Nope, just streamlining my operation and getting rid of some spare equipment.  Need any?

There isn't anything particularly special about XFX 5870s that justifies ~$350 is there? Is it just that they are hard to come by these days?

Sigh

Why are you sighing? He's right. When they are in stock they can he had for close to $200 brand new.

And to top it off, those are the crappy non reference cards...

Because I can't delete posts in my Sale thread.  Are you buying?

At least have the decency to post a link to substantiate your false claim about availability

Done.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000048&IsNodeId=1&Description=5870&name=Desktop%20Graphics%20%2f%20Video%20Cards&Order=BESTMATCH

Not in stock, tigerdirect ran them for $219.99 after $10 rebate not too long ago.

And as you can see from my link below, they can still be purchased for sub $250 brand new.

It is not in stock as you can see so it would be for people who don't want to wait.  I personally wouldn't pay that much but it seems he sold the 5870's which are in stock in several places especially used, for a heck of a lot less the 48 BTC so if he can sell them good for him.  It's all supply and demand I can ask 100 BTC for a used piece of gum if I get it then great for me, if not oh well.

Names do not matter; however, if you insist...id...

LOL. You thread crappers sure showed me.  Got any more links for out-of-stock products and from no-name companies?

5870s have been shipped, 6990 up for grabs!

If the 6990 looked like the visiontek 6990 I'd be all over it, unfortunately I hate the stickers and shitty graphics that card manufacturers slap on always Roll Eyes
