Could you at least collaborate on what you need the 2.3 btc for?
Bills. But he's allowing you to pay via moneygram so you can chargeback. Like I said, I think the guys legit and I would have helped him out but money gram was giving me a hard time so I gave up.

500-550 early june,
My thoughts too. That'll restore confidence enough that late June early July has a decent uptrend, with August reaching a decent value of about 800. Even if we hit 1000, it'll drop to 900 before we can break that psychological barrier.

You should demand that Kumala, the owner of cryptosocks removes the IPOflag in this CPW security, it started out without the shares beeing locked in with the IPOflag and thats what people bought into, a share that should be possible to trade not something the issuers at will can lock people into with no way to sell there positions when they like.
He claims they need to first prove that the dividends they pay are coming from the businesses income and no other means. The owners are unresponsive and have given up trying to do anything about it either. That's a good point though, if everyone with shares starts kicking up a fuss, multiple mails daily, surely he will lift the IPO or at least use the money that they froze to even distribute to the investors. That's exactly why I'm trying to sell cheap, Cryptostocks is a total joke and it's laughable way at running such a platform gave me my next business idea, hopefully I can get that underway soon. Somewhere like Cryptostocks but with actual securities, responsive staff and proper verification, as in a registered business with the government rather than pay a BTC scam a few hundred and then have cryptostocks be like 'oh we take no responsibility for those matters' And I think you mean CRW? CPW still have another 20 mill shares before they reach their goal. Did they plan on allowing the I.P.O to be lifted early?

Anyway for anyone wondering:
1. You get control of my pool account (we switch your email) because of this trust is required on the forum. NOT from any other third party site (like localbitcoins, etc) 2. You get daily (hourly, really) payouts 3. I want you to pay for the MG/WU with credit card so you're protected
Though im pretty sure its time to throw in the towel on this deal, I just don't know anyone I trust enough to go through with this
I told you I would try again tomorrow since you allowed the money gram thing, but I don't use WU and MG is giving me hassle and its 4.00am.

Price on June 1st? Price on June 8th? (first 7 days in June)
Price on the last day of June?
Speculate how you please! I'm going to say we see 500-600 early June, with a stable uptrend towards the end powering July, which we will see $800/coin in.
Pure speculation; anything can happen.

If you accept escrow and can ship to the UK I will take this Yeah, I'll send 0.15 in escrow (consider extra a tip) for reasonably timed shipping to the UK. Nice canvas

There are many escrows and I am sure some can hold collateral too, just gotta ask them. - Escrow listAlso terms must be clear. Like you could make a new bitcoin address for receiving the payment. If the payment is not on that address by this date .. the collateral will be released to .. But I am sure an experienced escrow would know that better than me. Never seen that list before, thank you.

First thing an official third party collateral collector should know is that an ID is worthless.
Year ago (when I was still pretty new to btc, naive, etc.) I gave some 1 BTC loans (to -by that time- "very trusted" people in bitcoin poker community) that went missing. Got all their information. But what am I going to do... fly to USA and beat them up? Try to sue them internationally? I am still considering to spam all their facebook friends about it, but I can't do much more than that.
It's great you don't want to hide your identity. But it doesn't give you more trust.
Yes, but I believe they should provide it in case they ever have to middle man a large deal. If I'm sending you 10K I want to know who you are, I learnt my lesson with coinpal. Had the guy trying to rip people off not been stupid enough to leave a trail no one would have gotten anything from it. I understand the trust thing, but it's just a reassurance thing that I think all people interested in being middle men should have to do.

Vod,
What I decided to offer is control of the pool account, so I cant change it. While this isn't completely fool proof, I think it should be sufficient along with the daily payouts.
And thanks for helpin out the noobs, While you may have killed my chances for getting the loan, I still appreciate the effort in protecting people. I just wish you had protected ME when i got scammed =PPP
Rapeghost, I believe if you can change the address once, you can change it more than once. It's not collateral. I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me. I spend a lot of time on these forums, and to be honest as always, the fight in me is slowly dying. I do what I do for personal financial reasons - to keep the bitcoin price high and protect my stash. But each day I understand more how little my actions help - most of the price changes come from people who haven't even read this forum, and even more than that from people who can't understand the language I write in! The only thing that keeps me going is my distaste of scammers. Ryan, I'm not interested in being the middle man in a "relatively" complicated deal and for mere bitcents. Sorry. Yeah, I realised what you just said before we went through with it. Sorry 'rapeghost' no can do.

