101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 26, 2022, 02:47:47 PM
I don't think that Barcelona should go for Luis Suarez now. He is very old now and he hasn't performed like Benzema in last season also. He scored a really low amount of goals in the La Liga. Barcelona need a solid centre-forward like Lewandowski now. I wouldn't expect Suarez to bring back his old times with Barcelona now. I mean they might go for him only if they fail in bringing Lewandowski or a top striker like him. But rather than going for him they can sign a player for a different position.

Chelsea's biggest needs are at least one defender and striker each. de Ligt is definitely a first class defender now and it would make Chelsea solid in defense again. However they lost Rudiger and Christensen both at the same time so I wonder whether there will be one more transfer to this position too. Signing a striker will be very important for them also as Lukaku is almost leaving the team to join Inter now. Havertz and Werner are decent players but their performances haven't been enough.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2022, 05:58:19 PM
Chelsea must be aiming to sign one of their defender targets who are Kounde and de Ligt. I guess that they won't aim to go for both of them as it would be very expensive for them. They can do this only if they are thinking of strengthening only their defense but as far as I can see there is no such situation now. As they are close to agree on a deal with Inter for Lukaku they will need to bring a new striker. There is going to be only Werner as a centre-forward in the team otherwise.

For me its wierd that we havent heard any transfer speculation for Chelsea. At least i didnt hear, probobly due to all this things going with Abramhovic. But with Lukaku leaving they need a striker and as far as the market is going o most all top strikers getting sold out so they dont have much time to get the right one

They are interested in some players already actually. Sterling and de Ligt have been the players rumoured with them these days. They are monitoring Lewandowski's condition at Bayern Munich too. Lukaku's departure will cause them to be in a big need of a striker certainly. Lewandowski seems to be their main target. It would be great for them if they sign one of the best strikers in the world now. But they won't be alone chasing this transfer at the same time as Barcelona are also in this race for example.

I'm going to be curious about what Brooklyn Nets are going to do next season. Their new transfers like Seth Curry and Ben Simmons will need to perform decently to help the team become successful. Seth Curry had a decent season right after coming here actually. He didn't have much problem with adaptation to the team. We didn't see Ben Simmons performing like that because of his lasting injury. Seth Curry also seem to be injured now  and I hope we can see both of these players getting ready to play as quick as possible.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 25, 2022, 03:19:29 PM
I think that Dortmund made a good goalkeeper transfer by signing Gregor Kobel. He is quite young (24) now and his performance last season was not too bad also. He conceded 39 goals in 28 league games. This can be improved more of course but the main reason for the majority of these goals was that Dortmund had big problems on defending. They are trying to solve this problem now with new transfers. Their first signing was Niklas Süle and I expect them to keep continuing.

I also think too. Gregor Kobel has played well the last year, his stats seems really good, and he can only improve his performance in the next years. About the attacker, I see that they has also signed a contract with

Haller from Ajax, and I don't know how to see this, because Eredvisie is absolutely another type of championship in comparison of Bundesliga or other big european championship. I don't think that he wil repeat his

performance also with Ajax, but who I am to say this  Huh

When it comes to Haller we are already agreeing that he is a wonderful centre-forward now. He is having his most productive years currently and I believe Dortmund are going for a really solid transfer. Erling Haaland's place is not easy to be filled quickly. It is hard to find an awesome player like him. Haller can still contribute a lot but Haaland's place will always be different for Dortmund. He has made a big impact after joining Dortmund. But Dortmund are accustomed to this kind of scenarios as they have sold so many young and talented players like him.

As there is finally an offer from Barcelona to Bayern Munich for Lewandowski then I will be curious about the following news about this deal. It is getting more interesting as time goes on because Bayern Munich are trying everything they can to make him remain in the team for one more season. He still has one more year on his contract currently and they must be relying on this. However as long as the player wants to leave the team shouldn't make big difficulties for him. Seeing him playing for Barcelona would be interesting after long years with Bayern Munich.

