I thought I might give the air pot thing a try. I would like to see the pot(s) first to make sure it is the real air pot and not the knock offs. I understood from what you wrote that you want .50 each for them. Anyhow, let me know if you still have them and how to contact you and we can go from there. Thanks. Rob
Here is an image of the same airpots I'm selling They are the original with the green "smart pot" tag. I purchased 100 direct for my own use so I can vouch they are the real deal. I was asking 1/2 a BTC originally, but the price has gone up now so I'm only asking .25 BTC each plus shipping. Private message me and we can go from there

Why has my payout been withheld?
"Unpaid reward : 1.82903769 BTC This is the reward you earned by contributing to the previous blocks. This amount will be paid to you when it reaches 1 BTC or after one week of inactivity, when the pool finds a block." Sometimes, the miners earning less than 1 BTC reach their minimum payout at the same time, which can result in a total should-be-paid over the 50 BTC available. When that happens, the pool prioritizes people who have been waiting longer, and leaves the rest to catchup in the next block(s). I see. That at least explains the weird behavior I've seen. I got the payment and a few others afterwards. Thanks for the reply

Clearly I have exceeded the payout threshhold, any my previous payouts worked before.

LOL. You thread crappers sure showed me. Got any more links for out-of-stock products and from no-name companies? 5870s have been shipped, 6990 up for grabs!

Why are you sighing? He's right. When they are in stock they can he had for close to $200 brand new.
And to top it off, those are the crappy non reference cards...
Because I can't delete posts in my Sale thread. Are you buying? At least have the decency to post a link to substantiate your false claim about availability

There isn't anything particularly special about XFX 5870s that justifies ~$350 is there? Is it just that they are hard to come by these days?
Sigh

Shutting down your mining operation?
Nope, just streamlining my operation and getting rid of some spare equipment. Need any?

Please feel free to critique. Thanks, Josh IMO 5850's are the best reference card, costing slightly over $100 dollars and yielding from 280 to 330 mhash/s. In comparison a $500-$600 dual GPU card fetching merely ~650-700mhash/s at stock speeds seems like a bad hardware investment. The only problem is availability, you would be hard pressed to find many in new or mint condition. However there are plenty of used ones on the open market. This comparison is meaningless without Mobo/Ram/CPU/PSU/Case/HD costs factored in. In my case (dual 5970 rigs) GPUs make up 65% of the cost of a mining rig. For 5850s hardware costs will be over 50%

Lots of good info/suggestions in here - thanks guys!
Yeah for 2 cards my 750W PSU isn't enough. I think I've found 2 PowerColor 6990's for sale that are lightly used, so I'm going to try and pick those up, along with a 1200 watt Corsair PSU. Is 1200 *too* much? I want to perhaps add a 3rd card in the future... (but I'd need to run Linux for that, when the time comes)
1200 corsair PSU is great. No such thing as too much capacity. That will allow you to run 3 cards in the future

bump for the seller because there are so many inconsiderate people who can't mind their own business.
If I feel the buyers could benefit from more information I'm going to say something whether you or the seller likes it or not. It's no more your business then it is mine but you're posting here. I'm going to remember that

Clearcoin has failed to release my money to me for weeks now. The seller released funds, the release date came and went, still nothing. No update to status page, still claiming I'll get my funds on the 25th if not held. It's the 26th My email was answered - "I'm on vacation in France, and will be checking email less frequently.".....great Any idea whats up? Anyone else having the same problem?

whaat? simply because a stock ubuntu OS isnt working (which has nothing to do with ubuntu btw) you end up selling your graphics cards? I hope you arnt this rash with every decision that you make I've been messing around with various sdk versions under linux and winxp to no avail. Do I focus on a few 6990s or worry about keeping a single universal drive image for my 16 5970/5870s. I hate thread crapping so much
