Why bother with that if there isn't going to be lots of donations on a daily basis.
No need for all that MtGox, verification and exchange rigmarole.
That's why I said easywallet.org and bitcoinmonitor.net, mtgox it only needed if you receive a lot of donations / want to cash out. Blockchain.info is ok but i'm not sure if it has payment notifications or not... ok it does, so i'll suggest this, thanks!

I asked offliberty.com to accept Bitcoin donations and they want to know which service to use... what should I suggest? So far I'm thinking: - easywallet.org and bitcoinmonitor.net combo until they've acquired sufficient BTC for a visit to mtgox.com

As title says... (I have previously used Intersango/Britcoin but don't really trust it atm)
I don't think there is any problem with trust regarding Intersango, but they did have bank issues which means that at the moment deposit or withdrawals are very delayed in GBP (USD/Euro are ok AFAIK). I have gone through Intersango and submitted a withdrawal request today, fingers crossed!

And despite the advice of several forum posters, you're still talking here... You really aren't doing yourself a favor with comments like these. Frankly I've got nothing invested in this but my opinion of you lowers every time you open your mouth. Take some friendly advice and stop talking. You're in deep here and you need to lawyer up and stfu. This ^ zhou, i personally believe you are innocent. You really need to "lawyer up and STFU" If Zhou was innocent, he certainly would "lawyer up and STFU", but he is not. I don't understand what you're basing the assumption of "he would only need a lawyer if he was innocent" of off. You would still want to lawyer up and STFU if you're guilty. Why? His plan is to pay back the money and then hope everyone pipes down (which they inevitably will). He can't do that behind closed doors.

The only evidence in my email account was a credit card fraud case of only a few hundred dollars, which isn't very significant compared to the Bitcoinica hack. Explain how you do credit card fraud using an email address??
|
|
|
I'm trying my best to calm down and attempt to get more information about the hacker, because he also used my email for a credit card fraud case. How can you perform credit card fraud by stealing someone's email account?? How can you even obtain a credit card if you're < 18??

Why we need two barcodes on a note? If we have one protected and one unprotected codes, I can see the reason: wee use unprotected "verify"-code to verify and protect a "spend"-code. But in all notes in this thread, we use both codes in unprotected way. Why can't we just use only one "spend"-code on this type of notes?
Yeah and isn't there a way to extract the bitcoin address from the private key anyway? So if you wanted to load the note with BTC you could scan the private key and get a program to tell you the address...

As to design, I'd like to point out more of a credit card sized option would be good for notes, we don't need much space, and people are used to that size, pockets in wallets can be used to keep seperate from regular cash or needing to fold them, and also we don't want to press any more reason to have it imitating a 'real currency' as competition even in looks.
How about it being "dollar" sized when freshly minted, but "credit card" sized when private key QR code is folded over?

Yes, SIPA is the format. However you cannot use the backup QR code when importing. You have to use the one from Settings-> Advanced -> Export. I am travelling right now, so I have to keep this brief.
I tried doing that and it didn't work. I'll try again and report back.
