YEAH WE SHOULD GET THE GOVERNMENT TO SUBSIDIZE THE FOR POOR PEOPLE

A Bitcoin advertiser would just have to pay more than his gold ones, then he'd change his mind.

No way, this spits of a company with major cashflow problems
lol?

I'd bet 1000 Bitcoins that Avalon would win that contest. If I had them.

I used to heat my whole house with mining rigs this and last winter. I had at least one in every room and rest of them in the balcony. It actually got so warm every day that I had to open all the doors and windows for cooling the place down. Average temp during the winter is/was about -10C I think.
If I was generating that much heat, I'd probably figure out a way to heat my hot water with it too...lol.

Every dumping result in an equivalent pumping/buying! It takes awhile for the dumb bots to catch up and cancel their fake sell orders.

Avalon should be pricing their subsequent batch units at $5k, since they are proven to be able to deliver. They are selling themselves short on profit otherwise. While they are probably still making assloads of money being an all China based operation, people are willing to pay.

It's not dumping, it's either retarded SR sellers liquidating big chunks at a time at a time or retarded bots.

I really like #5 (not so much the testnet part) as their next "legitimate bullshit" excuse for more delays.

I would just be a little more patient. I wouldn't doubt if their systems are a little backed up at the moment from all the trading. 20 confirmations and I would start panicking a little, though.

I don't think there's a shortage, I just think the supply from newly mined ore has just equalized with the actual demand.

Don't bother trying to sell that kind of stuff here. The folks on this forum don't want to spend their coins, or they want it cheaper than it was even before the demand spiked.

If you say so. Sounds like you are more concerned about it being useful for institutional investors than for the common citizen. Great, wall street is less uncertain about Bitcoin now, but I need a license to sell a friend a few coins. The usefulness is overwhelming me!
The sliver lining is that if Bitcoin is useful for the institutional investors the price would need to be such that, if you own some now, you'll be able to relocate to a more bitcoin-friendly country in the future. Then nothing will have changed.

I'm just going to leave this here just in case he ever comes out in public to prove that I was right.
