my prediction is around the $150 area where things will get interesting and some dumped and some held and prices will go back up and back down again a few times.
Expect prices to go to mid 400s next then 300s for a week or so and back down a little more and then slowly go back up. Then again it could go the other way. No doubt the twins will be in for scooping up some cheap coin to get 1% of their hold in bitcoin increased.
