101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: February 27, 2018, 08:30:27 PM
Bitcoin is not dead. People always say bitcoin is dead when the price drops but the price comes back up after a few months. There is lows and highs in bitcoin price but it has only increased in the long term. And usage of bitcoin is increasing too. If the usage keeps increasing that means that bitcoin is becoming more successful.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: February 27, 2018, 08:09:27 PM
It is not too late. Most people do not know about cryptocurrencies. You have to start researching about cryptocurrencies. Read about it and then start to use it.

After learning and using it you will no longer be a beginner.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: February 27, 2018, 04:28:49 PM
I think Binance is the best exchange. I want to try yobit too.

Binance has a lot of coins and a easy interface. Its fees are low compared to other exchanges.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I HOLD this: ----> post your holding coins! on: February 27, 2018, 04:27:20 PM
Most of my money is invested into Bitcoin and ethereum.

I want to invest in altcoins. I am thinking of investing in litecoin and nano.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US State Georgia next in line to accept cryptocurrency for taxes on: February 27, 2018, 04:24:50 PM
This will help people and is good news.

Many people want to pay taxes to government but don't want to convert to cash everytime they pay tax. This will make it easy for crypto owners to pay taxes.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is micromoney scam? on: February 27, 2018, 04:20:49 PM
Have you tried contacting anyone from micromoney team?

It is selling on exchanges under the token name of AMM. If you think it is a scam you can just sell them on exchanges.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: February 27, 2018, 03:58:01 PM
Telegram followers can tell something about popularity of the ICO but it is not the measure of ICO success because many telegram subscribers never invest in ICO and many ICO have many followers which do not even exist.

Do not buy ICOs based on telegram numbers.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 27, 2018, 03:16:50 PM
Keeping money on exchange is risky. You should buy a hardware wallet to do it. Hacking and spamming is very common in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies if you are not secure enough.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell and buy ethereum? on: February 27, 2018, 03:14:18 PM
It is risky to sell things and buy ethereum.
I will buy ethereum if I have spare cash lying around but don't sell things to buy ethereum.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: February 27, 2018, 02:48:01 PM
ICOs will not die in 2018. There are many good icos and they will become coins. the bad ICOs and scams will die and their coins will not be successful but other companies will still do ICOs.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: February 26, 2018, 11:41:13 PM
It's best to do ICO's before the ICO. AKA the presale. Maybe join a pool to get an extra bonus too.

There's lots of syndicates showing up and I like the Gambit one, not cheap to get into though.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptocurrency of Gold!!!! on: February 26, 2018, 11:40:07 PM
I think there's several projects doing this.  I think I heard about some gold DAO or something. Not a great fan though as gold just doesn't go up in price much. And if it did, a 3x ETF or something might be better haha.

Actually 3x ETF sounds pretty stupid, might be better to just get CFDs with leveraeg
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Possible to Buy Altcoins with Fiat Money on: February 26, 2018, 11:02:53 PM
It depends on where you are from mostly. There's many countries in Europe that offer altcoin directly.  Also many fiat exchanges have ETH, which still can can be considered an altcoin.

You could also just trade with someone you know or find some shady guy on the streets
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price bubbled? on: February 26, 2018, 11:01:15 PM
Is it really a bubble if it repeats itself?  Love this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbZ8zDpX2Mg

Maybe it's just going to build up for one last big bubble in a few years, this certainly isn't the last one though, so much still has to come.

But after every ''crash'' the bottom goes up too so it's not a real bubble.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Animosity Towards Banks on: February 26, 2018, 12:46:58 AM

  • As noted above banks have laundered money for terrorists, drug cartels, organized crime and russians over the past 10-15 years

I am a big fan of cryptocurrency and I do not like the banks at all. Banks are very corrupt and create a lot of trouble for people and I agree with your other points.

But bitcoin can also be used for laundering money can't it? [/list]
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: February 26, 2018, 12:30:04 AM
cryptocurrency is more than a currency or an asset .. ...an even bigger advance is the fact that the development in cryptocurrency space leads to the internet 3.0 .....thats a huge progress
I agree mostly. I wouldn't call it internet 3.0 though, although it's comparable.

I think Email 2.0 would be better. Peer to peer money, no need for a third party. It can't host millions of websites and institutions though.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: February 25, 2018, 11:39:40 PM
I think Bitcoin isn't as big as the internet, I think it's  more comparable to email, just a part of the internet. You don't need to go to a postal service to send mail anymore, you don't need permission to write an email to whoever you want and it goes a lot faster, especially when sending abroad.

Email was never really the next big thing though.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: February 25, 2018, 11:38:17 PM
Really hard to say, I think many countries will regulate more and Artificial intelligence is going to do blockchain analysis, causing criminality with bitcoin to go down a lot. They might use Monero or something though.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 24, 2018, 12:43:37 AM
Highly unlikely that bitcoin is ever replaced by another cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is the only leader in cryptocurrency. When the price of Bitcoin goes down all other coins crash. When it goes up all other coins go up.

Ethereum follows this pattern too.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: February 24, 2018, 12:40:48 AM
Bitcoin transaction fees is decided by the mempool and the miners.

If the mempool is empty then a low fee transaction will go through. If you want a fast transaction then you have to pay a higher fees so that it is included in a block as quickly as possible.
