101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 16, 2019, 08:03:40 AM
There are possibilities that any coin can make it to the top no doubt. But that happens if they have the capability to dethrone the current kin g and become a king. I don't see that happening any time soon
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Holders ,be calm on: July 16, 2019, 07:59:03 AM
The latest altcoins news spreading on the internet now is altcoins investors will be disappointed ,popular crypto predictors are saying its time for people to start seeing bitcoin has the only lone wolf worth investing in and all altcoins will go nowhere.

My advice to all altcoins investors is not to panic ,these people as popular as they are can't predict the future, last bullrun of 2017 no one saw it coming and the last Almighty altcoins season of January 2018 no one ever think that will happened.
many are calm, many have held their altcoins since the market got bad and now with the bad news flying around,  you really don't expect some holders to be calm and watch their money in a weighing balance
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOSS TO BAD CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENT on: July 15, 2019, 12:17:10 PM
Since the bull run in the year 2017, a lot of people have made one or more bad moves of investment resulting in loss of their hard earned income. Some people see the rise in the price of bitcoin, ethereum and their kinds as a means of making quick cash and invested in them base on predictions of those they think to be experts in the cryptocurrency trading without doing their personal study of market trend.

A whole lots of them invested into buying and keeping of ethereum for a long term at $800/ETH and today, the hardly recover 40% of the amount invested.

Another bull run is here. People should be careful with their investment into cryptocurrency and understand the volatility of it before making an investment.

People who invested in Eth when it hit $800 are still a long way to recover but I doubt if the majority of them are still holding those Eth they bought at $800, it's going to be a very long wait for them to recover the expected wait could happen next year.
Are you not seeing if the ethereum's condition right now is different caused by the majority of exchange sites are using they're its own token? They are not using ethereum directly to raise the funds. They are not interesting use ethereum again as the main crypto to raise the funds a difficult thing when it comes to the competition with exchange site.
Your argument seems baseless to me, many exchange still use bitcoin and ethereum as the major cryptocurrency to raise funds. In the other hand, their own token trade against btc and eth and that still makes it important
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: July 15, 2019, 11:33:42 AM
I no longer think tether is safe after they recently minted about 5billion usdt out of nowhere and then burnt it. That wasn't a good News for tether as that shows a huge red flag.  I hope they can make better explanation and correct what just happened
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW connect with old private key? on: July 12, 2019, 07:03:35 AM
I wanna run the new MEWconnect app with my old wallet.
Except I need 24 word recovery phrase, which didn't come with the older wallet.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get one on the myetherwallet site.

Do I need to start a new wallet on MEWconnect?
Once there can you combine the wallets?
if you have your private key, download imtoken or trust wallet, access your wallet with the private key these two wallet have an option where you can get your mnemonic words to use on MEWconnect. I hope that works
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Changing the rules in the End of the Bounty Campaign is a form of Abuse on: July 12, 2019, 06:46:01 AM
Lately more and more bounties are not following its own rules. By changing it after the campaign was finish and its unacceptable a form of abuse, decietful, dishonest, in the beggining the stupid terms and condition which is all favor to the team. It should be stop! the bounties must be return to its previous state like 2016-2017 those abusive Bounty Managers whos practice unfair method must gain negative trust. join for the fight
just one rule at the beginning of the bounty campaign can change all the rules at anytime. So when you are on a bounty campaign and you see where it is written that "THE TEAM OR BOUNTY MANAGER HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY RULES" then know that anything can happen in the rules stated earlier
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 12, 2019, 06:41:39 AM
The most painful experience when promoting a bounty project is thinking you made a right choice by removing the signature of the project you are promoting presently for another project that you think its better and later on? Grin

The first project you are promoting get listed and doubled in value ,how will you feel? Damn! The fact is bounties are unpredictable sometimes ,no one can predict the end results
I have found my self in such case on several occasions and I still don't know why sometimes I allow myself make such mistakes. In my own thought I think it's better to stick to any project you are currently on, you can never tell what happens next
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will binance overtake the bitmex on margin trading? on: July 11, 2019, 07:20:00 AM
Well!!

Binance has launched margin trading platform, Margin trading enables traders to borrow funds to increase leverage, providing higher profit potential than traditional trading.
Still, bitmex is the leader of margin trading.

The question is, will binance overtake the leader of margin trading Bitmex?
I don't think so bitmex has already set a wide record on margin trading while binance is just starting with that feature.  There could be little bit of competition but I still don't think binance will overtake bitmex
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move on ? on: July 11, 2019, 07:16:11 AM
Is there anyone out here facing same fate in bounties like I do?
Many bounties I've promoted ends up in delays one after the other and I'm getting tired of it ,I've been promoting projects since march 2018 and so far I can't say I have something to show for it . All I have is token value in ICO/IEO price ,no listed on exchanges..
well I understand your worries but you shouldn't give up. Give it time to get better.  I have been in many projects recently but just few have been able to pay something good. But now is not the right time to give up
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: July 11, 2019, 07:01:43 AM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters
please when is the altcoin season? Am very interested to know please because I have never seen one before. And what do we do about the projects currently running?  Should we ignore them and wait for the season? Need your advice please
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 10, 2019, 07:51:22 AM
I am just a beginner of this forum, curious how to find a promising bounty campaign because of the many good projects but at the end of the campaign being a scammer,

1. Check Team
2. Check Concept
3. Check Partnership
4. Check Media Press
5. Check Sales IEO

Whether to follow the bounty must know 5 above it so that the bounty we follow does not lead Scamerr,

What is your opinion?
I think they are good choices and will help you. Personally I have other means to know a good project and a better bounty to join. With the way many projects have deceived users, its sometimes hard to know which project is good or bad
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: July 10, 2019, 07:48:36 AM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.
you should know that this is not as easy as you think it is to make such choices.  To start with no one would work to get peanuts as payment and no one wants to get big reward with less value.  The important thing to note is that there no difference from the two of them.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think advisors help new projects? on: July 10, 2019, 07:42:17 AM
We see every day a new ICO project launch, but it is very hard to take the decision, the project may be a scam, or even this new projects  not a scam no guarantee the project will succeed, the question here do you think the advisors can help new projects to success, do you think the advisors give the new projects trust?
Note that there are many successful projects without any advisors.

