101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't be used for transactions? on: March 02, 2021, 08:33:50 PM
Well, it's not exactly like that. You can easily exchange BTC on fiat at almost any exchange market and you can easily purchase using BTC on Amazon for instance. But the problem is mostly in traders’ attitude towards huge volatility of BTC. Sometimes in several minutes BTC price changes on several thousands and then 45$ costs a bit different amount of BTC. If you possess a lot of coins and don't bother about this then you can easily purchase but in other case you didn't want to lose your coins and choose to pay with fiat money that is more stable.

Manchester City now intends to fight for Robin Gosens. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the Premier League.

Quote
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Manchester City has been approached. The Citizens have already come out in January, and Pep Guardiola is trying to bring him to Manchester in the summer.

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently i am quit from market and come in 2024 on: February 28, 2021, 12:22:21 PM
I understand your worries about trading now, especially if you expect that it's already a start of bear market and think that all the coins are going to decreased drastically for several next year's. It's really your choice to wait for the next bullrun or to continue trading on shorts. The second variant is risky, the first one is more safe for your money.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: February 28, 2021, 10:12:50 AM
I really sorry you've lost your money but don't do such silly things anymore. You shouldn't believe to all information that is put in telegram channel especially connected with buying tokens. There's always a possibility to be caught by scammers. There are official sites of bounty campaigns and different projects. Use them to buy tokens/coins, but be again patient and always check URL before entering the site, even if you enter exchange site.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 28, 2021, 08:49:38 AM

Of course all team will have the opportunity to change anything because there is still a second leg to play. Some team may only have a slight chance of qualifying, but still everything is still a possibility. I even really hope that Barcelona can beat Paris Saint-Germain 4 goals in the second leg, even though it's very difficult but I believe there is still a chance.

In my opinion, the percentage or chance the team will qualify for the next stage is:
1. Barcelona 20%
2. PSG 80%
3. Liverpool 85%
4. Leipzig 15%
5. Juventus 60%
6. Porto 40%
7. Dortmund 60%
8. Sevilla 40%
9. Chelsea 60%
10. Atletico Madrid 40%
11. Bayern Muenchen 90%
12. Lazio 10%
13. Real Madrid 70%
14. Atalanta 30%
15. Manchester City 90%
16. Moenchengladbach 10%

I don't expect everything I say to be true, some team might have lower or higher odds than I thought. In essence, all team still have a chance, both small and large.

I would like to see PSG, Atalanta, Manchester City, Dortmund, Juventus out of all these teams in the next round. The matches of these teams are very interesting to watch. I think that one of them will take the Champions League trophy this year.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 27, 2021, 09:56:13 PM
Milan and Manchester United both deserve to be in the Europa League final. But this year one of them will be unlucky. This is the main match of the tour for me.

And of course it will be interesting to watch the match Roma - Shakhtar. Although I think Roma will win, but I'll be rooting for Shakhtar.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: February 27, 2021, 09:04:09 PM
This article says that BTC and cryptocurrencies are more stable than local Venezuela’s Bolivar. This is a huge problem of inflation of their currency. They have to provide government regulations to stop inflation or to make a reset of their money. However if he article is not fake citizens of Venezuela exploit this situation as an interesting opportunity to use crypto in everyday life. I wonder how this can help them to stop economic collapse of their country and how poor people that have no Internet access survive there.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: February 27, 2021, 08:24:46 AM
What is gonna happen once the post-apocalyptic scenarios come true? When/if there will be no electricity, computers, phones, etc.? People will value no US Dollar backed by state promise to pay off debt… your decentralized piece of code will not exist anymore (I do know about some offline-friendly cryptocurrencies)… only gold or natural resources will become valuable again.
While I do know many “Bitcoin evangelists” will probably hate me for the words above, but don’t you think that Bitcoin intentionally or unintentionally became the new asset for the “fake rich”?

In post-apocalyptic world those hundreds of people who will survive will definitely think not about BTC, treasures or dollars, they will think about food, roof over the head and some clothes to wear. But we are not in post-apocalyptic world now. We live in interesting time when people taught how to make money from "nothing". They trade in exchanges, hodl BTC and some stocks and are quite happy that they have profit and don't have to work somewhere on plants or do other dirty work. Are they "fake rich"? Not really. If they can exchange their assets on fiat and buy everything they need for their lives than they're clever people who learnt how to live in this world and in this time.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: February 26, 2021, 11:11:24 AM
hmm not only Polkadot which is a close competitor Ethereum, but there are still some other top altcoin like BNB and can even also for altcoin out there can be a killer Ethereum, but I think it will not happen in the near future. ethereum still dominates the second rank based on market capitalization CMC.

