101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 24, 2018, 07:46:00 PM
Yes, since there are lots of predictions arise. The price of altcoins urge to increase which a indication for new batch of income to come.
All of cryptocurrency is just a barter something that they think that they deserve for the coin. The prices of cryptocurrency is overhyped.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I all in,how about U?! on: January 24, 2018, 07:44:39 PM

 Grin Grin Grin

I find it to be very risky to all in you might be rich overnight but if you do this often you might win many times but you just need 1 time and all your winnings can be wipe out in no time, So is better to earn slowly that go all in at one time.
Earning money slowly is how I like to roll. If the money comes by too fast then I become rather skeptical.
103  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: January 24, 2018, 07:43:56 PM
i never invest in ICO's..
there are too many..
but i wish i could invest in ADA ICO Smiley
If you are wanting to invest in that ICO then why don't you just invest in it? Is that coin a scam? I don't know about it.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perfect Bounty Program? on: January 24, 2018, 07:43:05 PM
What are you looking for in a Bounty program? Any thoughts are welcome! Smiley
I am looking for something that is active in the community and a team that is willing to make their project stronger than other cryptocurrencies.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 23, 2018, 09:35:18 PM
The situation now we face in btc price shows that it already happened. To see that price going down and lets base the price to btc supply I think yes 2018 is the downfall of btc price. Maybe someday btc price will back again.
People were complaining about the price of Bitcoin when it was around $500 and now they are complaining about it when it's $10,000.
The complaining won't end though there should be a higher price next time.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Time To Buy Bitcoin!! on: January 23, 2018, 09:33:55 PM
It's held the 10,000 area well considering how much negativity has come out every 2-3 days to knock back its rise.  Definitely, a good time to start accumulating a little.
Especially since people just made a lot of fiat from Bitcoin in the past couple months. People will leave then try to come back when the price gets larger than they sold it for.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price goes down on: January 23, 2018, 09:33:00 PM
When bitcoin reached it high a lot of people sold there shares demand now bitcoin although it's 10k it's still expensive to buy so I think this is normal to happen what's not normal was hitting 20k in few month so people chill everybody is making money out of bitcoin
This is a very common thing, I've noticed the same situation with Altcoins and they get their price back to where it was in like a month.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam ICO on: January 23, 2018, 06:27:22 PM
`Very, very difficult to select the ICO . because now a lot of scams and projects that never come to market . So you need to be very carefully selected . To test the team , the road map , the project site , and the very idea of the project´

Exactly, it is hard to find out which ones are fake but you can still minimize the risk by dyor!
Dyor coin?
It's better to research what's out there, many coins still use Ethereum for their sales so it's better to get a coin that is primary focused on gathering Bitcoin because they know that Ethereum is just another coin.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts or Fiat? on: January 23, 2018, 06:25:14 PM
This year will be the year of altcoins. Bitcoin won't gain as much as last year and 3rd generation blockchains such as Aion and Cardano will rise.
This year could be the year that Altcoins finally get pumped like they used to. I don't know about AION coin though I know that Cardano will get pumped in 2018.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam ICO on: January 23, 2018, 06:24:19 PM
How to distinguish a Good ICO from a Bad ICO?
Read some ANN and most them are quite convincing
Wait, reading and the announcement thread is not enough. You have to read the source code and look for clone inputs because that coin could've been made in a single day.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about cryptopia? on: January 23, 2018, 06:23:15 PM
Cryptopia is a good combination of good coins and sh++coins. If you like to trade in both then this is the best exchange on the market for that purpose. It is not one of those small scammy exchanges, but good and easy to use. You'll find a good number of high quality privacy coins there so it's actually a good place to make some high return investments.
The coins that Cryptopia lists are usually the ones that get delisted in a matter of months. I don't trust that place.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What determines bitcoin value? on: January 23, 2018, 05:28:35 AM
You should know the latest information about the world of cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. If it comes bad information, FUD and the decision of a country to ban bitcoin it will make the bitcoin price go down. On the other hand, if many countries accept bitcoin as a means of transaction and a lot of positive news or information about bitcoin then certainly bitcoin price will go up. So, I feel that's affects the supply and demand for bitcoin.

