101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC charges Ripple and two executives with conducting $1.3 billion unregistered on: December 23, 2020, 03:19:14 AM

Interesting... I don't like Ripple but I hope that this will not drag down the other coins too.

IMO they deserve the charges. Ripple is not real crypto anyway. It's close to 40 cents now and we could see it under 20c!

Even you Dont like Ripple. News like this could likely pull other cryptocurrency such as bitcoin and eth, the xrp has a great impact on market price when crashes especially with a news like this. Panic button are probably already on the hoops. The price above 40cent is due to their Snapshot airdrop and now its done, I don't think people still can cling on holding when there is a fud like this happening.

I think its inevitable event to occur that Sec will pursue them since there are no clarity with their platform and coin usage. Literally they can make a platform without their tokens. So I assumed their gonna be heavy questioned about it.

That's what I don't like about news like this - that this could drag down other (legit) cryptos down.

But I just shorted Ripped at Bitmex on the March 26th Contract with 2x leverage. At least I will make some money if it goes down!

Press Release SEC Charges Ripple and Two Executives with Conducting $1.3 Billion

It took them so long but after so many years the biggest scammers in crypto will finally pay their debts.

Interesting... I don't like Ripple but I hope that this will not drag down the other coins too.

103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Poker, Pandemic, Crypto adoption on: December 23, 2020, 01:22:29 AM
Hello everyone,

Online poker traffic is growing during the covid19 pandemic. Formats like tournaments are becoming
very attractive, sites are running huge series with big prizes to win and a lot of recreational players,
beginners and traditional casino players are joining. In addition some sites added cryptocurrencies as
deposit and withdraw options.

It would be great if i find some support:

Is there any interest in:

a) poker staking? short-/longterm, cashgames/tournaments
b) rakeback deals -casinos
c) cashback deals -ewallets
d) poker coaching?

Thank you!

Hi,

The traffic is up, but mostly on MTTs and Spins where you can find a lof of casual players.
SnGs are nearly dead ($15+) and reg infested, Cash is close.

a) Show us some Sharkscope and other results.

If you don't have what to show, try your luck in GGPoker. It has build-in staking where everyone can buy/offer pieces of the action.

b) Google
c) Google
d) General coaching - Run it Once. Specific - by player pools/staking programs, as Team65, SmartSpin, etc.

Good luck
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Steve Wozniak's Blockchain Venture Reaches $950M In 13 Minutes on: December 22, 2020, 01:00:51 AM
This is the power of the Name.

I bet that most of the people bought blindly just because of Wozniak's involvement. Now things are cooling off. I may even consider if drops to x2-x3 IEO.

105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 12:09:46 AM
It is completely up to you and your goals.

If you are nervous about (possible) correction, turn some of the coins into stable coins. Or just sell it all and have a peaceful holiday.
Personally, I turned part of my coins into USDC.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: December 21, 2020, 11:31:27 PM

IMO the price shouldn't be your main buying factor. If you are after price only, you should regret that you've missed back in March - Tesla, Gold and many more.

If you want to buy with peace of mind, you have to believe in (coin, company, people), because the alternative is constant anxiety and comparison of the dollar values.

107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin End The Current Political System? on: December 21, 2020, 01:10:43 AM

'The Sovereign Individual' in China, Cambodia, most of Africa, and many more... This is delusional Cheesy

IMO no current technology is capable of ending any Political System.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Book: The Hornet's Nest. All HIs public writings/emails. Will it sell? on: December 21, 2020, 12:45:07 AM
IMO the book will not sell, at least not at $30.

I would pay up to ten bucks for such a book to satisfy my curiosity. And it has to be in Kindle or EPUB format.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2021 Bitcoin Cycle(Bullrun) vs 2017 Bitcoin Cycle(Bullrun) on: December 20, 2020, 12:56:25 AM
We share here whatever information we find relevant, so we can compare what is different this time.

