MMM is a declared Ponzi run by a guy named Sergei Mavrodi. In 1990 he made a disruption in Russian economy. According to Wikipedia from 5 to 40 million people lost up to $10 billion. Then he was jailed, but after coming out he made two more Ponzi MMM-2011 & MMM-2012. Both have failed. Currently he is running MMM Global which is spread across South Africa, India, Indonesia and many other developing countries. I recently came across MMM Global Republic of Bitcoin through a reddit post. It seems many people are buying into bitcoin across the globe just to be part of this Ponzi. BTCC CEO Bobby Lee said the same to CoinDesk. When this MMM Global Republic of Bitcoin will collapse, the effect will be catastrophic. Please do not confuse it as other petty Ponzis that run on Bitcointalk. It'll not only drown those who invested in the Ponzi, but may also take down the bitcoin price at ground zero. Please note that Mavrodi's Russian Ponzi was many times bigger than bitcoin's total market cap. Hence, as theymos controls bitcoin.org, bitcointalk.org & /r/bitcoin, I'd request him to pin an awareness notification in all these sites. |

I have marked multiple Ponzi operations before. Most of them are down now and some others are already marked as scam by DefaultTrust members. But, a few are left and still running fine as they are not yet marked as scam by DefaultTrust members. I would request DefaultTrust members to check my trust feedback and leave -ve trust on those Ponzis. It is better to kill the Ponzis at bud, than allowing them to grow to a level, where fighting them become difficult.

Roger Ver has launched a counter forum to BitcoinTalk, which is forum.bitcoin.com. I saw some same forum names of BitcoinTalk are present there. That is when it struck me that people might book the BitcoinTalk DT names on that forum to scam people. On checking, I found theymos and a few others are already booked. With a few email I had, I have booked the following names...
i. BadBear
ii. Tomatocage
iii. escrow.ms
^^These people may PM me to take their passwords. I think, it is good for other DT members to secure their names over there as well...

Probably true, I'm very jealous. :-/ @OP, if you need escrow services feel free to contact me (in the case that OgNasty is not responsive) I'd trust monbux also...just mentioned OgNasty since he posted earlier.
