Running two GekkeoScience hubs here with 6 newpacs each @650 MHz, no problem at all (lot of fans on them to cool). Tried several hubs, none of them where able to do this.
Just out of curiosity, are you running them on windows 10? I couldn't get them to stop auto tuning down.

So I tried my first NiceHash rental last night and it was queued up. I checked it this morning, and it seems like although not complete, it spiked then zeroed out. Is this normal, and are my settings correct? I did test the pool first and had to move the port to 4334. Here is an image of my portal: https://s1065.photobucket.com/user/vickersja/media/NHRental.png.htmlI know it worked since it does have stats on the CKSolo reporting page, but it seems to have stopped. Is it because other orders came in after me with a greater price, pushing me down? I think i said earlier that NH is a bit less stable. Their Hashrate does fluctuate more than MRR. The best thing to do is buy the "fixed option". Good luck! So this is normal though, correct? I didn't mess anything up?

So a couple of questions for everyone here before I try... I am thinking of purchasing the gekkoscience hub science I plan on running four miners. First is this the best price for money or does someone have another hub to recommend that would be cheaper since I do not plan on adding more than 4. Second, if I purchase a gekkoscience hub would I be able to use my old BFL 12 V 10 A power supply? I'm a little afraid of adding the extra amperage unless someone assures me it's ok to do as I don't know the protections in the gekkoscience hub. Thanks, everyone! Also if anyone is looking to sell a miner or a hub PM me.
Although I am probably the last person who should be giving advice on the GekkeScience products (horrible luck) - I found 2 hubs to work. The GekkoScience hub and the Plugable USB 2.0 7-Port High Speed Charging Hub with 60W Power Adapter. Due to capacitor spacing, I believe you can only run 3 overclocked GekkoScience miners, not 4. But it does work and good spacing for airflow. Only issue I had with that unit was it became top heavy since the port itself it light. I had to weigh it down.

Appreciate the feedback guys. I am sure I overpaid. But wanted to get some experience in renting first - was going for ease of use. Happy to report everything appears to be fine so far.

I will certainly look into MiningRigRentals or NiceHash next time. Thanks for the guidance.

Never tried a rental service, but just ordered a 53TH for 24 hours on Ebay to test it out.

Casino enabled! Let's see if problem is fixed now Seems like a good concept but slots and plinko is not working yet which I love the most in gambling casino's anyways this is fun and I really like it . Looking forward for slots and plink to came back . my brother played plinko there and won 400 sin with 100 sin bet. As of now, having trouble surviving for atleast 3 days and get rewards. All deaths of my character is because of dehydration. All water level reached 0 and died because of getting thirsty. Before they have water item which gives you 1000 water but haven't seen it again. I think it's water bottle item. please understand the survival process should not be easy, we already have huge "federal debt" (you can see in main page) that means almost all players win and very few of them lose. What does that mean? -14368 SIN, -0.09% SIN donation address: SUdyoZvPuJThQfUzeV53D7innwBX5TtuaA Like, you are 14K SIN in the whole?

Although if you cannot get water from a creek, you suck at surviving. lol

I am a bit old fashioned and like to hold something in my hand when reading - not an e reader or anything like that. I did a search for crypto currently print magazines, but couldn't find any. Doubt they exist.

I will keep trying to find a workaround that suits everyone.

Okay thanks. The pool switches within 1 second to 1 million diff, but it appears to not even recognise that. That means I'll have to change the minimum diff across the pool to 500k as well. Will restart it shortly with that change. I apologise to all the smaller miners for doing this, but rentals are by far the bulk of the hashes hitting the pool now.
When the renter's give up though or go broke us little guys would still be around. I don't think I can keep my miners here now as I cannot keep track of the hashrate of them at 500k diff they just sit there with 0 showing now sad times for us small guys "workername": "", "hashrate1m": "0", "hashrate5m": "0", "hashrate1hr": "1.96G", "hashrate1d": "363G", "hashrate7d": "440G", "lastshare": 1585748897, "shares": 19597657034, "bestshare": 81953418.32696119, "bestever": 36824123071 Very strange. I am just running a tuned-down Antminer S7-LN and my stats are showing fine. Wonder why the difference? If i stay uninfected I get to buy myself another one to add to the six I already have. Also, I'm unsure how long this will go and what the effects of a vaccine introduced by theymos later in the day will be and how it will act. At the time of me noticing names becoming uninfected I will freeze the list and a draw will be made regardless of being full. If there is no winner from the last two digits we'll move left one digit through the hash and that will be our winner and so on. Ex. 00000000000000000003026e9079514eafe5ed774b588e7c492279d82ded699d (current block) if no 99 then the next winner would be 69, then 26 and so on until we have a winner.
This is spreading very fast. Who isn't washing their hands?

Sold - no longer available. Putting my GekkoScience Terminus R606 up for sale. Including 8amp barrel power supply and usb cord to PC. Asking $250 OBO and shipping is included. Ill periodically check this thread to see what the best offer is. I am having an issue keeping it from auto-tuning down. Apparently it is a Windows 10 issue based on the support thread. Not inclined to learn a new OS. I would rather put my old S7-LN on the solo pool. Stryfe has offered to escrow. I will cover the fee. Any questions, just ask. Thanks. I'll be restarting the pool shortly with some updates, with the 4334 port to return as a highdiff port, set to 1 million. Downtime should be minimal. Additionally, as I'd been planning for a while with the halving, the fee will unfortunately be increased to 2%.
I don't think any reasonable person will complain about that. 2% to mine solo - pay nothing unless we are the lucky winner.
