101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 09, 2024, 11:33:52 PM
In gambling can't promising with profitable or win exactly get risk by selling property, stop you bad ideas before becoming addict in gambling and for the future not only will sell property but also until selling house to play gamble. I have experienced with my neighbor sold all their property until his house after getting addict in gambling.

Those gamblers who did that thing already need immediate help.

They don't know what they are doing anymore. They can't think of a proper way how to deal with their gambling addiction.

If you know people who are in that situation, don't hesitate to lend them a help or told their families that something wrong is happening.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 11:30:02 PM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?

I feel you hehe. Annoying as it is but you just need to go with the flow until you hit that good winning. Just try to remember that by facing high risks, you have the chance to get high rewards but of course, the chances of winning are not the same when you compare it to facing low risks.

Don't stop. You really need to have the guts to bet high in order to achieve that decent win in return,
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 09, 2024, 11:26:54 PM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?

That's not making sense. No casino will freeze an account for irresponsible gambling.

In the first place, how can they even determine that there's irresponsible gambling that's happening on the way? Just because of continuous deposit and then all of those will lose? They are business. Continuous deposit from their users is an advantage. Why should they freeze an account because of that? If a casino will do that, they will just giving the reason for their customers to leave their platform.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: February 09, 2024, 11:22:59 PM
If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?

Your satisfaction, your own rules. There's no such thing as an exact amount of winnings before a gambler will retire from winnings.

Winning big can even make gamblers more eager to gamble since they already tasted that experience. Instead of retiring, winning big from gambling might even fuel the eagerness of that gambler to gamble more as they already experience that unique feeling of becoming a big winner. They want to repeat it over and over again.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 09, 2024, 11:20:07 PM
How do you guys manage to take a break in gambling? I’m not asking for advice but rather I’m just interested to know what you are doing on your own or if you really do a break.

Nothing really special but just forcing myself to do so. There's no choice but to force myself to take a break from gambling.

Look for other activities aside from gambling that can make you busy or focus on your day job and try to be productive there.

You can also consider hanging out with your families and friends and enjoy the upcoming weekend or holidays.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: February 07, 2024, 10:32:49 PM
If you're a gambler, the people sees you as a different entity and right within you, you're also a kind  of different personality which is also different from how the people picture you, when we are gambling, we should not make the people feels been disappointed in us from the way we are gambling, we have to take away our pride and be considerate in how we gamble and from where we do it, this is not because we are interested in enticing others, but we are being mindful of the consequences that might comes out through any of our actions whenever we are gambling.

It just makes sense that the personality will be different once a person gets involved in gambling.

For example, a person who is known to be calm and always relaxed can be expected to have a different behavior while playing gambling. The reason is simple, the environment in gambling is different from the usual environment they are used to. In the gambling world, it can affect the person's emotions and feelings, and ability to think properly, and the worst can bring stress.

It's not an alter ego exactly but a usual approach from a gambler in most cases.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably Fair- How Can You Know? on: February 07, 2024, 10:17:59 PM
So I've been playing a little bit of roulette on a couple different gambling sites online.  I've been throwing a few satoshis on playing Poker (Texas Hold'Em) here and there as well.  Mainly focusing on Roulette, how can I be sure that the site is provably fair? I've heard this term used before by gambling buddies on here, but I've near really learned how you can know or find out if a sites games are "provably fair"?

Honestly, I'm not the type of gambler who will go deep into confirming if anything is provably fair. Yes, there are lots of ways and methods around to verify the fair probability of every bet but how can I even know if everything is accurate if, in the first place, I'm not technical about it?

What I'm relying on is, how reputable the gambling site is. I will bet that a reputable gambling site won't shit their users and will cheat the provably fair system of their gambling site. It's hard to establish a good reputation. After all, there are lots of gamblers who are knowledgeable about the fair system, and if they find out that the site is trying to cheat their users, that will risk the reputation built by the site.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 10:07:10 PM
Have you ever sold a property to play gamble and afterwards finds it difficult to replace that same property again?

To the point that I would sell a property just to play gambling, that was a crazy thing to do.

I was able to sell several of my stuffs before and some part of the money went to gambling. But it doesn't mean I sold my stuff just for that. I just allocated some to gambling and still, a large portion of that money went into necessary things.

In the future, and by any chance, I can consider selling a property but obviously, not meant for gambling purposes.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 09:57:39 PM
So, I am confused after asking myself this question and answering it, does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?

Regardless of being rich or poor gamblers, they will still rely on their luck to win. The risks are just the same. It's just that rich gamblers can afford to spend big in gambling that's why they are capable of betting big. On the other hand, since poor gamblers only have a limited bankroll, they do not tend to risk a big amount per bet.

But since you mentioned poor gambler, what's your exact definition of it? Poor gambler and still doing gambling? How come they can do that?
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 07, 2024, 09:40:54 PM
Not a direct introduction but in my case, it was during a drinking session and some oldies around asked me why I'm was busy with my phone. I told them I was playing slots and one of these oldies began asking further questions about that. I did some basic explanation and the rest was history. Until now that person is now hooked on playing online gambling lol.

It's not my usual practice to introduce gambling to anyone regardless of age or if they are known to be a gambler before.

Not unless they ask me some gambling-related questions, that's the only time I will share some details about gambling.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are people still interested in bankroll investment ? on: February 02, 2024, 10:23:19 PM
The question is in the subject  Kiss I’m genuinely just curious if people are still interested in this because I believe it’s a good way to “HODL” your bitcoin.

Since when has the bankroll investment become a good way to HODL bitcoin?

