101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kinds of exchanges do you think are trustworthy? on: June 02, 2015, 08:34:58 AM
Exchanges defeats the whole purpose of Bitcoin in my opinion , because most of people use Bitcoin because it's annonymous then exchanges come and ask you for your ID and passport and those kind of shit ... so yeah they are useless if you ask me .

So you'd rather choose those exchanges without verification?

Which are ? I never heard of Exchange that don't use any kind of Verifications , the most famous one and legit one like LocalBitcoins do use Verifications .
I personally don't use any Exchanges at all , when I want to trade , I simply post on a forum (here or another forum) and trade to the currency and rates that I want to . It's a better way if you ask me .

Maybe it's not exchange to some extent. I mean those websites where you can buy/sell BTC without registering. But it will cost much more fees.

What kinds of exchanges do you think are trustworthy? Good reputation? Professional R&D team? Get BitLicence? If you value the security, such as AML/KYC verification, What extent of  KYC process can you accept? Tongue

106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: May 27, 2015, 07:43:57 AM
This might sound a bit trivial, but I actually count them. I call them <The Coverted>
Up to date, I have counted 53 people converted to buying Bitcoin or owning some. My best period was when the price was just below $1000/BTC - Since then, a lot of people lost faith <About 13 people>
I do however find that the people who bought before the spike in price, was the people who held on the longest.
They are also more active and still buy BTC frequently.

53 converted!! You are awesome! Welcome to invite friends to trade on Bityes.com. You may have a chance to win our Big prize 0.3BTC!  Grin https://www.bityes.com?i=fHc1HbNBBB336yPzyi

Well, I know Bitcoin because my friend used to recommend me. So I would recommend Bitcoin to all of my friends, and maybe some of my family.

How are you going to recommend it to your friends and family? And could you share with us how did your friend recommend it to you?

Privacy.

Do you mean that you won't provide any of your personal information to an exchange?
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you value most when you choose a BTC exchange? on: May 15, 2015, 09:44:56 AM
I voted for Other. I choose OKCoin because they dont require too much personal information from us ← what I am looking for. Security is second.

Then you might like BitYes too! BitYes requires the same information as OKCoin does. Cellphone/Google authentication, ID card/Passport/Diver license verification and Address verfication(if you want to withdraw money). No verification if you just want withdraw Bitcoin. Welcome to visit BitYes.com and we are one of the TOP5 USD-exchanges now. We provide 7/24 customer service and one-to-one VIP service.  Moreover, we have low fees!  Tongue
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you value most when you choose a BTC exchange? on: May 14, 2015, 03:55:26 AM
Although security is mandatory, it is not a sufficient condition for me. The exchange would also need to make deposits and withdrawals easy through multiple channels, minimal verification, etc. What is the point of a secure exchange if you cannot get money in and out? The exchange certainly should not ask for more documents than a bank would. I get treated like royalty at my fiat banks (in spite of how much I hate them) - on the other hand I feel like BTC exchanges treat me like I am a 2-bit scammer.

lol. Don't you feel an exchange is more trustworthy if it contains KYC verification?  Tongue
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you value most when you choose a BTC exchange? on: May 14, 2015, 03:40:40 AM
Security.

I will still stay with an exchange with high fees as security is the main thing to be considered. There is no way of finding out if a new exchange is really secure.

May I know how do you choose an exchange by security since majority of exchanges claims that they are secure?
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Which do you value most when you choose a BTC exchange? on: May 13, 2015, 10:20:00 AM
Hi there, we(www.bityes.com) would like to do a survey regarding the priority selection when you choose a BTC exchange. Welcome to talk about all the options we put up here and others as well.  Wink
