101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: May 06, 2020, 10:08:30 AM
If I hire a developer to create a fork of Bitcoin with a small premine. How do I make sure I get my premine and that the developer hasn't ripped me off. Is there a way to know for sure that I have received my premine? What would be the steps when launching the network to verify the developer hasn't done anything 'tricky'? Thanks!

If you are not a developer, don't even try!

Why because you will end up with a worthless coin, because the chain will have bugs, will need updates, wallet upgrades.

Even he/she won't trick you, who will make all this after you launch the coin?

There is many people on Discord asking for invites.

Hmmm strange...  Maybe now they are, last time I posted on discord ,last week or so, that I have available invites and no one PMed me. From what I see now way more people are trying to give invites, than asking.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Developer for hire, wallet compiles, coin forks etc on: May 02, 2020, 01:48:48 PM
Available to work

How much it will cost me to fork a coin from github? I have an idea but I am not a developer, at least not a skilled C one.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SHARD - Scalable POS Blockchain with Staking Exchange & Multi-Coin Wallet on: May 02, 2020, 01:45:01 PM

Well I don't know if is a scam or not, but I can tell is something fishy about this project. Anyway, you have revealed some good points, tho.
Even I hold a bag of coins, unfortunately the team/devs doesn't do much for the early investors like me. They say only that they have no money on Discord. They don't care about listing the coin on any exchange and I also don't see any activity on here or social media. One thing is sure, I've lost money with this project and I don't see much development, only promises like mobile wallet and their own exchange. I already moved on.

Moved on also even if I bought this shitcoin at 500+ sats on cryptobridge back in the days. I just warn people to stay away. They will end up paying a lot of money ($0.4) for a worthless coin.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SHARD - Scalable POS Blockchain with Staking Exchange & Multi-Coin Wallet on: May 01, 2020, 04:55:38 AM

We have no interest in listing on exchanges that only focus on getting as many coins listing as possible for a listing fee and pumping volume, rather then growing their platforms user base, use and brand for the future.

These exchanges bring zero benefit to Shard, apart from providing those that want to sell a way to sell more easily than on Crypto Bridge in the short term. This is why the team is currently working with a wide range of exchanges on building lasting partnerships, however this is not an overnight task.

Also if you have read our latest release regarding the Quantum Project you will find that we are looking at solutions to get additional funding for the Shard Quantum project as well as other Shard related things such as additional exchange listings.

They don't want to list it because after more than 2 years they are still selling coins for 0.00010000 a piece here https://buy.shardcoin.io/

Yes this is 100% Scam. Stay away!

I agree with airat9000 there are few signs where you need to look before making false acusations:

-OP starter: Last Active:   April 22, 2020, 10:10:54 AM;
-thread have a good bunch of posts (in comparison with other projects) for a 8 months old thread;
-https://github.com/fortune1dev last commit was on April 13, 2020.

Looks like the coin is still alive for me.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: May 01, 2020, 04:30:51 AM

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 05, 2020, 09:04:33 PM
I have completed the guide on How to install and connect your local wallet to your VPS.

I hope this will be helpful/more helpful for Idena newcomers.

Good job dude! I just merited you for the effort, but I have low sMerits, maybe higher ranks will give more for that post. Cheers!

No bitcointalk newbie accounts will get Invitation for Idena.
You have to thank trolls and timewasters for that.

You can't put every newbie in the same pot, maybe some are good people. Just invite them on discord and test them before you give your code.

Hi , i offer my free services to translate idena from English to Arabic , also i have some questions in mind while it is POPs which leaded and controlled by human hands\scenes unlike machines\bots ..
what is the condition and requirement needed for translating this project ?
why it is very difficult to get an invitation code ?
What the purpose of the invite-system ? and is it against the foundation of POP if proven that client is a real person\human ?
Thanks

Go to their Discord there is a bounty for this ongoing. Cheers!

You're welcome!

This is why I want to make a video tutorial for you and to help other newcomers to Idena.

I will try both software and see which one will fit my need and is easier to use for the tutorial.

You can make an easy step-by-step tutorial wising this app: https://www.iorad.com/. Either way, I am waiting for it and congrats for the initiative.

110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SHARD - Scalable POS Blockchain with Staking Exchange & Multi-Coin Wallet on: February 18, 2020, 08:34:36 AM
I want to sell 122500 shard for 1500 sats each. Or the hole lot for 1.5 BTC
PM me if you are interested.
Escrow only from here or Bitrated.

Don't take me wrong but where did you got that number 1500 satoshi for 1 Shard?  Smiley

If you are interested I can offer 500 per coin, since I remember on CB was somewhere around this number before they closed the doors.

