I do not know what you mean by altcoin season but I'm thinking the best time should be in the bull of bitcoin. Your brief mention of 2017 was also when bitcoin got to its ATH, so it also support my view.

I do think he/she is right, btc has been increasing and have up to 60% of all crypto market capitalization, but altcoins are not moving on the same level with bitcoin, we don't have altcoins sesson yet because only bitcoin is doing the show. unlike 2017 bounty isn't profitable anymore which is why i support the idea of doing bounty in altcoins season.

Possibly bullish market makes the perfect time for the bounties to be run that is the time the project can make more money than othe time but this is really profitable for the hunters? Don't think so unless the project immediately list their token on exchanges for trading purpose.

Do they (bounty hunter) know when altcoin season will come? I think not, they are just do the best as they think and have a bunch of hope in order to gain a lot of profit when the project has been successful to reach the target and listed on several exchange.

Taking part bounty program only rely on lucky, the potentiality thing just give a slight effect for them to get money. Because the amount of altcoin already much, a thousand altcoins on the market made several investor confuse to choose for their investment place moreover the scheme of pump and dump has been popular and the investor only choose short term investment on it.

Good bounty projects are popping up since January 2019 and I'm glad I never stopped hunting ,it will be wise if you do the same because many more are yet to come ,who knows what might happen after bitcoin hits it new all time high? Maybe altcoins season will take over

I think altcoin season would near to come now, since bitcoin and ethereum are set to bullish state and way back 2017 or at the end of that year, many altcoins pumps up and rises their prices simply because bitcoin and ethereum coin pulls them up.
