101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: September 02, 2018, 02:43:09 PM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..

Well, in this year 2018 seems the market is keep staying on the bottom. No wonder we will facing many losses in our portfolio.
To manage losses, you may want to trade your coins or tokens in the market.
Just holding it may can make you sad if you see in the market. Try to sell and buy with a short time following the market movements.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: September 02, 2018, 02:36:15 PM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

I think we can keep holding the coins we own because we know about the coin. For example i am currently holding some ETH.
Even though the ETH price is very low now, but i know ETH is a good coin with smart contract. Peoples will keep using the coin.

104  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the opinions on bitcoin’s future on: August 30, 2018, 03:00:47 AM
Hello everyone, what is your opinions regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double.I heard that most of the countries were going to change some rules on Bitcoin, That will effect on the value of the Bitcoin too. What will you say? What are your opinions?

I dont want to speculate but im giving my opinion anyway. Regarding bitcoin future, i think bitcoin will not be used by many peoples because
they will using other coins than bitcoin, which have a faster transaction speed, and cheaper fee for their daily currency.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative to Myetherwallet on: August 28, 2018, 03:01:30 PM
I normally use myetherwallet for storing my Ethereum based tokens. I am from a country where the economy is really bad and cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology has being a life saver, but the recent hack of mew DNS servers. I fear losing it.
Please what are the best alternatives to securing tokens while storing them.
I want advice on the best alternatives to Myetherwallet

Yeah, the DNS server hijacking has got me back then. I lose about hundreds of dollars worth of tokens.
Maybe you should use metamask to secure your eth wallet address. You just need to import it once, then you dont need to using private key anymore.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bancor - Decentralized ? on: August 28, 2018, 02:55:40 PM
Bancor - a Kenya based exchanged which is known for its establishment of smart tokens got recently hacked. Bancor was said to be a decentralized exchanged but was recently compromised by hackers and suffered a huge loss of $23 million. People say that if it was a completely decentralized exchange then it should not have lost the funds. Bancor said they were able to freeze a portion of amount in the hack which again raised the question as a decentralized exchange cannot be able to freeze the funds.

What are your thoughts on this ?

News on cointelegraph : https://cointelegraph.com/news/bancor-urges-industry-players-to-collaborate-after-23-5-million-hack

I think bancor is not decentralized. It is a centralized exchange with a high liquidity. You dont need to match the price when buying or selling in bancor exchange. It is centralized because decentralized exchange can done with matching the order book by other peoples using their eth address wallet.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legal ransomware ? on: August 28, 2018, 04:36:01 AM
Hi,

Anyone else learn about CZIP.ORG ?

It's described as crypto archiver and offer users to archive and crypt their files/folders, and then decrypt using Cryptocurrency Payments !

Is it innovative idea for you ? Bad or Good thing for crypto community ?

A ransomware friendly software for commercial use !

And, why do you want to encrypt your files with fee ? You just can use winzip or winrar, and using some strong password like cryptocurrency private key.
It is good for experimental only, peoples will use free software in their reality.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of questions and answers are the same on: August 28, 2018, 04:25:07 AM
So, reading the first 2 pages of topics on this forum I have noticed that every single question is either:
- Will Bitcoin be the most amazing thing ever?
- Will bitcoin crash and burn?

Almost every answer is exactly the same:
- It will be amazing because "I believe", "I have faith" etc etc
- It will crash and burn because it has no value/too volatile/the secret world society will not let it be mainstream, whatever...
- No-one knows but I will write a ton of words which say that.

Whether Bitcoin ends up rising in value, replacing global financial systems, crashing etc etc the answer is nothing more than NO ONE KNOWS....
Your "faith" "belief" etc in it is irrelevant, unless you can manipulate the price, news, etc you have no influence over its success.

All you are doing is taking a gamble/speculating.... you may get lucky or not.... just make sure it is money that won't ruin your life if it all goes away.

I bought some bitcoin because I am greedy and want it to go up in price so I can sell to someone else for more money.
Is it the best investment.... of course not....
But is it fun, hell yes!

Trading it can be fun, like going to a casino where you think you know how the cards are stacked.....

So, what answer did you expect from them ? The answer is look same because the question.
If some peoples doubting crypto and asking confirmation, we should answer them so they can keep using cryptocurrency, not leaving.
You buy bitcoin to sell it with a higher price, it is ok. But bitcoin should be used as a currency to stabilize the value.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a good ICO? on: August 27, 2018, 08:12:20 AM
What makes a good ICO?

There are only few of ICO are good, the others are not good to invest, just wasting your money.
The measure of good ICO is i think the good management of the community. If The team often to communicate, i think that will be a good ICO project.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: August 26, 2018, 02:38:03 PM
There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley

Not really. The old coins like Monero or Ripple is still be used by many peoples in the world. The price of the coin is down just because the market dropping now. Later when the market recovered, i think the old coins will be much profitable than now. Just be patience in this bear market.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure? on: August 26, 2018, 02:23:06 PM
We're all aware of the risks of keeping our coins on online wallets and exchange wallets, but many of us still keep our coins on our own devices.

