So I understand this correctly.  If I currently hold 1000 NEOS on an exhange, it'll be cut to 250 NEOS after this HF takes place?

It will be 210 Neos

deuces.

Good luck with this coin.

What went wrong?

Let's start with the fact that I personally bought nearly 300k Neos off of the public market when it was at it's all-time high.

Wow, dev you are brave, bought 300k when the price was 0.001+?? That's over 30 BTC, and you helped whales cashed out.   Shocked

It was around I think at the time 0.00036

Can't say I'm happy with NEOS going the way of so many other alt/shitcoins & dropping POW in favour of POS. I've enjoyed mining NEOS with p2pool & had great fun with the markets, but now that NEOS is going the same way as the majority of alts it looks like the end of my days with NEOS. Sad really.

Good choice of dev, bad choice of algo. I wish NEOS luck for the future - it was fun while it lasted.

Thanks a lot for the words and feedback.  We've received a lot of feedback over the years from folks and one of the recurring requests was to drop PoW in favor of PoS.  The countless times there were transactions stranded for hours because blocks weren't being found or hash on the network - I couldn't even begin to tell you.  All factors considered and feedback, is what lead us down this path.  The ideas we have for moving forward will make more difference I believe than the fact that we're switching over - but also be supported and enabled because of that switch.

Dabbled in this coin only because it was SHA256.  Figured some hash would get thrown at it when the bitcoin halving took place.  Suppose that didn't happen?  Was a good run and was profitable.  Good luck with the POS and future of the coin.

15-20K is possible. Its not a dream. There is not much NEOS after swap.

20K would be ~break even at current market price once your holdings are reduced by 79%.  Not a good time to enter/hold IMO.

I don't people will rush to buy before swap. However, the price will rise. Don't expect too much. 15-20k satoshis are reasonable.

Smiley You definitely want to keep your wallets as you'll need the private keys if you don't have your Neos on an exchange
