101  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Is Yahoo(Street)the last hope of a common man? on: April 03, 2024, 10:24:12 PM
I for talk say true true Nigerian youth wey dey do yahoo lazy as our former presido been talk, but even the yahoo self no easy to cash out, except for boys wey don plus up their yahoo. E dey really baffle me to see the kind of energy and effort boys dey put for this yahoo. Just imagine if them put the same amount of energy for another online hustle, for those wey no light offline hustle. The problem be say our youths nowadays dey see the kind of luxurious lifestyle wey other yahoo boys dey live and the thing dey hungry them too, and them don conclude say no other hustle go fit give them the kind money to live that kind of lifestyle so them see yahoo as their last hope of survival. Another thing na inadequate job for the country, even for graduates to get jobs na wahala. Now even old people self don Joon yahoo because of too much hardship for the country. Na only God fit just help us for this pandemic wey don infest this country like this.

Before I been dey think say na because  of to survive naim so e boys dey enter street but this few days naim my clear. E get one boy wey dey run street wey I come across the few days, as we dey discuss e come tell me say, work for office no go fit pay you $100k. Na from there naim I take realize say some of these boys, don get passion for wattin Dem dey do and them don see am as opportunity to take make easy and quick money, rather than looking for a way to survive. So even if them try to use their knowledge and skills take do legit online business, them go always tell you say e too hard because of the swift way wey their money take dey come from street.

So yes, street fit dey hard somehow but you no go fit compare to legit work online, though both of the requires dedication but legit still hard pass.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: April 03, 2024, 10:13:56 PM
As we experience any fall in a shitcoin, there are more coins that are created or yet to be created. All altcoins cannot die or crash, there will always be new ones to replace the shitcoins. I believe after Ethereum ETF approval, the coin will hit a new ATH because it has potential of breaking it old ATH. However let's keep a close watch on the market to observe the price movement after the price correction. All these kind of questions are the fact that prove that altcoin investment is indeed very risky, just pray you don't get to deal with the wrong coin, and do your own research before taking any coin for investment.
103  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is investing in exchange tokens profitable? on: April 03, 2024, 10:02:45 PM
Anything altcoin investment, you supposed to know say na better risk be that. But when e dey come from exchange, to some extent e dey prove to be potential coin, but should incase anything thing like hack occur for that exchange we know say the price of their token go drop well well. However for the potential aspect, based on the fact say na exchange naim get the coin, Dem go like to do am well because, no be project for testing their development skill, them create the project because them don make name already.

Considering binance token BNB if to say person invest for that coin when e been dey $10 sef you for don get 5500% profit, if you be patient and long term holder. So no be trading be everything, most coins just requires you to hold for long term and you go definitely get the benefits from am.
104  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Appreciation to All Voters on: April 03, 2024, 09:53:15 PM
Congratulations boss abeg, you don do well to make this local board proud. Wining anything for international board mean a lot to this our local board, e show say our face show normally. I believe say if we keep up like this, in the next few years to come our board go dey very outstanding because of our doings. Make we keep the good reputation coming, because e go definitely take us to somewhere. Congrats to the other winners as well and to those wey no make am to top 3, una try. E no easy to get the courage contest for international board and come even bake untop.
105  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Sometimes try to compromise... on: April 03, 2024, 01:30:22 PM
The case of compromising can also be related to Bitcoin investment or should I say Bitcoin trading because, most persons who trade their Bitcoin and other altcoins also come across situations like this to choose whether to sell or wait a little longer, Including those into forex trade. The outcome of waiting a little longer can either be positive or negative or even neutral if possible. It's like a 50/50 chance if you'll gain or loose. But when it comes to Bitcoin, with the assurance I have, I don't think I'll be selling now or even during the price correction because of profit or whatever.
106  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Is this the beginning of crude oil by-products price dropping? on: April 03, 2024, 11:06:50 AM
This na better development, assuming the government still put head for ground conduct mentainance and repair for other ones too, e for good, or make them just plant new one. That time we go come know say them really mean business to save the economy from falling apart. Nigerian government fit actually dey dey their normal things while them dey work join, that one go make them look like better people, but yet them go wan make this money to the fullest of their potential by all means, na why the country no dey move.

I believe say competition na one of things wey fit help the price of things reduce, so as dangote don start to sell at a cheaper rate, e go prompt every other person to still reduce their price.
107  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin mining, waiting be the way forward? on: April 02, 2024, 07:35:58 AM
One of the major reason I believe miners will increase is that,  irrespective of the electricity cost and reduction in the mining fee by the halving, there is still a way miners gain their profit, and that is the increase in price of Bitcoin. If you observe closely, you'll find out that during the genesis block and before the first halving, the price of Bitcoin was ultimately low to even less than $100 but now with  just 6.25BTC as mining reward, you'll get $417k + and that is possible because of limited supply and the theory of demand and supply. So definitely, they still make profits no matter what. Miners have started using some renewable energy source like hydro power plant and solar plant for power generation and this is even more economical than paying electricity bills.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Ethereum Clones and Forks on: April 02, 2024, 05:31:33 AM
This is the first time in a really long time that I've seen someone that is interested in ethereum clones. As far as I know, Ethereum clones no longer get attention anymore even the famous ethereum classic is widely neglected these days

There are indeed lots of other altcoins that could potentially outperform ethereum but right now ethereum is still the second highest cryptocurrency and until that is changed we can not say that it is being ignored or neglected. A lot of investors are still very much interested and are using ethereum as one of their sources of income.

