That's true up to a certain point and I think you are becoming wiser in your betting strategy. Just always keep in mind that the longer you play the closer you get to the averages claimed. So if you make 49.9% bets and a house edge of 1% it doesn't ensure that you'll win 49 or even 48 of the first one hundred bets. You may have to roll a million times before the averages balance out to an actual 48.9% of wins. this is true, dice gmabling isnt profitable in the long term with the house edge in play, and it should show in the "luck" statistic PD provides. having patience and making 1 satoshi bets as stated above is definitely a great idea to maximize your chances of profit.
with 1 Satoshi bets you will only make near impossible lose more or less than the house edge, let alone have profit.
The most sure way of losing 1% of your money is bet a big amount 1 Satoshi by time
With 1 satoshi bet its like near impossible to lose, yes, but surely you will waste your time to earn a very few satoshi specially if you plan to spend hours gambling
