So there is under 5000 bitstar coins for sale on Bittrex. Interesting....
Seems a lot of people are holding on the news and staking.
What target price do people have in mind when the new features come out, based on the coin supply?
over 2k should be easily manageable. if an investor is satisfied about the lottery and the new wallet features... and enjoys the community. we might be in for a rollercoaster ride. at what height the ending platform will be remains to be seen. cannot speculate too much about the price now. price is not most important at this point, services/adoption are. guess this is a longterm hold.

seems wtman was/is in need of some btc. so all his posts are here in order to selloff his bits and get btc. probably he sold at a loss as well.
Right. I am selling at a loss but not because I am in need of btc. I'm selling because I want to cut my losses and move on. Good for you. Please do move on if your 131k is being eaten and dont return. Thank you. Dont come cry/fud in here when bits is at 2k or beyond. Bye now.

you are not the only one that invested heavily in this coin.

dont like the way this thread is going though.

Can we please please please not turn this into one of those other coin threads with people arguing and talking trash to each other. This is a good coin, good community. I'm so sick of it on other coins and really don't want it here.
Why keep a good community in the dark by being so secretive? I smell something foul. Lets assume dev has built something, but he hasnt told anyone about it yet so what if he already dumped his bitstar and simply takes what he built on to another coin instead of Bitstar? If you want a good community, you don't hide things like this. It only makes us suspicious nah, that is the way how YOU think ( but i can understand it from other coins experience perspective ).... i will just patiently wait. secretive is fine, as long as it works out in the end.

lmao on all this negativity. wow.
patience is hard, isnt it boys. i think cryptodevil pointed in a direction. you all know what is coming, just to blind to see it.
moo to you.
There are just promises of "something" coming up, we don't even know what is coming up. That is all I am asking. Tell us what is coming up i think cryptodevil is part of the team. not 100% sure, about 90%. if you read his messages carefully then there is some kind of direct exchange/trade coming up in the wallet. wonder how this new communication-way is going to work out.

No they don't.
They can speculate what it is but it could be any number of things to bring non-crypto people in.
non crypto people, so people who dont own crypto, get in, means that its fiat related? like an exchange/trade?

I will ask him on IRC. anyways the second update is coming very soon, so it's not like you have long left to figure it out by yourself.
Another ninja-launch? I reckon should hire a marketing / PR person into their dev team. yes, on that i +1 On this, I posted I am a marketing/comms person by trade and would put some ideas forward. A couple of points: 1. I think twitter and facebook could be a lot better and more active. The original post could also be updated a lot better as well as the website. 2. I think one of the biggest problems coins have these days is a lack of credibility. If you look how share IPOs are offered, there is always a prospectus that outlines company vision, key players in the business and future projects. I feel that Bits could benefit from something similar. We need to give investors a reason to invest and clear picture of what we are trying to achieve and who is involved. It would be very easy to market this coin. We could do facebook advertising, google adwords, media releases and many many other things however the key is what is in it for an investor. We need to offer something that is tangible and real world and market that as our point of difference. I noticed on another coin that someone was trying to sell something and advertised it in the forum. Is there a way a marketplace could be built into the wallet? We already have the payment system, now we need the product. yes, a market place can be build into a wallet, just like a lottery can as well

maybe the dev thought that it isnt an interesting feature and just a nice to have.
|
|
|
ah yes, thats a valid explanation
|
|
|
i think because the features are competing with some upcoming features on other coins/doesnt want get copied so that he isnt first with something. something like that. only dev can answer. I'll call bullshit on that. Sounds like one would say that if there's nothing good coming up. Don't release the source code, but show us what is coming up. i guess you have to wait. i cannot say more.

coin is dead unless you show us something dev. If you got something, why cant you show it? Anonymity feature is nothing special anymore
and so the fud begins... its always the same. people impatient, people telling coin is dead, fake, hyped, etc etc etc... i know this dev is working hard and also other people ( unrelated to dev team ) are working on some things for this coin. if you are not happy about the coin, dump it and move on.

re:? who is building this? very nice i may not tell yet

probably exchanges read the alert messages and take the markets offline as a preventive measure.
normal behavior.