Traders get used to Ethereum as the most wild-popular and trusted cryptocurrency after BTC, as well as project developers get used to create their new projects on ETH Blockchain. That is the one of the reasons why BNB is not a competitor to ETH. As for Polkadot, it's a very promising crypto on very attractively constructed Blockchain but we still need time to see if it will gain such popularity as ETH Blockchain.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 25, 2021, 09:21:51 PM
I am pretty sure that Milan will win the match. They will keep the dream for the title. This will be the crucial match to determine which club to be the winner in this season. Inter seems to win against Genoa, it is not a big team and they will play at home. If AC Milan is defeated by Roma, there will be 7 points as the gaps. AC Milan will become hard to overtake Inter with the difference of 7 points. So, I bet they will play all out in this match.
I also hope AC Milan can beat Roma in that match. This is one way to keep AC Milan on the right track in the title race. The defeat to Inter Milan cost them an important point and that must be fixed against Roma. Winning will be a must for Ac Milan and I am sure this time they will not disappoint me.

By the way, today AC Milan will play FK Crvena Zvezda for the Europa League, I want them to react well after the defeat. Stefano Pioli must maximize the performance of his current players.
Seriously AC Milan must get three points from AS Roma if wanna be close with Inter Milan as competitor for Serie A scudetto because not they left fours points and never make the same tradition where AC Milan at the end of league always make joke by getting loss. Still not consistent Juventus have take bigger chance for AC Milan get scudetto after missing more than seven years.

Milan has every chance to finish the season well. But I don't know what's going on inside the club right now. The management had a bad relationship with the coaching staff. If that's all behind us, everything will be fine.
And in Europa League they are doing well. The opponent is weaker.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 25, 2021, 09:18:48 PM
Schaktar 1-0 Maccabi
Shakhtar easily wins the second match as well. The result was obvious. All the same, Shakhtar is a stronger club than Maccabi. But in this match I expected a little more goals than it was.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: February 24, 2021, 08:25:02 PM
A while ago I thought the correction was already applied since bitcoin dropped a couple thousands of dollars, but it seems tho have recovered and plateaued for a while now so I can't say much for sure at this point. That being said it's really hard to predict when the correction will commence knowing that there is very strong resistance at the moment. Soon as that is taken care of we can expect bitcoin to dump.
You can't call what happened today - a correction, no. Because if it'd have happened, it'd have shook the markets and took some time to recover while keeping BTC in ranging for weeks if not months. But this time, it showed us the power of buyers, what an immense feeling of bears getting eaten up RAW by bulls and that's the only reason that while we saw our trades going red, they turned back in green again in no time.
It depends on what is considered under such a concept as correction. Personally, I believe that today's slight drop in the exchange rate can be considered a short-term correction, however, which should not yet lead to a subsequent collapse.
and yet people do really give out that kind of vibe on where they do believe that this price decline might be the start of such crash or huge correction.
It seems that lots of people now are anticipating or waiting up for that huge correction for them to buy cheaper coins but it seems the market doesnt really go as expected.
Instead, it do recovers most of the times after have some minor dumps and do make out recovery later on.Its really good to those who do love to scalp out the market.
Just like me where $100-200 volatility will really be enough.

That's because noob traders prefer to use huge dumps and pumps to get good grains. Though it's really hard for them to distinguish short-term correction after which market recovers and the start of bear-market when they would have to wait for years to get some grains or to cover their loses if they were inaccurate to buy on ATH before coins suddenly decreased
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: February 24, 2021, 01:39:02 AM
Here all the rules are quite obvious. I almost always when I bet I am guided by almost all the rules.

And as for gambling, it's simple, I'm not a very gambling man. I almost always analyze the risks. However, I have one friend who used to bet. He had serious problems with it. He ended up borrowing money and taking things to the pawnshop. I remember he wanted to sell me his PS4 for $80. He ended up going to a doctor for help. I don't understand how it could have come to that, though. Before he started betting, he always said betting was bad.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 22, 2021, 06:49:26 PM

I think Juventus will win today without problems. But will this help him in the fight for the championship? They lost in the last round of Napoli, and this greatly reduced their chances of winning the championship. Probably preparing for the match with Porto, but lost this match. Crotone is a weak opponent and will not give Juventus any problems today.

