Still think its strange that an ico with an actual white paper get much less attention than one with vague promises..
Because it's all smoke and mirrors my friend, from fake amounts raised to promotion/media articles in return for free coins and/or pump targets/info. Some of the questions I've gotten and info. requested in return for aid have also helped me glean more info. on the scene. That being said I know there are a number of interested parties on the side (as I've said) who have no reason to enter until the last couple of days. The games and smoke and mirrors of altcoins are also a good reason why I prefer the crowd fund help us focus on the government, corporate and financial 'real world' looking inwards rather than bitcointalk and what we currently have to work with 'inside' the scene.  It might seem that I am quiet but those who have PM'd me and received the apologetic late replies know a lot of my conversations are one-to-one talking to people, sharing ideas and answering questions rather than just blanket promotions. I'd rather work with people and get to know them than quickly sell a dodgy 'product'. Last couple of days will be interesting - we should see a good pick up of promotion and volume - I'm cautiously optimistic. Sounds great! It's true that allure of quick profit gains greater traction rather than a longer term, professional approach. It's a testament to the legitimacy of the project that you would allow your plans and well-thought out white papers (and your personal informations to boot) to speak for themselves. I think the time for big investors and investments into the altcoin scene will come in the next years. Most VCs aren`t aware of Bitcoin. So why should they know about altcoins. So if Rofo starts a nice little solid business which will be the basis of more the time will come where investors who have real plans with their money will invest into it. but first they need to know more and more about cryptocurrencies. when they see that bitcoin is full of VCs they probably choose an solid noble altcoin with huge potential. (DGB showed us how it works I know so much people with a lot of money. they do daytrading, stocks etc. but don`t know crypto. If they come and invest some money into crypto there will be a huge rush again. EDIT: 9 BTC Volume on Poloniex today  |

Project sounds like a winner but, being an old Noble holder, I have a question or two:
What is the ultimate goal for the Noble coin?
What is your time frame for reaching the above goal?
Do you see any significant increase in Noble value from this endeavor?
Please excuse me, I'm sure this is all spelled out somewhere but, I have very limited time in the threads these days.
NOXT funding helps to build up an infrastructure for NOBL. Also there will be a NOBL burning. Cutting the supply of NOBL will probably bring an increased value with it. The time frame is from dec. - march 2015. you can find roadmap on OP. |

why is everybody complaining about the "low" activity of the devs. every coin has this discussion further or later. devs need to work and get shit done. If they always sit in front of their computer they cant be productive. and then everyone complains why there are no updates. so please trust those devs. they did a great job and as far as I can see they answer questions every day. that s not normal in my eyes. some devs are offline for days and than show up with great ideas and new things. be patient  long haul is a long time. |

falling again Because daytraders are clever  . They profit from panic buyers. true  I sold at 11k and buy when we hit bottom again. Nice to see that prices on poloniex are at 10,5 k still and cryptsy at 9200  Welcome in the club of clever daytraders. If the price jumps by 100% without any specific reason, it's 100% sure it will fall like rock within next 48 hours. And that's what happening now. I still have no idea what was the reason of this pump...just because it it wasn't for longer time? But I enjoyed the ride and I hope it wasn't just testing pump cause I sold all I have been holding and accumulating for 10 months. Maybe my low buy orders get filled for one last time, if not, then it's time to ride BTC waves. This pump must be done by btc38 speculators, they earned a lot from XRP and STR bubble, and they pumped BC Always great to see how pumps work. Rich get richer and the poor who think they can make a quick buck sit on the coins ^^ |

It's certainly a nice article, but in terms of the number of years it takes for a quarter of the US population to adopt Bitcoin, it depends on when you start counting from. Bitcoin is technically already 5 years old, so not a great deal faster than the 7 years it took to embrace the web. Maybe we'll pick up the pace a bit in 2015.
i thought the same. my guess is, it will take until 2020/2021 to reach 25% of the polulation in the US. no problem for me I´m still young and just want to get more BTC |

I haven't been able to connect to the qubit pool on http://digihash.co/ for a day or so now. Is something up? are you getting all rejected shares or a "dead" pool? Dead pool. It was working fine for about 1 week prior to this.  probably they didnt update after fork? |
