My early one may have been eaten up as well, it appeared along with another one when the ratio was 1.1, but now it has disappeared. Edit: scratch that, it's now there ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

As far as gambling goes, this one in particular is quite good. I've doubled my money on the first round by putting money in several times. You can still lose, but over half of the players are winners with 20%.

Sorry if I sound dumb but I don't understand. I send in my BTC and then what happens?
How is this a pyramid?
You send in your money, people send in money after in order to pay you back plus the 20% extra. That 20% extra begins adding up over time, meaning it takes longer for someone to get paid out. Eventually some people will not get paid back because the game ends. This is the type of thing Bernie Madoff did, except he scammed people into it without telling them what was going on.

I like 1.2 as well, enough of a reward while keeping the gap from growing too large.

Will the next round start immediately after this one ends?

You would be correct if that was the start of the game. However, the game has been running, and as such there has been more and more of a gap growing. Try doing the math one deposit at a time and you'll see.
And no, I was paid this morning, long after the site went up. I was paid off by the person that deposited the 6 BTC.
Edit: Think of it this way, when the first person with the 1.0BTC deposited their money, they were not the next in line to get paid, correct? There were people behind him that had yet to receive payment due to the game running so long. That means the 2.0 BTC went towards paying off the people before him.

Looks correct. The 6 btc went towards paying off the earlier people, there's that much of a btc gap now. Add up every deposit, then subtract all the people paid so far and you will have less BTC than required to pay off the next person.

500 Internal Server error at the moment, though the page will occasionally come up with no bets in place.

Looks very nice! Might I suggest showing the current balance of the pool?

A better way of enforcing the no early bets rule is to have a Google Docs document or spreadsheet where you will post the address.

I enjoy the Ponzi schemes and other games available, plus they generate good interest in Bitcoin. They create a use for the currency beyond the few businesses that accept BTC. That being said, I agree 100% with creating a separate section for these as it can be difficult to find non-game threads in this board.

You have the start time set to be 18:00 GMT, however you also have it set to start at 2:00 EST. 18:00 GMT is NOT 2:00 EST, I believe you meant EDT which is daylight savings.