CRW are in a grey area at the moment, willing to sell 13'000 shares (worth 13BTC at the time of purchase) for 2.5BTC for those hopefuls out there.
CPW are legit. Bi-daily dividends on Crypto stocks, I own 6 Million (worth 6BTC at time of purchase - still are) will sell for 3BTC.

Still takes time though. You've been registered for less than a month ...
Yeah true. I was only offering if no one else would do it, or at least trying to get something official going even if I was not one of the third party. I've lurked for about 6 months and have been involved in Crypto for a lot longer. I was just more of a buy/hold/sell before crash guy until I started getting involved on here actively. I'm not new to coin in any means, but obviously I understand where you are coming from. Like I said at no point do I try to hide who I am, I'll provide a passport snap and address proof to anyone who asks (passport ID is blacked out as well as other info, and photo has a small cross through it and obviously I wrote 'cant be used as formal ID' on it. Mainly I just think we should have a official third party here for escrowing deals, I'd be happy to start loaning if there was an official third party as at least there are a few people here you can trust. So you'd provide your passport as ID, but black out everything? ID is worthless unless the scammed takes you to court, which hasn't happened yet. Don't worry yourself over this - this forum has escrow agents - the economy is flowing nicely. No, I will send you the passport just now to show you what I mean. My name age/address etc are all there. just the actual passport no: is blacked out, and you can still see about 80% of my face
|
|

I don't need the money but I'll take .02 and pay back 0.025 in 6 hours just to start gaining some trust around here.
That will get you negative trust. Read the stickies. Will do

Ryan,
I'd be more than happy to use escrow. However, you do understand how this loan works right? I'd change my miner payout address to yours (well, the escrow) and you'd recieve my miner output daily.
I just want to make sure you understand exactly whats going on before you get involved.
Ryan, please read the first two posts here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0What rapeghost is proposing is not collateral. At any time he can change the payout address back. Your collateral is not "in-hand". I was going to ask you to third party it. As in accept the collateral he has to offer, I send you the BTC. Once both received you would then send to me, and send to him. I'd cash his collateral straight away back in to BTC. (It would need to be worth 115% of whatever I loan) then when I receive payment in full, I could provide him with his collateral or in form of the current market value of RIC (whether it lowered or the exact amount in $ value if it raised) Risky for him more so than me as long as there is a third party as I know as soon as I send my 2.3BTC, I will be getting 115% in return or else I don't loan. From my understanding that would work as long as you middle manned?

The purpose of the loan is capitalize on an investment opportunity, that I feel has potential for future growth.
Full disclosure is important. What investment opportunity? How does it make returns? I wish to invest in CoinPal, an up and coming Exchange that is currently in the IPO phase, it's experiencing a bit of turbulence due to issues with the Site Developer but has disbursed dividends (3 to date) and I believe the site's owner is legitimate. I feel it's a great opportunity, and would like to buy shares now before they get snapped up now. I can do this. Provide an address and i'll send .02 to be repaid as .024 in 2 days. I don't need the money but I'll take .02 and pay back 0.025 in 6 hours just to start gaining some trust around here.

DO NOT INVEST IN COINPAL PLEASE. They are a month late from launching, wont provide evidence of an exchange, when I invested and bought 70K shares, owner suddenly gets new mining gear and promises dividends of 5x more, never happens. Dont waste your money.

I'm interested? What collateral have you got, we can use a trusted third party escrow if you don't trust me personally.
Can provide the whole amount you are asking for - maybe more if you have more collateral worth 115% of my loan to you.

I actually bothered to email HMRC rather than believe the silly conclusions by news articles and you apparently pay capital gains tax on them, there are no other rules regarding Bitcoin in that area so you can easily trade over the internet with Bitcoin if you want to. So if I bought a new computer from Bitcoinstore for example with just Bitcoins the UK and German government as well wouldn't give a crap about that, but if I sold them past the £9,000 or so tax threshold I'd have to pay tax on it.
The only difficult thing is checking out how much you need to pay for that year based on what you earn when you sell.
Places like localbitcoins will now give you a log of transactions, that will help you with tax massively. If you are a trader anyway. Shows what you bought for, then sold for. Of course if you buy other ways, like meet strangers and buy in cash they cant prove anything and have to take your word but tax evasion is a serious crime.
