Just out of curiosity, how many of u guys are gamers?
heh, let me explain  I am gamer from 35 year (now i am on 39). My first game in the world was Lode Runner for 8bit pc. I love quests , hardcore RPG, turn-based strategy and the only one mmorpg ...suggest who is  ? Cheers Great. I got a few ideas that are connected to games that we'll be discussing then Metal music, Levski (Sofia) and pc are mine love . The mmorpg is Start Wars "The Old Republic". The greatest movie in the world AND BEER !!!!! Haha, BEER ALWAYS!!!  I'm a big star wars/sci-fi fan, have always been. Did some texturing and building work on the MineTrek server where they are rebuilding star trek ships real size in minecraft, totally nuts project. I'm 36, also been into games forever, and done some gamedev stuff lately, mainly for Oculus/VR. I keep thinking of games that you buy, but if you do well in them you get some of that money back in crypto. Apart from the obvious trading in-game for stuff of course. |

You mean they are looking less promising than when the coin was in abandon as early as this morning? Now the community has taken over, we will get to the current source and continue work. We have devs on the line if current dev has no time. We have a very powerful marketing team behind this. All the big holders want to do this and are banding together. So, please explain your position. |

I'm ready starting to invest a lot again here but i need some clarifications:
-Need to know if dev is really going to made a community takeover
-How much dev recieved for the take-over
-If community have control on this thread and will create a new-one closing this ones
-Who is the leader of the take-over
I followed nkt,and dev was always honest,without recieving nothing more then a brunch of btc as donations since december.
So,please,who posted about the take over: Be clear.
It will be very funny if dev will delete this thread writing "Dead" on first page.

I instigated all of this. You just have to read back in the thread to realise I've been calling it for a while now. Last I tried, no reaction on here at all. I woke up this morning, looked at the market and was like "ok fk this". I had access to the twitter from connecting it to the slack, so I changed the pass and posted the takeover announcement. That was not dev, or some phantom marketing person, it was me. Nobody is scamming the dev out of anything, seeing as the dev is also part of the community and nobody has suggested he should not continue to be. I know a few more devs who are happy to help if current dev has no time, which considering events of late, seems to be the case. Looking at the profile of this project, it being anything but a corporate coin, + dev himself saying that he wanted it to be a community coin, I can't see why we would have a problem with dev getting in the way of anything. If anything he should feel relieved. So, as of today, there has been no official communication with dev about this takeover, he has received nothing for it, and community should get control of this thread yes. As for who the leader is, there is none. There is a community, in which some people might want to work on this coin and some may not. I am simply acting as a firestarter because I suppose that's the kind of person I am. The community should decide things, it's nobody else's responsibility now. Seems legit. Metakid is also mentioned in OP. Good luck. Let's see what happens. This project does not deserve to be abandoned. One fair coin and we're just gonna let it die? Naah. |

Last take-over i followed was from ascension coin and the statement was:
"we talked with dev,we found an arragement,he agree to bla bla bla"
What we have here?
I haven't talked to dev in over a month, haven't even seen him log onto skype for that matter. Nobody is kicking him out of anything, it's just that this is a community coin now. There is no dev vs community scenario, as such you have as much say as him about where this is going. |

QT doesn't run for me under OSX 10.9.5.  what is the error you are getting? I'm not getting an error, the app tries to open, icon comes up for a second in dock and then closes. I'm not sure it ever actually manages to run at all. Was it perhaps compiled with Yosemite as min. OS? |

Well I can say that for me dev is gone, I haven't heard from him or talked in a very long time. This makes me sad, as this was the first coin I did the brand for and had big plans for the UI, integration with bots, and even some videogame stuff coming.
I set up the slack so we could all gather there and make this happen, so far nobody seems to care. All I see is people claiming they supported... but where's the support?
I'm still up for doing this but not with a totally disconnected community that at the very least I can say has not supported me for one second, except for the odd (and very welcome) exception. So if you people wanna do this thing, let's do this thing like a tight family or not do it at all.
It may just be community takeover time... that depends on the community I suppose.
If I was any kind of a coder I would be. Guess copying and pasting can't be too hard though it got this coin this far. Maybe the dev had good intentions yet I never got the impression they were in it for the long run. Changing/removing road maps than bringing it back with some lame VB BS plus it just seems everyone wants to get rich off the next big thing and move on. if they were involved with the crypto community they wouldn't be logged off for several days at a time unless they have another account and have spun up the next pump and dump. Precisely why I said a Community Takeover may be warranted. |

I'm not happy to say it because I had a lot of NKT, but I think hikky22 is right. This will be dead soon. I think it's going in the steps of minerals. In the beginning there is great hype and many hopeful thoughts that the coin is the next big thing and after 2-3 pumps it is going to it's end. I hope that the DEV could do the magic and bring NKT back to life, but if I should look realistically I don't think it will happen.
My first answer is: why this team should work on it for free? To make you people rich? Buying low and sell at 50-100% profit? What's the income for the team? My second question is: This coin got a huge potential,but team apart,what is missing here is the community support. There is no community support. Basically always same 5-7 people are posting. Third: Dev released a roadmap of future wallet upgrade,but this cause a huge dump instead a buy. Maybe this is not anymore what community is looking for. So,Why not make a take-over? I don't think team got problemas about that. My 2 cents. I find it so laughable that, once again, we have a few people demanding that the dev 'rise the price of the coin' somehow, when in fact, it is the very people complaining about price that are responsible for it still being low. As arlo just said, is there any point buying early, then selling (dumping) at a tiny profit? The price of a coin is not set by the dev in any way or form, it is set by the market, which initially in a coin, is the community. The community for this coin is, at the moment, rather pathetic. Bunch of people sitting there crying that the coin isn't at 500 yet while they dump their coin on anyone that shows up with the intention of getting involved. As for the takeover arlo, sure but, who's gonna take over? Our huge community of creditors that have shown to be so good at creating value? I got involved early as you know, and frankly have seen pretty much nothing back for the work put in so far. I'm not going to stop, because I think there's a place for NKT, but seriously any BS pseudoFuD from the people here is falling on deaf ears at the moment. |

Hate to nitpick, but there is a small typing error in the OP : Digital Geocaching Implementation: An online web interface where geocoins can be dragged and dropped onto a map. When a different user visits that location (coordinate), they receive the geocoins. Geodashing is an outdoor sport in which teams of players use GPS receivers to find geopoints around the world. The objective is to visit as many geopoints as possible and receive geocoins for it. There are quite a few fun ideas surrounding this initiative. Although I admit, geodashing sounds cool How about a game of geo bashing ;P  +1 to all of this. Geodashing, Geobashing, Geotrashing, it all sounds like epic fun |