The purpose of this post to help others to take a decision when invest, so do not forget to vote.

I have seen many reputable projects that had known advisors but still the project failed.  I don't believe this advisors play any special role in the success of projects , if not we will not see many failed projects in the market
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: July 09, 2019, 08:42:44 AM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.
what you read is very correct and if you are new here, you will face this as well so you should get ready to let go. The bounty manager can't be held responsible if the project didn't reach the required funds to continue the project
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin is starting to weaken, is it now the right time to invest? on: July 08, 2019, 07:10:23 AM
Hello, all ..
Today I see Bitcoin experiencing a price decline of up to $ 10,075, do you think it's now a good time to invest?
please advise from Bitcoiners, thank you.
first of all, I would like to ask you if you have done any research on your own? Like try to do some technical analysis on the prices and market data? you need to have a conclusion in mind before asking to compare. If you only expect the replies you get from here, you might end up making a bigger mistakes
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Vs Altcoins on: July 08, 2019, 07:05:17 AM
Do you think that currently altcoins are not showing bullish trends as BTC do?
But i think the strongest altcoin is LTC. Its price jumped from about $30 to about four times.
Which altcoin do you favor if any?

altcoins will show bullish trends when the time comes. For now let the bitcoin price becomes more stable.  There is no need to cause fud or be in a rush to make hasty decision. I believe the market will get better
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Manipulation of cryptocurrency exchanges. on: July 05, 2019, 08:48:56 AM
After looking at a lot of crypto exchanges, have you ever thought about price manipulation in exchange? Have you ever experienced or seen it. Share your experiences and I want to hear a whisper from you. Thank you.
as much as i can tell, the cryptocurrency exchanges are not the place we see manipulations. We see this almost in every sectors including banks. So if there should be any manipulation on cryptocurrency exchanges,  this shouldn't be something to be really worried about.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 05, 2019, 08:38:30 AM
The moment you start taking decisions yourself you will make a change in your life ,some decisions will be bad and some will be good but at least you are different from those who rely on others decision. Don't invest in coins because people  around you are investing in it ,I did the same in the past even when i knew that the coin doesnt make lota sense and it doesnt end well for me ,I repeat same mistakes like thrice before I really opened my eye ,I knew what's right from the start im just wasn't bold enough to do what I felt was right.

To all readers on here please try to know yourself ,listen to your heart and learn from others but don't rely on others ,sometimes you know what's best for you but you aren't just bold enough to make your own decision ,maybe because you are too scared of failure? Failure is a big part of road to success .
you are correct.  Sometimes I see posts on the forum and I ask myself why this person can't make a research and make some decisions by themselves.  Sometimes you ask and you get so many different solution and you will end up being confused.  So you said it all and I hope some people will learn from that.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Risks Of Long-Term Hodling Alts on: July 05, 2019, 06:57:17 AM
  • You might end up holding dead coins if the project gets abandoned
  • You might miss swaps and end up holding worthless tokens
  • Delisting of coin/token and you miss the withdraw period (in case you store coins/tokens on exchanges)

Take time to follow news/updates on the coins/tokens you invested to minimize the above listed risks. Checking up their telegram/discord/social media once or twice a month will help.
you made some good points, but what update will tell us that a coin is dead so we can sell off immediately? Even when a coin is being delisted. My point is that depending onhow many projects you are following up? It will be difficult to follow up all
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: July 04, 2019, 07:59:03 AM
If we start counting all useless tokens in crypto space you will notice that most of this useless tokens are running on erc20 block chain ,many good altcoins ive came across have separate owned block chain and they are plain better, I guess the reason we have too many shit altcoins in crypto space is because of the flexibility of erc20 ,making it easy for unprofessionals to build there useless tokens.

We have some good altcoins that are running on erc20 but you will see then moving to their own block chain later on or it will be included in  their roadmap about the future swap.

The reason why I like tron block chain is the ability to get rid of fake tokens running on tron blockchain if ethereum can do this it will help a lot.

My answer is too many shitcoins are based on erc20.
Honestly speaking, Ethereum is the major problem that we have in this cryptocurrency industry, and truth must be told. This is why I so much hate Ethereum, because they are the one that gave chances to some of these scam projects. They sold innocent investors out to scammers because of the little smart contract fee they are collecting from them, and i will say that ETHEREUM is really the biggest scam as regards their smart contract.

If only they were following this products up diligently like the way Binance is doing, but no, they will rather prefer to keep approved all manners of shitcoins that keep proposing to them without doing their due diligence first. I don’t know about the chain you mentioned here and I will look into it, but I still respect the tactics that Binance in using in accepting their own IEO projects, which is why you may never see any shit project coming from Binance chain.
I believe you are one of those that always want to talk against regulation and decentralization.  Ethereum is a typical example of what decentralization is all about so why now do you hate it so much? I think you need a deep study of how ethereum works then you can rethink about you calling it a scam