If you go to shardcoin website you will see that the price is 5000 sats.
My 1500 is a more realistic price and is also the price I bought the coins back in the days - more or less -
Sorry but I can't sell them under 1200-1300 sats each.

With these days Bitcoin price, I don't think you will sell them for that amount of money.

My offer is still standing.

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEST DIVIDEND CRYPTO's to invest in... on: October 03, 2019, 11:40:07 AM
There are lots of coins for dividend. But now I am holding Vite which is good and one more coin vx(exchange coin of Vite). They don't give too much dividend but its fine. And I also hold some eos based token that also give some dividend.

You can also try Binance lending. They give pretty good interest on many top coins.

Hello,
I have one question.. There are a lot of products for getting thinner, slimmer etc. But I need to be sure.
Maybe you tried some food supplements and can share your thoughts?
My goal is to get thin without sports.

Drink a lot of green tea every day. You will get hungry. But don`t increase your food consumption.

Green tea, black tea is a good idea. But don't drink it later at evening as it contains a lot of caffeine, especially the black one.
115  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting thin and lose fat on: September 26, 2019, 11:17:43 AM
There's a way. A secret one.
Called 'deficit of calories'. Eat less, burn more calories. Everything else is marketing.

There is no secret, this was discussed in the first posts of this thread.  Tongue
116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Different ways to increase your crypto-balance on: September 24, 2019, 09:01:25 AM
If you struggle to choose any of them, try both of them.

What are these blockchain games that you have played and you have started to earn some crypto? is the reward that they give is a known crypto or sort of made by them?

At the end of it, do the thing that you are more comfortable with.
I've tried many different games for the last couple of years. Some gave me a solid amount of profit, some took it from me unfortunately.

People are still sceptical about blockchain games, well... I don't.

All I need to start playing serious is time which I don't have, and then I'm pretty sure I'll start earning atleast 400$ simply by playing.
What are those games? let those skeptics have their way and focus on what you do.

$400 seems to be a decent amount just for playing, could you tell us more about this game and procedures?

I am also eager to know how much time did you invested to gain $400 in real money.
117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Different ways to increase your crypto-balance on: September 23, 2019, 09:08:28 AM
Not so long ago, approximately at June, I got really tired of trying to earn crypto on price changes and started seeking for something new.

Turnes out there are plenty of ways to do it, but not really much for regular people who have a little bit of crypto.
I selected the two that I liked the most: crypto casinos and blockchain games.

First one requires KYC most of the time which sucks.
Blockchain games in turn don’t require any identification but you can’t earn much there either. I have fun playing games but I tend to gamble
more which is way less interesting and  entertaining.

Gambling or games? What would you guys choose and why? I’d also liked to hear where do you guys gamble or what you play currently.

First we need to know if you mean, earning more crypto in a free way or by investing.
On the first case, the good way to earn is trough airdrops, bounties and giveaways, don't loose time with faucets.
On the second case, there are many ways: investing in crypto that gives you interest, buying low- selling high, mining, etc.

I wouldn't play at casino because you will risk to loose all, no one have made money playing casino. Casino you play for fun when you have enough money in your account that you can say: "I afford to lose $1000 at the casino".
118  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting thin and lose fat on: September 19, 2019, 07:04:17 AM
Easier said than done. For example, I drink more than 3 litres of water each day.
The average water that we have to fill our body is just around 2 liters a day and you're doing it more than that which isn't harmful.

It's better to have more water than to have less. So what do you say about the food supplement? you won't take them anymore?

I agree over your statement that better more than less water but don't exaggerate because over-hydration can cause other problems. My personal doctor said, drink as much water as your body is asking for, not more, not less. So the amount of water you drink is dependent of your life style.
I thought that too much water would also be fine.

Thanks for that insider about overhydration isn't also good to our body.

Some people just can't lose any weight even if they a lot of fat. I don't why but I cant get any thinner
Maybe you are doing it wrong. There's a process on getting slimmer and what are the things that you have been doing to lose weight?

Yeah, I know I've read an article somewhere that a women died due to overhydratation. You can google for it.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebalancing Portfolio on: September 18, 2019, 12:17:41 PM
Promising coins are appearing every day, but only some of them are getting successful. Crypto is very unpredictable, because you can invest in 100 coins and only two or three will gain profit. I gave up on this promising investments and switched to main crypto currencies like BTC or ETH.

If you did switched to BTC in the beginning of 2018 you are good. Switching to top ones from low cap coins is easy now because even the top ones are away from their ath. The good thing about this is that top coins have more liquidity - the bad thing is that top coins can't make you x1000 gains from this point.