Are we keeping our devices secure? Its instinctual to not leave your fiat money wallet unattended in a public place but what about your bitcoin wallet? Are you leaving leaving the laptop you're writing your novel on the table at Starbucks when you go the bathroom? The laptop with your electrum wallet, your life savings.

Where does the line between paranoia and reasonable physical security meet?

Actually some of us think storing your coins in the exchange wallet is more safe than the personal wallet because the security of exchange wallet is very good. Few months ago when some exchange got hacked, it made me think there is no safe place to store our coins. Maybe we should consider to use hard wallet.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPEN TO ETH??? touches below 300 USD!!! on: August 25, 2018, 02:59:48 PM
WHAT HAPPEN TO ETH??? touches below 300 USD!!!

https://www.ccn.com/newsflash-ethereum-price-falls-below-300-pummeled-to-9-month-low/

A sell-off sent the ethereum price plunging below $300 on Monday, forcing the second-largest cryptocurrency to its lowest mark in more than nine months.

Ethereum had traded as high as $323 earlier in the day, but a flurry of sell orders began to pummel the market at approximately 15:00 UTC, driving ETH closer and closer to $300, a level it had not touched since 2017.

what do you think? it will rebound today or will fall more?
A really sad news for holders.

Nothing happened, just some whales sold their ETH maybe. There are some rumors about the falling of altcoins is because bitcoin ETF.
Crypto market has been in the bottom from Q2 of this year. I think it is about the time for market recover. Patience is required to not panic.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any reason why i must continue Investing in Altcoins? on: August 25, 2018, 02:49:11 PM
Frankly speaking, there are several reasons why i must continue to invest in the wold of Altcoin: haven the mindset that i will make a good earnings form investing with any possible altcoin that will shoot to the moon in the nearest future. Also, that continuing doing more research on some promising project before investing will yield more huge profit as never before when invested in.

I could imagine what your reasons are; kindly share it might help someone to continue investing.

What i see in altcoins now is the value on the market are very bad. While bitcoin price stable above $6k, altcoins price dropped more.
I think the reason for keep investing in altcoin is the low market now. Many peoples may have sold their altcoins, but i believe they will come back.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want the bear market to stop? Here are some things you can do :) on: August 24, 2018, 01:48:27 AM
Yes, using bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies with a large scale will pump the value in the market because everyone wants to buy it.
The supply and demand law plays well here. If you want to end the bear market, you will need to spread more words about cryptocurrency.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: August 23, 2018, 04:38:35 AM
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

But when you want to transfer from cold wallet address to public wallet address, you will need to paste the private key right ? It is same thing then.
For peopels who cannot afford hard wallet, they may use ethereum wallet like metamask, a browser extension. No need private key to input.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did people get involved in bitconnect? on: August 22, 2018, 11:54:41 AM
Bitconnect looked like a pyramid scheme from early on, and it had a ton of warning signs. If you missed the fact even a ton of people on youtube told everyone that bit connect was a scam, so you didn't even need to notice it yourself.

I want to know why people got involved while knowing that it was a HORRIBLE scam from early on?

Maybe because they were just blindly believe about the projects ? Some peoples maybe were not doing any due diligence before join bitconnect.
Not mention that many scam ICOS scammed many peoples with a millions dollars worth! In crypto, you must very picky to choose the project.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: August 22, 2018, 11:42:27 AM
Is this really happening. I think this will be huge support for existing of bitcoin. Recently,I heard that Samsung started to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries. It is said that customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

For this year, i heard several times about samsung in crypto related news. I think samsung want to adopt cryptocurrency in their company uses.
It will not be a surprised if someday samsung create their coins in cryptocurrency. Crypto still have long way to go and a bright future.

Hello, you can find about the altcoins that you want to buy first. Knowing about the projects of your investment is mandatory from my opinion.

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the Hell is going on with Crypto market? on: August 21, 2018, 06:41:41 AM
What the Hell is going on with Crypto market?
Bitcoin drops from $19,000 to $6000
ETH dumps from $1400 to $250 today
NEO: $150 to $15
BTG: $400 to $13

God Save Us! Please.

Some parties take advantage of SEC delayed decision for ETF related case. They could manipulate the market price until now.
It is hard to believe that the market of cryptocurrency can falling suddenly. You are comparing the highest price and the current price, so the difference is so great..
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What seems to be the average price of ICO's on: August 20, 2018, 06:56:13 AM
Seems like a lot of coins go to shit because of high ICO prices

IMO, anything above 1 cent is pricey as shit. I see ICO's going for like 50cents to 90cents...

Ripple ain't even worth 50 cents for 1 XRP so how the hell is an ICO going to hold that value

The price of ICO will depends on how many total coin supply, you cannot give the average or standard ICO price of the coins.
If you compare the current price of some coins, it maybe much cheaper than the ICO price because now the market is still on the bottom.
