Both are equivalent and hold top positions and good to invest in long-term because of highest trusted coins of this market. As per my view, we have to invest in both and hold.
Absolutely agree. In terms of investment, both of them are good and it worth having them in the bag. Nevertheless, ETH has more wide usage and can easily replace BTC in all use cases. So, it is quite possible that we won't need BTC in the future and will use ETH instead.

What is happening with the Bitcoin SV for now? I caught a glimpse of this coin that has a pretty good potential to be the center of attention. Please share your opinion, to answer my curiosity today. Thank you very much and goodluck.
In my opinion this coin is only good for speculation and I am widely using this ) But, don't see any future for fork of another fork

I think the Cardano is a potentially good coin and it could become a competitor to Ethereum, but it is unlikely it will be able to get around it. This is possible only if Ethereum continues to fall in price and investors stop trusting Ethereum.
Agree with that. ADA has a good potential, but in order to replace ETH, they should be better then ETH. And this is possible only if Cardano builds infrastructure better than Ethereum has and if Ethereum seriously ruins its reputation.

etherium at the start cost $ 5. the problem is that many tokens were linked to the price of etherium(
To be honest, if we see ETH for $ 5 dollars, there will no longer be any investment in cryptocurrency. Imagine how many projects at ETH and if the king of the ICO falls, what will happen to them? I am more concerned now with projects that have not yet entered the stock exchange. There is a risk that they will not come out at all. Actually it can have the opposite effect. The price will be so attractive that a lot of people will start buying. And I think it will be before the price drop to 5 dollars

I don't think so. Cryptocurrency has a lot of advantages in some particular cases, but it won't replace fiat money, at least in the nearest future. Nevertheless, the blockchain technology can be used (is used) to make financial system better and most likely there will be some synergy of crypto and fiat.

I prefer ETH. This is already an established coin with a serious infrastructure and a wide range of applications. In addition, serious improvements that aim to partially solve problems of speed and scalability should soon be presented. In my opinion, now is just the right time to buy some ETH.

I think a lot of altcoins already are very important. And in my opinion, ETH is as important as BTC or even more. ETH can be used for trading, for participating in ICO, for saving, etc. The usage of ETH is much wider than BTC.

By checking white paper and team members profiles, you can make sure that the project is not a SCAM, at least at some degree. But it is not enough to give you any guaranty on getting profit. Unfortunately, but it is more important whether the team is able to organize good marketing and arranges a listing on good exchanges, pay for bots on exchanges to disperse prices, etc. You can predict such things by analyzing funds that also invest in this project or partnership with companies - market-makers

If I am not mistaken, the last pump started with altcoins and it was something like that: 1. On the Bitfinex a lot of altcoins (including ETH) were pumped with USDT 2. Then they were sold in BTC pair 3. These manipulations have been performed innumerable times with an impressive amount of USTD. As a result FOMO process was launched and market skyrocketed . Well, those who started all this have accumulated a lot of bitcoins. I think something similar we will see in the nearest future and it is better to be in some reliable Altcoins

Taking into account that BTC dominance on the market is more than 50%, it is bad for all market when BTC is dropping . Altcoins will drop along with BTC just because of the panic. Probably in the future the situation will change, but for now we have what we have )

Yeah, it mostly depends on the project team. In order to be listed on some normal exchange, the team should take care of this in advance. And the better the exchange, the more effort and money are needed to list a coin there.

Agree with idea of splitting your funds, but it would be better to form at least 3 groups: 1. For buying low-risk coins like BTC and ETH 2. For buying new coins like DACC. It is more risky, but possible profit is also higher 3. Some reserve in fiat/stable coins. For averaging if the price falls, to buy a new coin if something interesting appears. And if you have only $500 for crypto, you should left at least $200 as a reserve at the beginning. But it is my opinion and strategy. I don't want to impose.

I do not regret a bit that joins crypto-mania . I am not only excited about the technology itself, but I was able to get some profit and a lot of coins to hold ). But yes, I regret a little that I was not fully prepared for last bull run. And now I am trying not to do the same mistake.

It is possible that we will go even deeper, but I think we are already near to the bottom. And it is a really good time for buying coins, especially on the long-term. The main question is what coins to buy. What would be the next "BTC" and "ETH"?

I have rather a good feeling about next year. I don't think we will see the growth similar to one in 2017, but still, I think there will be an uptrend. Also, I think that buying and holding existing coins will be better in terms of risk and profit balance than participating in ICOs

Maybe not 99%, but many projects are either outright scammers or unable to support the work of their own project. But ultimately such coins/projects must die. But their place will not be empty for long ). Twice as many meaningless projects will take their place. That is why it is not so easy to find among them a project that has good potential and with a team that can realize this potential.

Great idea, but I don't understand how they plan to do that. They need to spend money on the organization of the development process, marketing, sales and this is even without stuff like rent of office and other matters. And money will be needed for all period of project existence. If ICO is risk-free, then they already have money for that. So, why do they need to do ICO in the first place?
|
|
|
We need to start by instilling a culture of a smart investor. Many people too lazy to study the project before investing in it. I think only 1 out of 10 read the white paper and only 1 out of 50 look on the teams profile. Most of the scam project can be detected by simply analyzing this information. We never get rid of scammers, they always are near to the money. But we can be more cautious and selective. And I think it will be a good start.

Part of my funds I am spending on some of the coins from top-10: ETH of course, BCHSV, ADA, XLM. Also I keep few coins from top-30: NEO and ONT. And am constantly looking for new coins which can give me a good profit, like NPXS and DACC.