IMO this can't be compared. This is what I called being result-oriented only.

The whole crypto industry is more stable now. In 2017, if you see a total daily volume of 20B you would be - wow, that's enormous! Now when I see 100B daily volume - meh, what a weak day...
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 20, 2020, 12:32:32 AM
Any thoughts on the Blazers game tonight? I plan to take a leap of faith in them and bet AH -3.5 Blazers at 3.65.

I want a little thrill as I bet on Cavaliers earlier and this seems to be wasted.

-3.5 against Denver Nuggets?? This is surely a crazy bet considering there previous match up. I'm not a fan of Blazers because they are so inconsistent despite of there good roster. I believe you should just bet during live game of this match then wait for a handicap to turn positive for a safe bet. Anyway this is basketball and no one knows what will happened. Maybe Melo make some magic.

I was after the high odds here, hoping for a surprise.

And watching the game right now, definitely miss it! Cheesy Nuggets totally dominates the game for Q1 and Q2 and the current odds for them are 1.02 :|

I understand that, Sometimes I do that if I'm desperate to bet with high odds. I usually pick a random match and choose high odds BTW nuggets dominated the game as I predicted. Even +30 for Blazers is not sufficient to win the match. I hope that you bet only what you can afford to lose.

Real talk, It's sucks to watch a game if you bet on the losing side. I always grab the remote and turn to different channel then come back when the match is near to end.   Cheesy:D

Yep, My bets are completely reasonable and I don't have any problems losing a few in a row. One of the skills I learned more than 15 years ago was proper bankroll management.

Today I will try a surprise with AH -2 Hawks at 2.50

IMO it's more fun to watch and expect the surprise D:

111  Economy / Auctions / Re: Donation auction - the winnet gets 12 COVID related domains! on: December 20, 2020, 12:25:14 AM
Bump,

Donate some coins for a cause of your choice and get those domains FOR FREE!

As it seems, there will be a third lockdown in European Union + the UK. This is a chance to build something related on a great domain.

114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 18, 2020, 05:02:35 AM
I do rely on odds. IMO the markets on exchanges are perfectly balanced as if they are not, somebody will exploit them.

At the same time, I'm looking for prone to exploit slow bookies during odds movement. It's a game of cat and mouse.
115  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoRatio.net - cryptocurrency market and charts on: December 18, 2020, 02:33:52 AM
What API are you using for the prices?

I like how simplified is Cryptoratio on desktop, but the site is awful on mobile. Did you test it on mobile? The whole price table is with a horizontal scroll!
116  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: December 18, 2020, 01:39:23 AM
After the past 24 hours, I find 2021 looking better than ever Cheesy
New ATH, stable markets, good perspectives - what else should we want!

IMO we will see Bitcoin at $30 000+ and Ether at $1000+

... then I will give the winner these domains FOR FREE:

covidlockdown.com

covid-isolation.com
covidisolation.com

101.health

Starting bid: 0.001 BTC
Bid increment: 0.0001 BTC

Ends: 72 hours after the last bid

Let me repeat: You are bidding how much you WILL DONATE, e.g. I'm not getting anything, you are not going to send me anything!

119  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WARNING] Bustabit phising site! DON'T google "bustabit" !!! on: December 17, 2020, 03:12:59 AM
I already report it to Namecheap. It should be down very soon.

What is more interesting is many people are clicking blindly and how much money those arsholes are making that they can afford to pay for Google Ads.

BTW if you want to kickback, go to Google and click on the AD and then close the site. It costs them nearly a dollar per click.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold Debate Settled on: December 17, 2020, 02:56:23 AM
Both are limited, but while Bitcoin could evolve, Gold could just be buried deeper and deeper.

Just cryptocurrencies are the gold of the 1800s. In a generation or two, everybody will accept it as something normal to daily life as we now accept the internet. My son still doesn't believe me that I didn't have my own laptop at 4 Cheesy
