101  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 08:59:54 PM
Alright Ukyo thanks, it looks like you are working towards resolving this....

1 small thing again though:

It would be smart / kind / & reasonable if you posted a warning on WeExchange. Something like "Note that any deposits may be subject to an arbitrary holding period up to a month due to technical difficulties" or somesuch.  This is only fair as this problem has been going on more than month with notice given to folks who are depositing.

I agree with this and wanted to try to get that put up today.
I have also disabled the ability to send funds to BitFunder already.
102  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 08:14:15 PM
It was a very stressful few weeks, but I finally received my Bitcoins  Smiley. Thank you Ukyo.
Good luck and see you all later.

-carnivale

Again, I want to stress how sorry I am for the delays and thank everyone for their patience.
I will continue to sort through this mess as fast as possible. Please keep in mind that not all
withdraws are being witnessed. This process tends to add 5~15 minutes to the process.
And yes, I am still working on trying resolve the whole issue asap.

Thanks,
Ukyo

Hey Ukyo,

Is there anyway for me to download my trade history without manually doing it? Can I get a csv dump

Currently this is not an option.
As soon as I get done with other problems I will look to do this.
104  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 01:13:42 PM
This is great, Ukyo, and I appreciate that you are working hard to fix this problem. But most of us would like to know:
a)When will you finish October 23rd wihdrawals?
b)When will the rest of October be done?
c)When do you expect to fix bitcoind or migrate to a different system?

Personally, I am checking blockchain.info at least 3 times a day for my transaction, and I will post here as soon as I receive it.

a: Just a couple left. Looking ahead I am expecting to get to or through the 26th today. Possibly 28th. There were less requests these days.
b: I am hoping for Monday assuming there is no fix before. There were a larger number of withdraws on the 28th.
c: I am still really hoping to get things cleared up this weekend.
105  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: November 16, 2013, 01:01:07 PM
Thank you for that, can you please try now?
106  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: November 16, 2013, 12:56:58 PM
Can you please try this again? I just changed it to 0.00000001.

I just gave it another go, I cleared my cache too incase that was the issue, its only a dust amount so nothing too important, but yeah I get the warning still.

Would logging out and in make a difference?

Just to confirm, are we talking about bitfunder or weexchange?
107  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder] Ukyo please process the withdraw request. on: November 16, 2013, 12:52:05 PM
The number of threads is becoming to great for me to post in all of them.

Please reference https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=316546.380

I have started posting proof of transactions.

Minimal Withdraw Amount
฿0.10000000

I still get the message saying I am not allowed to transfer.

Can you please try this again? I just changed it to 0.00000001.
109  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 12:47:49 PM
To be clear, that was a random person. The address listed was not his nor was the withdraw.

I will continue to randomly ask people to help with this.

Please keep in mind, out of thousands of users on BitFunder, very few have posted here and seem to be looking at this thread.

If any of these transactions that I do this way throughout are yours feel free to claim them or not for privacy reasons but at least state you got your withdraw.

Also, the minimal withdraw on BitFunder has been lowered to 0.00000001 so users with any balance can withdraw.

Hello everyone.

I want to start with an apology for my absence. I had a personal issue the last few days. This is not meant to be an excuse but just an answer to why I have not been posting. I do not think anything is a good excuse for this at this point.

I will continue to post through the day and make updates. I have not gone and am continuing to process withdraws.

I apologize for the delay.
I am around now and will try to make posts more regularly.

Withdraws are still being worked on.

sigh, Stop posting that "over and over and over" and STOP THE WITHDRAWING FUNCTIONALITY!.

now I told you, Dump all using pywallet, install the latest electrum and connect using tor, import all addresses and move the coins to a single or a couple of addresses, import them in a wallet.dat. Headache done, this solution WILL stick for a while.

Of course you want a permenant solution, USE LIBBITCOIN.

This would be a great solution except that I am not looking to shut down the site.
The system must stay in sync with the backend for tracking and audit purposes.
We can not have divergence.

I do not want to disable the withdraw functionality because requests need to be able to be made.

Please also keep in mind, I am verifying all the transactions to make sure there are no double sends.
Just because there was an rpc time out during the withdraw process does not necessarily mean that bitcoind did not eventually process the withdraw. I am sure no one wants to get told later "oops, the system sent X bitcoins to many people more than once because of making haste so there are not enough bitcoins remaining for you"

I am currently talking with a couple people about real solutions and depending on their time and its effectiveness I am hoping to have at least one option tested and possibly running by this weekend.

There are more than 200 withdraws. Lot's of people seem to think if X withdraw does not work, let's try Y.. then Z... etc.
This has only caused even more delays.

Withdraws can be canceled.

Wow.

That's all I have to say.

Well, I don't know, I heard he was going bankruptcy because he used our bitcoins to sell short now he lost them all, which is why he could not pay back to us, which is what I have been acknowledged. I think

Where did you hear this? The voice in your closet?
"I don't know" followed by "I heard" does not make a very reliable statement, especially when ended with "which is what I have acknowledged". Do you normally make decisions in your life based around things you heard without checking them?

