Yes it is... it was very difficult to test for, too many hours I played with betarigs rentals and changing diff settings and scenarios. Other recent SHA256 coins such as BITB and Paycoin had serious problems with block retargeting and diff but Positron has been very good at meeting its 90 second block target. Hey I'm sure you're busy but do you have any plans for developing a mac wallet or perhaps a bounty? I'm sure some community mac users would be happy to throw a couple sats if thats the case |

So what partially attracted many people to SFR, or maybe just me, was the talent and skill of the development team. The innovation and tech has always spoken for itself with SFR and Rosh continuously earned his reputation as one of the best crypto developers, so much so that Unocoin had to scoop him up and hire him as their Chief Scientist. At first thought, I feel against a community takeover of SFR because I feel like its an excuse for a quick pump, profit, and dump and SFR (as I still put SFR on a pedestal above all of that) is better than your average shitcoin. Even though Rosh may no longer be with us (despite no real confirmation, or lack thereof, for his disappearance), I still hold the coin because I still believe in the vision and what it stands for. And sinking down to the scummy underworld of shitcoins is no trip that SFR deserves to take. Many of us are holding the coin hoping that Rosh will one day return and everything will be cleared up. Yes, this may be a bit optimistic or naive but Rosh has never done anything to lower my exceptions or trust in him. He continuously delivered and released new feature after feature at a rapid pace, some would argue it was too rapid and may have hurt SFR. Rosh has always been very open and communicative and up until about a couple months ago, we always always very easy to reach and quick to respond to questions or concerns. Obviously, we all know, at present time this isn't the case. But back to the point about a community takeover... I wouldn't be opposed to a community takeover but if and only if we have a full time dev lined up for the re-launch, who has received consensus from the SFR community. If anyone knows or has someone in mind, have them stop by the thread or IRC channel. Both have been quiet recently, but chunk of the community is definitely still alive and well at both. It'd even be a cool community discussion to have, discussion qualifications, requirements, process of finding, reviewing, and selecting a dev(s) The great thing about the decentralization of crypto is that coins are difficult to truly kill. letting? Price drop is natural, it happens on the best of coins and the worst of coins. It's when the market goes stale, things go bad. letting ∁∁ settle on a floor within the high vPoS is not a bad thing. For some it's sell, for some it's accumulate, and for others it's just stake and do not bother with market. For the dev to try and influence the market at this point is not a good thing. Nobody forced you to mine or stake or buy or sell, you make your own choices, in 10 days it might be 1 SAT or 500 SATS the big players will decide. The devs did not mine millions of ∁∁, we only mined what the average miner did, so we are watching the same like you are. We can influence price as much as the other person can,
no more no less. Of course you can influence the price much more than any other person can. You are the Dev, you decide what is the plan for the coin development, and whether you are going to give any real value to the coin (roadmap/whitepaper/updates/adoption), or just let it lose its cost proportionally to the high inflation rate during vPos. All this reminds me very much of the notorious Intellect coin... I Agree with You in this point @drays The only reason someone would want the dev to influence prices during high vPoS distribution is that they want to sell at a higher price exit point. If that is the case you are welcome to pump and dump. If you are worried about what you bought you should stake to counter the natural price reduction or just exit and cut your loss. A loss is not a loss until you sell. Nothing changed about specs since release, so what made you get into ∁∁ did not change. Real value of the coin is not given by (roadmap/whitepaper/updates/adoption), it's all supply and demand, when the math demands it, people will stop selling and will start buying. For those waiting on (roadmap/whitepaper/updates/adoption), will have to go the 15 days of high vPoS like everyone else before we release it. I'm glad I mined at the start and continued to mine throughout POW so far. Nice one on trying to get a mobile wallet up and running. I do have some questions though, regarding the mobile wallet.
1. Is it an actual app or a web site based wallet?
2. I assume if it is an app it will only work on android since Apple isn't all about adding crypto wallets to the app store, correct?
3. If this is a web based wallet, what kind of security will you have to ensure protection for users against theft and hacks?
4. If it is an app what kind of security will the wallet have?

So Apple has recently began approving altcoin iOS wallets (beyond those of BTC, LTC, and Doge), like Digibyte https://itunes.apple.com/hk/app/digibyte-wallet/id954957511?mt=8 . Just worth to note that their attitude and official policy towards virtual currencies have always been vague, which allows them flexibility if they so decide to be more lenient with allowing more crypto wallets in the future. But for now, it appears that coins need to demonstrate network strength and tenure to gain entrance into the Apple App store. As of now, Apple's official policy is as follows, "Apps may facilitate transmission of approved virtual currencies provided that they do so in compliance with all state and federal laws for the territories in which the app functions". It's the approved virtual currencies that was intentionally left vague. But dev, the android wallet looks great and im looking forward towards future developments |
