Or you can buy it yourself for 5k  - https://lamassu.is/

This is most likely a scam.

5K + 1K delivery in 4 months vs delivery in 15 days

Legit company vs newbie (possible scammer) who want´s 3,000 USD more then retail price

Heligt skit!  Grin

Nu kommer alla stora elektronikföretag inom kort vara tvungna att ta emot bitcoins för att vara med och slåss om hardcore kunderna.

Spoondoodles or whatever their name is has said they don't plan to mine, other than 24 hours of burn in testing which they donate to charity.

Any manufacturer that mines has an inherent conflict of interest with its customers especially when it can delay shipment (and keep mining for itself) without any real consequences.

Let's face facts here.  Conflict or not, every manufacturer mines with their own equipment.  This is no secret.  I'm pretty sure even BitMain has a farm of some sort.

I don't think they've denied it. In fact I think they've been open about it. "Spoondoodles" denies it.

While I don't feel very comfortable jumping into a competitor thread, I do would like to emphasize that we are committed to what we have have said before - none of our client units will be used for self-mining, beyond a standard burn-in test, with resulting proceeds will be publicly donated to a charity. Moreover, these clients who decide to use our upcoming hosted plan, will have the burn-in proceeds going immediately to their own set-up wallets.

This is part of company ethos, insisted by our investors and one of the reasons that I personally have joined them in the first place. We are (still) a start-up sized team, so any generated BTC during testing, tuning, etc... are completely transparent and being accounted in for the future charity proceeds.

But you do have a farm, just not clients units?

111  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: March 23, 2014, 12:47:06 PM
MineForeman.com: Any plans of including the A1 Coincraft/Chinese A1 in minepeon? I got a Dragon miner and i know that a lot of people who own them would love to throw out the useless software that´s on the included Pi.

If I recall from looking at cgminer release notes that in 4.2 you can control it instead of using their modified version of cgminer.  I think i have all the drivers/binaries from the dd I did of the original OS.  When my next two show up I was going to test it.  Also wanted a blank slate to setup the LCD on the front.

That would be awesome, please post your results when you´ve tried  Smiley

Hade nästan alla mina coins (ca 30) hos Mtgox.  Cry
Skall man bara inse att de är borta eller går det att kämpa på något sätt?

If the BitSafe is 50-60 USD i think they will sell like condoms on Mardi Gras  Grin
BFL don´t give a shit about the community, it´s all about cold hard cash for them.

I will probably order/pre-order one, even if i know it´s dumb... because my mom and dad can´t handle a Android with special apps.
They need something easy, and i think BitSafe might be the solution.

Your parents can't handle an Android app, yet they are competent enough to complete a bitcoin transaction on a standalone device? Doesn't make sense. Do your parents actually use bitcoin, or are you just imagining a happy, bright future where they use bitcoin at the market and gas station?

Mom buys coffee with Bitcoins every morning, except on the weekends  Grin
So yeah, they use Bitcoin. Right now i´ve bought a cheap Android (Samsung), installed Mycelium etc but they complain it´s to "techy".

I like it. I want one. I think Bitcoin needs a non-geek safe wallet for mass adoption. I don't trust my Android phone as Google already lifted my data off that!

But like everyone else says, they've destroyed their credibility in this community, so how do we trust them with our BTC. Undecided

you can keep all those bitcoins you mined on it with the hardware they have'nt shipped you yet Smiley

I know they´re terrible at deliver hashing hardware  Wink
but this is a hardware wallet, there´s no loss if they ship it "2 weeks" later then promised.

There is if no shipment at all

And do you really trust your btc with their products?

I mean they're the most incompetent company in the history of bitcoin...... well just a foot behind MtGox.

Maybe you guys are right  Sad
I just want a easy, safe way to bring some bit coins with me for small time shopping without have to sip out my android phone and mess with apps, qr codes etc

Anyone, besides me, that is excited about tis piece of hardware?
I know Trezor is around, but it´s to techy for the general population.

I would love to hear a experienced guess on estimated price?