Making the right transfers is always important and helpful for a team to be more competitive for the title. So this is the thing Manchester City and Liverpool have done so far. Signing Haaland and Darwin Nunez will make them one step ahead of their opponents already now. Teams like Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal haven't made very big signings yet but we will see what happens in the coming days. Arsenal might not spend as much as Chelsea and Tottenham but they can fight harder for top 4 if they bring the kind of a forward they need.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 24, 2022, 01:54:01 PM
Franck Kessie is going to be released in one week. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's condition is still unknown while there is only one week left on his contract as well. Considering these things Milan's priorities are really a centre-forward and a midfielder. As for a defender, it would also be nice too to sign a strong defender. They need to increase their power not only offensively in the end. I wonder with whom they are going to fill Kessie's place. Kessie is a good midfielder and there are some big teams thinking of signing him.
Zlatan is probably staying, he may get a discount or something but at the end of the day he is going to stay. That has been the chatter at least, I can't guarantee anything in the world of football of course but it is going to be more like a Milan until retirement type of situation for him. They do need a midfielder, they are going to need that if they want to keep it going, but a pure striker that will score a lot is something they haven't had in a while.

Between Zlatan and Giroud, they had good talent that is old, but they really need someone that would make it a lot better for them to both have without injuries and also young enough to not get tired.

I hope that your opinion comes true. Because I also would like to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic moving on with Milan for at least one more season. He is 40 years old yeah but he can still be helpful for the team in some other ways even if he doesn't score so many goals. Giroud has still one more year left on his contract and I guess he isn't leaving anytime soon. Giroud had a good season after coming to Milan by the way. He is really loved by many Milan fans right now seemingly.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 23, 2022, 05:03:22 PM
PSG are going to be the number one contender for the Ligue 1 title again as always. Lille impressed all of us by winning the league title despite a very strong team like PSG. But this doesn't happen very often in any league including this one also. For next season no team come to my mind like I can say for them that they can make another surprise. Maybe Monaco or Marseille can be said for this but they still don't seem that much competitive. Monaco have lost some strength too after sending Tchouameni.
PSG is one of the biggest teams in the world, but their pattern of play don't seem to be attractive to me despite having a couple of big names in the team. The likes of Messi,Mbape,Neymar and co are in the team, but they still loose matches which makes me know that if there is no team spirit and cooperation in any tram, that team will not grow the ways it's supposed to grow.I can't  predict now whether they will win their league or not,but it seems to me that it is not too important to them, what is important to them is winning the champions league.

You are right that the most important point is going to be winning the Champions League for them. They already have no problem in the Ligue 1 as I said. They are ready to change their manager also to bring a better one who can lead the team to the victory. Apart from that they would make use of some good transfers also as you said. By the way Neymar is rumoured to join Juventus this summer but I believe it is just a rumour. I don't relate him to Juventus right now.

Gabriel Jesus still performed really good at Manchester City last season even though he wasn't the most scorer of the team. I don't think that Guardiola wasn't contented with his performance. However they still needed to sign a complete forward like Haaland if they were aiming to be even more effective and they did it. Gabriel Jesus has already proven his quality and this helped them some big teams start looking for signing him. It is time for him to leave now as he doesn't want to be the second striker of the team. I wish he goes to a team that he can be a regular in the starting eleven.

If they force him to remain in Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski would become and instant liability. The primary business of a club is to make profit, but it would be counter productive if he receives his huge pay and fail to deliver optimally because he is unhappy. Bayern Munich and the Polish football player should renegotiate and each side should reach an agreement that would be favorable to both sides. There are speculations that Barcelona is targeting Luis Suarez as a possible replacement if they fail to get the signature of Lewandowski.

I don't think that Bayern Munich can force Lewandowski to stay at the team. Lewandowski is still very determined to leave the team now and Bayern Munich can only try to convince him to stay. I have heard that they are going to try this option but I still don't expect anything to change about his decision. Lewandowski must be wishing to look for new adventures with a different team now. They say that he has some contract issues with Bayern Munich too. At the end I hope to see Lewandowski in a top team again.

