The announced Zcash release date is just 18 days away and the community STILL does not have a GPU miner available. There have been some projects developing an open source miner, reports of a few private miners, and there is even a miner that is auctioning off hash from their rigs running their private miner.
With ETH's eventual transition to POS, there are A LOT of miners looking seriously at Zcash (me being one of them). I currently use Claymore's dual ETH/DCR miner and would definitely use a Zcash miner should he choose to release one. The 2% fee he charges would be no problem and I think a lot of others agree. It would ensure we get in the door early, reduce centralization (currently we have CPU miners pitted against privatized GPU mining software), and likely make Claymore beaucoup bucks.
Trying to get a gauge on how much of the mining community would use a Claymore Zcash miner for my own personal curiosity in addition to bringing it to Claymore's attention in the hopes to motivate him to begin work.
What do you all think?

What about Pools. Where can I start mining as Shadow Cash is based on scrypt algorithm. Can get good amounts of coins by mining. But where to start.
Anyone mining Shadow Cash coins.
Kiindly help to get pool url and more information about mining of Shadow Cash
Its POS only now. You need to buy on an exchange and stake if you want to "mine". Have been investing in Shadow for over two years and am extremely happy with the amount of effort put into it. There was an issue that seemed insurmountable about a year back when the de-anonymization exploit was discovered. The team came together and overcame it even with massive amounts of FUD being blasted at them. This says A LOT about the dedication and gumption behind Shadow. Have seen many many coins come and go, this one has survived - there is a reason for that. You'll see FUD posted in this thread frequently. Make no mistake, this is predominately the work of monero fan boys. Anonymous currencies are very promising but it is a zero sum game - the competition has and will come in here and try to knock this project down with falsehood. It is what it is - FUD, Shadow is for real.

People were in positions to spend what they were able to (I'm not one of them). "Looks good dev" as if I have any control over it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That premine gets you ~6x the amount of that top wallet. Don't think you're looking too shabby here. The premine covers the entire coin supply to swap everyone's coins. That's not one single person's premine. Ahh ok, thanks for the clarification. What about the ~360K coins remaining (difference between the premine and 21% of the prefork coin supply)?

int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64_t nFees) {
int64_t nSubsidy = 0;
[b]if (nHeight == 1) { nSubsidy = 2787115 * COIN;[/b] } Sweet move. So what we have here is a premine that will get one person >50% of the total supply. Brilliant.

NOTE: Pools should stop mining immediately. The swap is in progress and is expected to be complete by the end of the weekend. Thank you for your support over the past 2 years. Hi folks, ........................................ At the time of writing this there are 11,023,000 Neos in circulation approximately. 21% of 11,023,000 is 2,314,830. The new premine will cover the following: ................... Curious what this premine amount is. Interesting tack here by the dev team - reduce everyone's holdings by 81% and replenish the coffers with a brand new premine. Only great things to come.

Wonder if there will be a NEOS Classic exchange as well. NEOC sounds like a good ticker for the competing block chain.

seems to be huge develop ! Did buy some on bittrex hope did good choise!
likely not.

NEOS today-tomorrow will hit 40-50k on top ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Rly 50k ? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Ahaha dat funny ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Haha, let he dreams, and the reality will break his sweet dreams. 15-20K is possible. Its not a dream. There is not much NEOS after swap. 20K would be ~break even at current market price once your holdings are reduced by 79%. Not a good time to enter/hold IMO.

Dabbled in this coin only because it was SHA256. Figured some hash would get thrown at it when the bitcoin halving took place. Suppose that didn't happen? Was a good run and was profitable. Good luck with the POS and future of the coin.

So I understand this correctly. If I currently hold 1000 NEOS on an exhange, it'll be cut to 250 NEOS after this HF takes place?
It will be 210 Neos deuces. Good luck with this coin.

You chickens are STILL pecking each others eyes out. You should be embarassed. I've watched you do this for over 2 years. If there was more than 1 btc volume on this coin I'd sell just out of embarassment. There are so many other amazing teams who are really delivering and making an effort to communicate - effectively.
2 rules:
1: reasonable questions 2: respectful answers
Where is the interview?
Currently about 18 BTC worth of buy orders on Poloniex. Not a lot by historical statistics, but we are in another consolidation. I buy about a quarter of my SDC there, and buy most of my coins on Shapeshift. I noticed yesterday Shapeshift had upped the maximum buy on SDC to about 1.9 BTC. I bought half of that. When I went to buy more this morning, they were sold out again. Why would anyone in their right mind buy using shapeshift as opposed to an exchange?
