I am not crying about crypto even though I have lots of them.
The reason is simple: the dump is temporary, we will see another round of growth sooner or later.

You might lose money if you trade frequently, but you will definitely make money if you can hold any legit coin for more than 3 years.

Of course it is very sad to observe such picture. And all who has coins it would be desirable that the auction on a coin was started over again. But it only desire of people. It is bad that the developer the creator caught silence and is silent. It is a pity. It is just like most of other coins. What is different is the devs give up at the early stage. In the end, only the best projects will survive and the community get good reward. |

The market is slowly recovering.
When more and more people realize that, they will rush into it, and the price will skyrocket again.

Ill probably wait for it to hit its bottom, and then buy a little.
I believe it hit its bottom during February. It went dip again last month but never touched the Feb bottom. It is very possible that it is now recovering. |

If one were to buy and hold solid avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?
If you get in bitcoin or ethereum now with 10k dollar, it is likely that you will make 10x profit in 2019. For most altcoins, they will die sooner or later, but you can make more money if you are lucky enough. |

ICOs will become more reasonable in 2018.
In 2017, almost all ICOs are selling well, easily raising more than 20 million dollars.
It won't happen in 2018. Investors are more savvy now.

Unfortunately your prediction was right. I believe lots of investors have cut loss and left crypto. How I wish I was back to the date you posted this post. |