I think only a few now are interested in bankroll investment since when that was quite popular before, it did not become a big thing as a whole. We can assume that it's not profitable even in the long run even if the house always wins. Most gambling sites nowadays are well capable of running the site operation without offering a bankroll investment,

Not unless the new gambling site offers a bankroll investment, the hype might be built, and maybe others will try to test the waters.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 02, 2024, 10:09:56 PM
It doesn't make sense. It's not about the benefit of online gambling but what you said is an obvious thing to do when someone does have a medical condition. Of course, make some adjustments. It's the same when you are ordering food or supplies and don't want to go to the market or shops.

I can't truly say that's a "health" benefit of online gambling. It's an advantage of playing online gambling but it shouldn't be generalized under the health benefits of online gambling as gambling is not healthy in the first place regardless of how responsible the person is.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 02, 2024, 09:59:30 PM
My answer will be a simple NO. The reasons are:

- Because I'm a gambler, I know to myself how to play game
- Not comfortable to share bankroll with others as I can do the managing by myself
- How good that user is or what's the Win/Loss stats in average

Anyways, the response might be different for those who are not really involved much in gambling.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Viewpoint of a fan gambling on: February 01, 2024, 05:38:43 PM
I want to find out if there are individuals like me. What percentage of the gamblers in Bitcointalk are wagering and not wagering to their dearest star player, club and team?

It's simple to just easily pick and select our favorite team to win. But as a gambler and sports bettors, we should maximize the potential profit we can get by supporting that team as much as possible. The betting options are not limited to only MONEYLINE and expect that if your favorite team has the upper edge, then odds provider will give them low odds.

As a bettor, and if you want to play gambling, then be wise to pick a bet. However, if you really love and want to show support for that team regardless of anything, then it's your call to freely bet as much as you want, at your own will, and enjoy the whole game.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your multi-bet (paroli) strategy? on: February 01, 2024, 05:27:25 PM
You don't need to have a long list of slips full of small odds to feel the decent multipliers.

If you are not that greedy you can take 3 parlay legs betslip playing around @2 - @3 odds or in between. Somehow, we can assume that the chances to win those 3 legs within that range of odds do have a good chance and not that we can say, it's a total risk.

I don't see the benefit of having a long list betslip with an odds of less than @1.3. It's more risky for me.
116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: January 31, 2024, 10:51:30 PM
Is there anyway to help this person? I have given some advice to start using small percentage of the whole salary and safe the rest but still couldn't, and I don't want to help him to hold his money for him, he is over 28 years old, not a underage.

You already did your best. If you want to continue helping him, seek assistance to his family or close friends. You can't single handly him right now and you need some backup. Don't give up. Regardless of the age, no one can withstand the wrath of doing gambling especially if already fall on the gambling trap.

I'm afraid that if help will be stop, that person will turned into worst. I know it's on the person itself to make some adjustment but in that situation, the person's mind is not properly working anymore since he already fall on gambling trap. Again, don't give up. Continue to help that person until the realization will come to him and as I mentioned, ask some assistance to your circle of friends.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: January 31, 2024, 10:40:38 PM
The valuable message that can be taken from my friend above is never take risks to gamble to pay off your debts, the pressure is very big, the chance is very small that you can pay off your debts, often you end up losing even more and losing your money. look for loans, sell your valuables or look for part-time work to pay off your debts, is a good way rather than playing the small money you have in gambling

That person is shit out of options. I know the feeling.

Desperation because no one helps him while being in the dark situation. Reading your story, I'm sure he tries his best to ask for loans from SEVERAL FRIENDS but none of those help him. I don't blame his friends though but because of that, that person becomes desperate.

You forgot to mention if that person is already a gambler? Or the gambling just started because he's out of option?
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: January 31, 2024, 10:26:34 PM
This incident caused  me to begin to wonder is there are any online casinos that actually celebrate their user's birthday by giving them such bonus on their birthday?
I am interested to know if there be any casino like that?

I see, the whole story just makes sense. The eligibility to have that bonus is possible because she is locally employed at that casino. I think most physical casinos do have birthday perks. Not just in casinos but also in other industries as well.

As per talking about online casinos with that perks, some sites also give birthday bonus but as far as I know, not it will reach over $100 or even $20 lol. The birthday bonus amount also depends on the user's account level which is obviously, the higher the level, the better the rewards.

Almost the entire online local casinos here in our country do have birthday bonuses. Not sure to some crypto-casinos.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe visiting a seer or spiritual house could make you win a game? on: January 31, 2024, 10:15:15 PM
Let us discuss and share your experience so that people could hear and learn from your  story in the quest for you to win a game that led you to doing or going that extra miles in such engagement.

There's no need for any discussion and others don't need to hear other's way of increasing their luck.

Technically, there's no connection between any lucky method and chances to win the game or increase luck. It's totally zero.

Let's just allow these gambler who always do some routine or believed in any things to increase their luck. If that was effective for them in the long-run, then good. There's no need for others to do the same. As for conclusion, find our own way of attracting that luck.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Gambling Practices Most People Ignore and Sleep on on: January 31, 2024, 10:05:32 PM
Responsible gambling practices start from within and can be established with the help of other people too. One must be mindful of everything that he wants to do in order to gain a good experience in gambling.

To better understand all those listed there, gamblers need to experience the worst situations first. From being always bankrupt, can't fight the temptation of doing gambling even currently on losing streak, always chasing losses non-stop and many more. Without these problems they will encounter in gambling, they won't know the true meaning of being a responsible gambler.

They won't understand things in gambling that easy if the road is always smooth until the worst come.

If the gambler able to survive that worst situation, chances to become a better and responsible gambler later on will surely happened.