There are really some news on reliable sources showing that Inter are finishing the Romelu Lukaku loan deal. Inter are very lucky to have him back like this. If they signed him on a permanent deal, it would be a way profitable deal compared to the amount they sold him to Chelsea. Chelsea must be very regretful about paying insane amount of money to sign Lukaku. I think we would most probably see Lukaku going back to Inter permanently later on if he performs strongly.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: June 22, 2022, 02:53:40 PM
I'm happy to hear that the limit for foreign players didn't change for next season. The reason why I'm happy is that I believe teams need to sign as many as foreign players they can. We don't have too many very skilled Turkish players in the league now. In this condition we can't expect the big teams in our league to play with unskilled players just because they are Turkish. We need successes in European tournaments too so I hope we don't have any problem about this situation again in the future.

Liverpool wouldn't have allowed a player like sadio Mane to go , this guy is a pure talent that we all know that he deserves to be in a strong team like Liverpool. This transfer of Sadio Mane I just hope it shouldn't be a regret to Liverpool next season, players like Mane should be retained for long because of his outstanding performance.  I think Bayern Munich will also be a good club for him to join because he will treated fairly when it comes to payment.

Of course he was deserving his place in Liverpool before leaving. But Liverpool were ready to accept a favourable offer from Bayern Munich in the summer and they accepted the offer amounting to 41 million euros with bonuses. It is still good for Liverpool to sign a great player like Darwin Nunez. Now they have an amazing trio like Diaz-Nunez-Salah. If Nunez manages to adapt to the team in a short time I think this trio will destroy so many teams next season.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 19, 2022, 12:45:38 PM
I think that this tournament is a good opportunity for especially big teams to get well-prepared for the World Cup. They don't get very good results mostly but it still helps them see themselves by different strategies and starting eleven preferences. UEFA tried to add another competitive tournament but the Nations League hasn't been that much competitive so far. As long as big teams perform like this it can get boring in time. I would like to be wrong about it but it is the truth for now.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 19, 2022, 12:37:32 PM
Barcelona still want more than €90m for their talented midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Manchester United are hoping them to decrease their asking price by €10m or €15m to be more eager about signing him. Manchester United should be aiming some other transfers to finish also and they don't want to pay this much money. On the other hand I don't expect Barcelona to decrease the transfer fee by this much. I wonder if Manchester United will still be convinced to sign him despite this.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 19, 2022, 11:55:17 AM
Real Madrid should be one of the biggest contenders of the title according to bookmakers next season. They underestimated Real Madrid in the previous season and we all saw what happened at the end of the tournament. Bookmakers are evaluating the success probability according to the squad qualities of teams I guess. Because I saw Manchester City and PSG as they were shown as the closest teams to the title. This might stay the same for the next season too but they should at least lower the odd for Real Madrid next time.

Personally, I don’t think Real were underestimated last season. Along with PSG, Manchester City or Bayern, everyone mentioned also Real as one of the favorites to win the Champions League.
It has been proven once again that it is not enough to invest a lot of money, buy the best available players on the market and count on winning the Champions League safely.
The owners of PSG and Manchester City have been investing huge money in their clubs for years, but without success, they can't win the ultimate prize, the title in the Champions League.
The real question is what Real has and these clubs do not have?
Club tradition, football culture, faith in the club, spirit, can't be created overnight and bought with money.
The second half of the match between Real and PSG and the last 5 minutes of the match between Real and Manchester City show the most why Real has won so many times in the Champions League in recent years. Real players simply know that they are playing in the best club in the world and they believe that they can win at any moment.

People were still talking positively about Real Madrid mostly yes. But I meant that Real Madrid weren't seen like the closest team to the title by bookmakers. I already indicated the reason for that too as it is natural that they take the squad qualities into account first mostly. Real Madrid should always be seen the biggest or at least the second biggest candidate for the title by bookmakers as long as Real Madrid don't enter a very bad era. But I don't remember Real Madrid being that much bad for so many years.
