Why do people need to have the wallet app running to be staking their coins? Totally unnecessary if it is coded the right way.
Staking is NOT mining. If you coded the coin so that the staking is actually a part of mining / transaction validations, then just say so and explain it..
It is a proof of stake coin. As with most PoS coins, the staking is what creates the blockchain (you stake == you find a new block). So staking is actually like "mining". It is needed to secure the network and create the chain. That's why the wallet should be open. Looking forward to see this coin mature, I have bought a little.. Is it not safe to leave the coins on Cryptopia? If you reduce the interest on staking AND we need to have a computer running the program all day (which means breaking down fast!) it is not worth it, I will rather trust Cryptopia, but is there any reason I should not? Can I request a sound file to exchange the AWP /AWM magnum shot sound in CS 1,6, where it says "Eliiiiiiiiiiite coins!!" ? thanks for answering, if you do so... What is the problem with 1337 wallet?
Last six days can't be synced. I download latest known version (link from OP) also added all of add-nodes. My wallet just not connected to the network.
On the same computer few other wallets working well, and I have no problem with his synchronisation.
The latest version does not need nodes to be added. If you add old nodes (from some google doc for example), you might actually make things worse because the wallet will try to connect to nodes which are not online anymore. I suggest you to stop your wallet, delete the conf and also delete peers.dat and the restart it. The seed-nodes which are embedded in the latest version will do all the work and your wallet should connect just fine. |

Hi there... How much Elites do you need to stake (aprox). daily?
25,000,000 stakes roughly every 12 hours. at a guess i'd say 9,000,000-13,000,000 To be honest people can stake with a lot less then that. Even 5 million should stake at least daily but again the coins should be split into blocks of say 2 million to 4 million coins. You say 25 million is every 12 hours, so do you just stake twice a day with that amount? If so then you could be staking a lot more if you split your coins up into smaller blocks. 5 million coin blocks would give you 5 chances to stake daily which I think you will. There is a guide on this somewhere but I can't seem to find it on splitting blocks, I believe it was on the old thread as I posted it many times before. Maybe the dev has one on splitting blocks. pretty sure i told you how to do it with my old account (cryptohobo) before it got hacked, I've got mine set to 25,000,000 as i find that staking as many coins as possible at a time gives better results and yea currently only got 25000000 in my wallet had to do a sell and rebuy for tax purposes another 25000000 are on their way from cryptopia but the withdrawals been pending for the last 8 hours :/ this is the video on using the coin control features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAWSxWiZH1E |

A good coin in fact - I think so - that's only when the first time you run the purse, it's awful long to wait for the synchronization of the wallet just over 900,000 blocks))
To speed up the first sync, you can download the latest snapshot: https://github.com/xenonflux/1337/releases/This currently includes the blockchain until beginning of February. So you would just have to sync the last few days which is much faster. |

Staking on a Pi would be the best solution in terms of energy, some people do it. Regarding several wallets it depends on which ones I guess. The pi might run very slow with several wallet + you need to have enough storage. |

You say Cryptopia has come to life, you can make a deposit, everything is fine, but everything is not as you say. I made a transfer of coin 1337 from the CoinExchange to the of cryptopia. But there is still no money. It's been two days  . What to do? How to return money back? Have you checked the tx info you were given by coinexchange to make sure it is valid? If your coins show confirmations in the block explorer contact cryptopia support, if not, contact coinexchange support, it is not a problem with the coin, it is a problem with an exchange.