Exactly my thoughts, the fact that Ethereum is still the top ranked altcoin, that means it is still attracting more investors because, the position of the top altcoins has been changing for some years now and since 2019 Ethereum when Ethereum took the lead from XRP it has been the top altcoins and currently, no other altcoins is even close to half of the market cap of Ethereum, and that means for now, there is no potential altcoins that can take the position of Ethereum being the top ranked altcoin.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my shib for litecoin on: April 02, 2024, 05:00:00 AM
However, talking about regretting selling bitcoin, everyone at one time or the other will regret this.

Regret is constant when you don't follow the right procedure. Though the crypto market is very difficult to predict due to the volatility and factors that can influence the price movement, but Bitcoin is the most easiest coin to predict and aside that, the most reputable and trustworthy coin. The reason I quoted the op was the fact that he sold his Bitcoin, for a coin that doesn't have any potential for now. Just because Litecoin pumped a bit doesn't make it better than Bitcoin. Even if you choose to be specific with time, by saying Bitcoin price correction would soon take place, after the price correction come the bulls again and that is before the 5 years he Intend Litecoin ETF would get approved.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: April 01, 2024, 08:28:57 PM
Meme coins are indeed the most risky among altcoins to invest in, and at the same time they are very profitable if you manage to get into the market early. Majority of meme coins are shitcoins and they don't last long, so if you intend investing in any memecoin then you should be able to bear the risk and remember not to invest too much that will cause regret if the project crashes. Personally, I don't like altcoin investment  not to talk of memecoin because I see it as another indirect form of gambling professionally.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Elon Must not tweeting about any crypto coin on his twitter now ? on: April 01, 2024, 08:20:38 PM
Indeed his influence can really cause the growth of any project, as long as he engages himself with that project, even by mentioning the project. His influence towards any project is just so amazing. I believe he just took a break, maybe due to the bull run ahead, but I don't believe he was compelled to stop his actions, he is indeed a big whale in the crypto market and it's very normal for a whale to influence the price of a coin.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a best bounty campaign to join ? on: April 01, 2024, 07:54:27 PM
Op if you're talking about signature campaign to help you make extra income then, you're yet qualified due to your current rank. You need to have at least 100 merit to be qualified for signature campaigns that will enable you make extra, for your wifi subscription or whatever. But if you're talking about bounty hunting campaigns, then you need to check telegram groups with the name bounty campaign, I believe you'll find some campaigns that will give you some shitcoins there. Or you might even get lucky to come across to good project.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my shib for litecoin on: April 01, 2024, 07:46:52 PM
Recently I bought around 1000 dollars of litecoin (I sold 1000 dollars of my bitcoin for it) and I've already made a 20% gain. I decided to buy more LTC by selling the 690 dollars of shib bringing the grand total of my litecoin to 2000 dollars USD. Is this bad or does LTC have a future? I've seen a lot about how LTC has a possible ETF in the far future. I am a long holder (5 years at least) btw.

I don't advise anyone to sell their Bitcoin for altcoin no matter what, most person who sold their Bitcoin in the early days have come to regret their actions, and I still think same thing will happen in the nearest future to come. So it better to hold steady and patiently besides, the ETF approval of Litecoin as you said is still very far from now, so selling Bitcoin or any other trustworthy coin to buy Litecoin that has been existing for years but don't have the capacity to be listed among the first top 10 coins.

120  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Balancing digitalization and on-site jobs on: March 29, 2024, 11:10:25 AM
Initially I was against the idea of Nigerian going back to farming as said by the former president buhari but after reading your post, it occurred to me that he had a good vision but with the wrong mindset and strategies of achieving them. After telling the citizens to go into farming, assuming he being an example, set a big contract on agriculture in a large scale farming by producing some vital raw materials needed by the country and outsiders with the help of some farm machineries, it would have helped the economy as time progresses but, he didn't work towards achieving this goal for the benefit of the country but rather he used a wrong strategy by trying to force it upon the citizens individually.

Assuming a large scale farm was created as a project for the country, it would have helped in reducing the rate of unemployment in the country, most of those citizens who studied agriculture could have been employed while even uneducated would also be employed.

However, seeing that our leaders don't have a concrete plan in ending inflation and continues importation, I can't blame any body most especially youths, for trying as much as possible to survive by focusing on other ways to make money.