I would even say that Juventus has no chance to lose or draw. I'm sure that in the match against Crotone they will give a lot of key players a rest. However, I'm not sure it will help them win the championship.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed as Money? on: February 19, 2021, 10:10:24 PM
It’s still early to talk about bitcoin as money. The biggest minus in using BTC for daily small payments is huge fees and long time you spent for transactions. These destroy plans and hopes of all traders to see BTC as means of payment for goods, taxi etc. We definitely need someone to invent App that will “outflank” somehow these minuses. Then everyone will have an opportunity to use crypto just like you use credit cards.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 19, 2021, 09:22:40 PM
I don't see anything wrong with that. It's just part of the advertising campaign and if you're a reasonable person you should understand that. In the same way, you can talk about, for example, clothes and appliances that streamer advertises. There is nothing wrong with the advertising itself.

There are, of course, situations when you can not be on the side of the streamer. For example, some casinos can give money to the streamer or blogger from the players who lost their referral link. Here I find it much harder to say that this is normal. Because if in the first situation, the steamer gets paid for advertising, then in the second situation, he is simply interested in losing his viewers. And he will actively offer to play to his viewers.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What games are best suitable for PvP gambling? on: February 19, 2021, 09:10:38 PM

I believe games like chess would be the best option for PvP games. There can be other games based on skill or luck and if I am not wrong there used to be a dice game on Primedice during its initial days where we were allowed to play against fellow players on the primedice platform and there was a small fees which was charged though, not sure about that though.

By the way this topic was started years ago but I am shocked no PvP games have been made yet, maybe because the house wants the player to lose money to them instead of other players but with the help of a small fees per bet there can be platforms who might offer these games.

Chess can certainly be a better solution. But I'm not sure that Chess will be very popular. After all, it's not a game for everyone and games can take a very long time. I once went to chess school and I remember that once a game lasted more than 6 hours. I think a lot of people would get bored with such a long game. We need a game that lasts no more than an hour and a half.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2021, 08:50:41 PM
it was unexpected especially after the red card Crvena Zvezda took, thank god i had doubts about the ability of Milan to win before the match started, and didn't bet on them to win.

I know what you mean. I wanted to bet on Milan to win.But it was like something stopped me. So in the end I just bet that the match would be scored more than 3 goals and it worked. Although the victory of Milan was too obvious before the match, but this is soccer and there can be any result.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2021, 08:40:09 PM

That won't come true, Barcelona's finances are in trouble. If able, I hope there will be two new players in the LB and RB position and 1 defensive midfielder. But they also still need a buzz up front like Suarez.

They will sell a couple of players who do not fit into the coach's plans. And I think it would be better if Messi was released. Otherwise, Barcelona will be out of the crisis for a long time. In La Liga they can still compete for the championship, but in the Champions League they can hardly count on anything. ...

I also think Messi should be let go. Barcelona needs to change their tactics in the short term. Because right now they are weaker than the top 5 leagues. I'm not even surprised they conceded 4 goals in the match.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: February 18, 2021, 01:25:21 PM

Government increment the rate of certain nourishments and other areas yet stable because of their flexibly and demand  The Covid-19 exceptionally sway on our economy and shut a bunches of business and a large number of us lost our jobs.
At any rate, we ought not to frustrate since I accept these all are brief and everything becomes normal after a few months. I hope next year brings something special to the world, especially for the bitcoin community.
We can't lose hope, as it's the only thing that we all have now after this pandemic.
We are looking forward as we continue accepting all those changes from our daily lifestyle, a lots of businesses are being close and now we are already seeing some to comeback and reopen, establishments who are now being open are surviving from this set up, hopefully after this year we will see much better economy not that the same before covid but much better than from when covid hits up.

Despite the fact that the hype over all these covid-19 pandemic calm down, still we face up with its consequence. Doubled prices for all the goods are not the only one thing that happened. Lots of small companies were closed; as a result lots of people lost their works; people in depression made suicides, a lot of those who were ill still suffer from after-effects of covid, the others are going to be vaccinate with some strange vaccine that can have some unknown after-effects that might be worth then consequence of the disease. If such situation will continue economy of my country will crash totally.