Some people have been waiting more than a month. Something is obviously up.

Glendall, WHO has been waiting a month?
Please do not post fud.

Now  what is he up to?

Trying my hardest to process requests and get everyone their bitcoins instead of wasting time on forum trolls.

If I am reading this correctly, Ukyo is bitcoin broke and cannot process withdrawals.

I suggest reading something with substance. Not a big fan of making determinations based off of "I heard" with nothing to back it up.
114  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 08:29:24 PM
Of course no new withdraws are working.
I have stated over and over that bitcoind is in a constant state of non-use by the system because it either in startup/wallet loading mode, or locked up due to the latest transfer request.

Let me repeat again.
During startup, bitcoind does not respond to RPC calls.
Once it is up, I make a transfer. The moment I make the transfer, no matter what hardware is provided, it goes to 100% resources and fails to respond to any RPC requests, even after the transaction eventually makes it to the network.

Yes, I was helping with asicminer. Divs were only delayed that one week because of FriedCat shorting the div amount and I was waiting for the rest.

I think we will be done with the 23rd today. The next few days had a lot less transactions as I mentioned before.

All withdraws are being processed in order.
I am working as fast as the software will go.

I cant get verified because at registration time I entered fake data at WE.
There is no way to edit my data - at least no way I found. I have no ID for the fake data.
I were not able to trade because of this.

You did not answer my support tickets at WE and BF.
Now BF is closing down. My shares are nearly void.

Thanks!

Almost all verification requests have been processed except for about 200.
Support tickets for withdraws have taken priority over all others.

I am sorry that you did not fill in the information correctly.
As for your shares, all assets are free to be listed somewhere else and have had plenty of time to do so.
You should contact the asset issuer to discuss their plans.
117  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 12, 2013, 08:01:12 AM
I am not a user of either Bitfunder or Weexchange.

could you clarify if your problems redeeming the Ukyo loan are now finished.

I am working to redeem shares as soon on first come first serve basis as funds are available for such.
Currently I am putting the funds together for MGIO.

And, by the way my exact question was: Does this have anything to do with the withdrawals issue at Weexchange and possibly a lack of funds or liquidity problem on your side? Could you please answer that? Thanks.

Nothing to do with each other. MGIO's redeem request is from Oct 8th. Withdraw issues came weeks later.

which seems to be defaulting or paying less than agreed

A. In what way does it "seem" to be defaulting? I am working to redeem shares as funds are available and have made the users waiting well aware of this.
B. Where did I pay less than agreed anywhere for anything?

I am currently trying to wrap up Oct 23rd. The following couple days have a much smaller list of withdraws.

Well Ukyo, you see, the only positive announcement you can make at this point is that you have processed all withdrawals and that all your users have got their coins.
Otherwise who in the world will send a single coin, whatever the currency to your site?

I completely agree. This whole mess has done nothing but drain even more time away from things. However, I take full responsibility in making sure that regardless of limitations of bitcoind that I will continue to give the problem my primary attention and get everyone fixed.

Also will you please clarify what's going on with your Ukyo loan which seems to be defaulting or paying less than agreed as posted by user mgio here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=258612.180
Does this have anything to do with the withdrawals issue at Weexchange and possibly a lack of funds or liquidity problem on your side? Please clarify.

Can you please point out exactly where it is defaulting? I wonder if you are simply reading other people's posts out of context without reading on.
Full disclosure please, do you hold any shares? Do you have any idea the sort of damage you may be responsible for by making false implications?
At no point have I ever been "paying less than agreed as posted" or "seem to be defaulting" in any way.

If you take a moment to actually read the thread you will see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=258612.msg3541394#msg3541394 at which I indicate exactly what is going on with MGIO's request and how this is currently taking priority. There is nothing there about defaulting on anything or paying less than agreed.

Finally you did not post the status of withdrawals today. Seems like no progress. Could you please post daily the date of the last withdrawal your processed as recommended by several users here. That will be appreciated by everyone.

Withdraws continue to go out as fast as bitcoind will possibly send them. I have been posting here all day and answering questions.
You can click the numbers at the top of the page to read older posts.

Users posting here are good people and trying to help you out with the technical issues you are mentioning. But be sure Ukyo that they also have the dobermans ready in case they need to take action. It's up to you boy. You should process those withdrawals and process them fast.
As I am sure you realize, Ukyo, nobody likes to have their coins hijacked for so long. Seems you are over 3 weeks late already and getting worse by the day. Remember these are in fact, in the best case, free loans you are taking without the user's consent.

I have been very fortunate to have so many users who understand the limitations of bitcoin and am very thankful for all of the patience and help that I have been getting to settle this matter.
120  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 11, 2013, 11:09:08 PM
So i dont think it makes much sense to repair a websites wallet that isnt needed in the future anymore. Instead doing withdraws manually and save much time.

WeExchange is about to make a rather important and very positive announcement about the immediate future.
There is every reason to work on WeExchange.
