Technical question:
1) There will be mined only part of all 99 billion coins with POW?
and
2) The rest coins will be distributed as 25%, 20%, 15% POS interest?
then
3) Where are coins for year 4 and ongoing years: 5% interest

with the theme forging I propose the following
each time it is going to generate a block all accounts can forge, 100000 Nxt bags are grouped.
Accounts with more than 100000 nxt one goes
The smaller accounts 100000 nxt expressly not want to be grouped go alone
Bob's account forging and is in a bag. Their fees are divided into the bag belonging.
This solution at least provoke everyone who wants to forge receive fees every 2-3 days maximum one week.
This at least solves that small accounts are equally motivated to forge that big.
I don't quite get your english  If you want to make differentiation of how big the accounts are and what fees they are getting, then the following will happen: The big accounts divide their accounts, smaller divide their accounts, every one divides their accounts an in the end we have 1,000,000,000 accounts. And now tell me, what has changed? Real world example: When you turn on TV you will expect to see in 2 second some moving pictures. Now imagine that you will have TV where you must wait 50 years before your favorite TV series will start. This 50 years situation is today's situation with forging. Automated grouping, Shared Forging, Leased Forging will show some progress in forging every day. Nobody will get rich from this, but it is about "It's good, I see every day what I forged" it is working and I will continue. |

Pump Who is able to develop a lightweight NXT tool for Windows and Mac, which sits just in your taskbar/menubar (see picture as an example)?Installing and running this little tool should be hassle free. You can lookup your account, use main Nxt functions (like sending NXT, messaging), activate/deactivate forging right from the menu and you see some general blockchain stats. (I'm no windows user. Do windows user still have this little apps in the task bar? Or is there a modern equivalent, like a gadget on the desktop?) Since this is so OS-special, maybe two different developers for Windows and Mac. Come on, guys. Raise your hand for this project! Here is a really bad mock up (I'm no developer). Do you get the idea, my Nxters? Wouldn't you (and others) love this tool which would actively secure the Nxt network? Lightweight, unobtrusive. Once it will exist portal NXT -> EUR, would it be possible to get some kind of invoice (in EU)? Or will it be my problem to explain it before government will ask me.
This will be important question for all potential eshops too.

I think forging should be more interactive. For example: Someone started a node with 10000 NXT, waited for 1 week, still 10000 NXT -> Boring. plus no idea, if it actually worked or not, maybe even a false run. Other example: Someone started node with 10000, in 6 hours he get 10000.0001 Pool functionality but with no risk. There are lots of people who can run a node at work with no cost (for them ). We should show them they can earn some doing nothing. I dont start bitcoin / other miner coz a lot of cooler noise. NXT makes no noise I see some connection between your idea and " Shared Forging". In case we can Share to 1000 accounts or equivalent of 1M NXT. " Shared Forging" sounds to me much more better then " Leased Forging" which leads to big pools. Today's Forging person with small NXT amount will wait 50 years to see forged block. Shared Forging person will see progress every day or week and get 0.001 NXT and not 20 NXT every 50 years. Forging / earning situation is disappointment for new people. And then they will talk bad about Nxt. |
