I don't no about this pyramining and mining but still want to invest some what is minimum limit and what is minimum time for payout can you explain because i am just newbie in this field and want to in this field as investor and want to do some practically in future      REGARDS

If you read the FAQ you should find all the answers, anyway:

1) There is no minimum limit on deposits. However depositing less than 0.1 makes little sense. However everyone is free to deposit whatever they feel like.
2) The time for payout depends on several factors: a payout is generated every 0.1 BTC mined by your account. If you invest a big sum, you will receive payouts daily. If you invest less than 0.1 it will take a few months.
3) Currently the account will not be activated in realtime, I am installing a lot of infrastructure (you can see how long is the queue currently). However by the end of August the queue it should be empty. If you deposit now, chances are that your account will become active in ~ 3 weeks.
4) Complete payout time depends on many factors, the most important one is the bitcoin mining difficulty. However investing in pyramining should be less risky than buying your own devices because: a) in general it is cheaper (I say in general because in this period of ASIC transition, with all the producers that change prices daily, sometimes there may be better offers elsewhere) - b) as technology improoves, your borrowed hashing rate increases; at a little expense of smaller efficiency at the beginning, chances that you will profit investing in pyramining are higher than investing in your own equipment.

Keep in mind that despite all my efforts to keep things profitable and trying to manage everything at best, there are no warranties, so do not invest what you can't afford to lose.

There are third parties (like The Rock Trading) who offer a warranty on the deposits, links-pyramining and others who planned some initiatives, just read here in the thread or use google to find out.

Well :
Quote
my deposit from 2012-11-22 went online.
Posted : Today at 02:19:57 AM

It was a deposit made specifically for ASIC devices. They have been available only recently. For each of those "special" deposits there is a special treatment (an account with 50% of the deposit value, created as a referral, and financed by me) that will help depositors to breakeven faster and obtaining a better bonus. People who deposited specifically for ASIC technology were aware of a possible delay.

Are you saying that it can take 9 months to get your deposit active ?

Where did you read 9 months?Huh

Finally, my deposit from 2012-11-22 went online. I deposited 1.00001111 BTC and I have equivalent hashrate of 74.11 MH/s. When hashrate will grow to higher, decent number (on website it shows as "New infrastructure:   ~ 735.29 MH/BTC"). Thanks.

You will see the "equivalent hashrate" increase a lot in the next days. Wait that also the other accounts will be activated! The equivalent hashrate will keep increasing with time, each time a new deposit is made. The hashrate added to the pool was not 735.29MH/BTC but the quantity of MH/s added at the time of the deposit. The 735.29MH/BTC parameter is to take in consideration for deposits that happen now.

I already explained this a lot of times. At beginning it may seem discomfortable, but this helps keeping all the accounts efficient and up to date, because the infrastructure ages with time. You will see that in the next months you will get more hashing power than the current "new infrastructure".

@pyramining

block 250978 was found more than 20 hours ago with p2pool (actual block 251155)

there are no rewards from pyramining since
2013-08-07 15:25:13 UTC

I just checked, credit is there, next time the payout algorhythm will run, you'll see the rewards. For the rewards to be assigned, the mined coins need to become valid (120 confirmations), and then the payout processor needs to run. In can take ~24 hours more or less...

Of course, why only less than 0.8gh for 10 btc

Your hashing power will increase when also the other accounts will be activated, be patient...

The bug here is that your deposit is already active, when there are still people that deposited 9 Month ago waiting for their accounts to be activated.

It would not be funny if this had happened to even more accounts.

It may have happened accidentally, as I am doing it manually. I could have typed in a wrong ID. Only very small deposits were added out-of-order. I'll try to pay more attention.

at 4:30 there come 13 rewards
at 10:30 only 10 rewards

It should be fixed now. I created an account with a 10 BTC deposit under the first account you specified, to thank you for the bugreport.

Account label:    6e3mf4ck
something goes wrong with the rewards
i got rewards from 5 deposits, but i have 13 deposits in this account

I'm going to check what happened.

so I was curious, since the ASIC pre-order period is over, can we still deposit to accounts that took part in the ASIC deposits, or will all new deposits still be counted towards FPGA infrastructure?

All the deposits become ASIC deposits for default. It makes no more sense to add FPGA infrastructure at this point.

How about some miner pr0n  Smiley
The FPGA-Farm was awesome (cleanest setup I've seen so far).

Thanks!

Can't wait to see this one.

I will do it soon, like last time, view upon request. Instructions will come when it will be ready.

To everybody: please be a little more patient! Thanks! :-)

Would you mind telling us what the total Gh/s is of the brand new toys arrived today ?
I'm curious

A bit less than 200GH/s.

New batches are getting cheaper and cheaper! :-)

Any news?

Installing a new batch of hardware, arrived today!

in the last days the avr.  block generation is 7.7 Blocks per hour. normal is 6 blocks per hour.  the whole bitcoinnetwork makes 128% of blocks . so the 120% of the p2pool is not b etter than other pools

Excuse me, but how could you relate P2Pool performances with how many blocks the whole bitcoin network is it generating? The first is a number derived by "pool luck", the second depends on the total hashing power of the network.

To make it fair for everybody, just remove this sponsor and ref - thing and pay everybody 20 % or maybe more bonus

It's something I can work on, but probably it would make more sense to start it in a parallel project, since it would change radically how things are managed.
117  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: July 28, 2013, 09:50:16 PM
Wish I made a few more deposits sooner...

Changes are not effective, yet!
118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: July 28, 2013, 09:26:25 PM
I am thinking about improoving slightly the rules, to make pyramining more fair for everyone.

Now people tend to create an account with small deposits under a sponsor, and some other accounts under the first one with larger deposits. In this way, the effort of the sponsor, for advertising and getting referrals, leads to small advantages/rewards for him.

The change I am planning changes how bonuses are calculated. To get the full bonus, the account must contain two times the sum of the referral's active deposits, otherwise the bonus % is reduced proportionally. Also, accounts with no referrals will be linked to other random accounts.

These changes affect only new deposits. Past deposits are unchanged and will keep the same behaviour as before.

Comments are welcome.

Some new deposit with really small amounts ( < 0.01 BTC ) are going to be activated because they do not change almost anything in the mining scenario, and they are polluting the queued deposit database. Hope nobody will complain for this.

I increased the threshold to 0.1 BTC. I thought I posted it on the thread but it seems I forgot it. Sorry!

Can we see photo of your hardware?[/b]
I am curious that you really not lying about and have your own designed hardware or just simply running BFL other manufacturer devices.

I will make some pictures available in the near future as I did with FPGA equipment. And... BFL? Do you think I am so crazy, risking your funds with a such unreliable company? I should put a "BFL free" logo on the home page! :-)