Actually, the decline bitcoin prices can be overcome, if the investors aren't affected by some news that comes against bitcoin. For example, a FUD or a country will ban bitcoin, but investors don't use panic sell, but they just hodl their bitcoin I'm sure bitcoin price not go down.
It's more so of the community being supportive of what is on the market. They don't have to sell the coins that they have but they do.
That is why it's wise to just store your coin since almost everyone that is into Bitcoin wants some.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSANE BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEES!!! on: January 22, 2018, 10:03:18 PM
Today the bitcoin fees wasnt that high. It was okey for me and the transaction went fast as well.
If sending money without worrying about the wait is something that you could do then just send the money with Multibit. They tend to send money with a 0.0001 BTC fee.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Time To Buy Bitcoin!! on: January 22, 2018, 09:57:44 PM
I think anytime you can get a sub 10k bitcoin price you will be happy with that and by the end of this year I think that will be a profitable trade most likely. I don't see bitcoin being lower than 10k for much of the year but I am bullish on bitcoin and don't see the doomsday prediction of 3k happening this year.
Bitcoin being $10,000 per coin is a sale. There won't be that many people that will be able to purchase the coin when the Lightning Network gets launched correctly.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Red Market on: January 22, 2018, 09:56:13 PM
Why is everything just a sea of red these past couple of days? I know the FUD with South Korea was the cause for the first major dip, but since then, all that has been figured out but the market is still just being slaughtered.

Anyone know of possible reasons why?

South Korea case not solved till, people are in tension now and they are dumping their coins to recover the loss , those who buy at all time high they are in loss currently . coins like therum and bitcoin gold are booming in the sky since this issue created. also bitcoin fees are costly now average fees 0.001 Btc which is approx 15$ , normal bank fees is around 20$

main reason system network fees

I'm not talking about bitcoin. I'm more concerned on my altcoin holdings. Things like Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin gold, and now even the new fork Diamond is booming like crazy. And from my research, BTG and BTD are both worthless forks.. This can't be good for the market because they're just pumping usless forks.

I would not say that Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, and Bitcoin Diamond are booming like crazy, they are tanking with all the boat today, all double digits in the red.

They claim to be the real Bitcoin or the coin that will be the top digital currency.
With them losing money like that while they just started being in an exchange, it doesn't look that good for them.

117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need Advice from the Experts! on: January 22, 2018, 09:53:12 PM
Hey Guys-

Just joined the forum today and have a question for all of you experts. Forgive me, as this question I am sure has been asked a few times but I could not find specifics searching the various topics.

My son wants to get into Mining and I have access to 6 EVGA 1060 6GB graphics cards which I have rigged into a Corsair 740 case. My question is, can he effectively mine to see a profit with a home PC? I am not worries about the electric bill at all so that piece is irrelevant to me. I just want to make sure that investment of time and energy is worth it.

Thoughts?

TR
The difficulty for mining is really high, you might want to consider mining altcoins instead of Bitcoins so you can compete with less people.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the market pick up again?? on: January 22, 2018, 08:33:47 PM
The market is down again and BTC is down almost 50%. What do you think will happen?? Will it dip further??
I feel that the price is going to get much higher than 11 thousand dollars.
A lot of people in the world did not invest in Bitcoin yet.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 21, 2018, 11:01:18 PM
I believe it will be way more worthy in future that today, That is why I purchased few thousands of Ripples and saved for the future.
I will purchase some coins when I have more money, I don't really want to have any Ripple right now because I feel that Bitcoin is much more important to use in this current generation.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did YOU decide? on: January 21, 2018, 11:00:16 PM
Kodakcoin held their ICO and it came from the company itself so there's a strong support for that coin but I don't coin ICO's. I'll buy it when it's listed on different exchanges already. Before when I started to buy some bitcoin, it's the most popular coin and even until now and besides it has the biggest market cap. And the same with ETH, it has the 2nd biggest market cap. I'm not only deciding because of their market cap but also with the tech behind it and the community that supports it.
I can't get into coins with weird names like Kodakcoin and other names like it because they aren't that catchy.
I support a coin only if the problems are very small and could be let go.
