101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 29, 2020, 02:25:04 PM
Well, if you found your reason to investing on the project and can't find something wrong about the project at all after you researching about the project, then why are you still in doubt ?
Usually, doubt comes with something wrong we found and we need to take a look carefully through the project once again.
As long as you can afford to invest and lose, you should invest when you can.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emirex delist their token after unlocking it what a joke on: October 29, 2020, 02:05:59 PM
The timing of the unlocked token and delisting the token is very coincidence, or that was the plan from the beginning.
That is very unfair, what an awful exchange! I think we should never trust token that listed on unknown exchange easily.
I think better to join campaign that distribute the reward without locking the token or unlock it later.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 28, 2020, 05:20:15 AM
That is a classic trap i think. The hacker create some codes to set the smart contract on that address,
so that if there is any ETH coin sent there, it will immediately transfer to other address, which is on the hacker possession.
Just be careful when we find something too good to be true, it could be a trap.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Holders - What do you do with your BNB? on: October 28, 2020, 05:02:28 AM
There are many options yes, we can even not doing anything at all, just hold the BNB coin and we are good.
As we can see the price of BNB is very stable and currently high around $30+
When the project behind the coin is progressing very well, the price of the coin will rising too.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: October 27, 2020, 02:25:22 AM
If you look at the kucoin hacker address now, you will see the Ether has been moved to another address.
It is involved with tornado cash and i don't know what is tornado cash.
I guess the hacker still find a way to conceal their transactions by mixing or transfer into other address using 3rd party platform.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie thoughts about altcoin investments. on: October 27, 2020, 02:09:16 AM
Yeah and that's why most of new altcoin projects are not good or just wasting our time and money of course.
Newbie maybe better to buy some existing altcoins with established value in the market.
When we buy some good coins, there will be low possibility that we will lose the value of the coin, so it is safer.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't PayPal decided to use xrp than Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2020, 02:17:12 AM
The well known 3rd party company such as PayPal is better to using Bitcoin of course because bitcoin is the most well known cryptocurrency as well. If the company using XRP, i don't think people will follow to using XRP too. Bitcoin is already trusted by most people in crypto sphere,
and even the common people know about bitcoin.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining crypto on: October 26, 2020, 02:03:24 AM
This is of course requiring the basic knowledge of how mining works to know about it.
Mining crypto can be with several ways depends on the Proof that the coin use, for example proof of work, proof of stake, etc.
The most popular is proof of work coin, which is can be mined by using device what we call mining device : asics, gpus, cpus, fpgas, etc.
If you asked about how mining works, the mining device solve the mathematical problems with a certain algo, and found the best solution depends on the current target (difficulty of the coin)
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 24, 2020, 02:45:13 PM
There are several factors to make a coin worth to invest on, but for me the most important thing is the team.
How the team manage the project of the coin is the key to become a success coin.
A good team will have some good strategies to make their coin valuable in the market.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 24, 2020, 02:33:43 PM
I think it is EOS coin, you will only need some fraction of EOS to send your coin or any EOS tokens.
Not mention that the transaction speed is very fast, it will be worth to use it.
Another coin from my opinion is Tron. Tron blockchain have fast transaction speed and low fee too.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: October 23, 2020, 02:45:22 AM
Seems like there are many people in cryptocurrency doubting the ICO projects, look at this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263972.0
Not all ICOs are legit indeed, but not all ICOs are scam, there are some real project although only 1 or 2 projects at the moment.
The key is, never quickly decide to invest on project without proper due diligence or we will lose our money.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 23, 2020, 02:12:09 AM
I trust USDT, it has been long since USDT has been created and now used by most people in cryptocurrency as their stable coin.
When many people using USDT coin, i won't be afraid if the coin turn to a scam coin later because many people will take the case to the court.
This is the power of community, bitfinex can be sued if they are exit scamming many USDT users.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to fix gas fee and limit in metamask for some duration? on: October 22, 2020, 02:44:36 AM
Well, metamask already gives the user 3 different gas amount options, fast, faster, and fastest, why did you choose to put it manually ?
Have you tried to choose the 'fastest' gas fee ? We can compare the amount of gas fee on metamask with gastracker in etherscan website.
Till now, i have no problem in using metamask wallet to send eth or tokens.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 22, 2020, 02:25:54 AM
I don't think use cases only will affect the value of the coin. There are several coins which have more use cases than Ethereum too, but their price is not even close to Ethereum price. Other aspects such as marketing strategy, coin burning, project developments, etc will affecting the value of the coin as well. Bitcoin value is very high in the market because bitcoin has gained trust from all people even people outside crypto.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about marketcap / coinranking on: October 21, 2020, 04:20:34 AM
It is strange indeed. If HEX already have marketcap around $1,993,432,825, then it should be on the top rank.
But you can see the 'question mark button' on the right side of the rank position, it says the listing is not eligible for normal ranking.
I think it will need some additional verification regarding HEX marketcap amount. If it is verified, then it will be on the proper rank position.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 21, 2020, 03:26:15 AM
What do you expect in decentralized exchange ? Of course there are fraud tokens, because anyone can list there as long they have the address and can create liquidity there. We should became smarter already because there were many scam cases like that in the past.
To prevent getting scammed by fraud tokens in uniswap, we just need to double check the address of the token we want to trade.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins are there in DeFi? on: October 21, 2020, 03:07:00 AM
I see, because you provided the data, then we know DeFi projects are not only using Ethereum (WETH) as their main coin.
The fact that we already know bitcoin circulation in DeFi projects is huge, then most DeFi projects are not scam indeed.
but i think ethereum coin is still exist more than bitcoin in most DeFi projects because people usually trading erc20 tokens and need eth for gas.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 20, 2020, 08:43:04 AM
With your example, we know that from $1 to $3 is 300% price up and this is the time for sell to get the profit.
I don't know why people still holding if they find their coin price already multiplied 3x.
Even traders usually sells their coin when the price up only 10-30% already, we must learn how to know the time for hold or sell our coin.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Friendly reminder that over 250k bitcoin have free claimed. on: October 19, 2020, 03:11:50 AM
I think this is count as airdrop to bitcoin holder who has balance before 2020. Could you give more information about it ?
May i know what is the ratio of the airdrop ? We just need to sign message and not send any of btc, right ?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: October 19, 2020, 02:49:23 AM
It might be obvious scam for us, but not for them because other people may still lack knowledge about this.
Outside cryptocurrency for example in stock trading, there are many people who claiming expert in trading and they offers their trading service to the people who can't trading well.
