101  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: April 13, 2014, 02:05:41 AM
Say something like a brand new laptop or something alike ?
That could work if the laptop is worth more than the loan. You'll have to be prepared to ship it to the lender or an escrow and you'll probably have to pay the shipping charges.
102  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: April 12, 2014, 07:41:07 PM
Looking for 3-5 BTC loan, 1-2 months depending what you can offer me. Able to offer collateral such as ID and passport etc whatever you need can be given.
I know I'm a new member but I will able to have extra income made from the loan.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
ID and passport are not collateral. Your collateral should be something that can be sold in case you default on the loan.
103  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.05 loan on: April 08, 2014, 06:58:21 PM
thats doesnt matter he can keep it see it as the payback
In that case, you should probably just sell the codes.
104  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.05 loan on: April 08, 2014, 06:49:54 PM
hey im looking for a 0.05 loan
as collateral i have 2 x itunes 10 EUR codes

my btc adress
1JV5afQLiQyAb6wYLd8s9XrSzz6YoSyvNA
Don't those codes have to be redeemed to verify the balance? The lender wouldn't be able to return them to you after they verify them and the loan is repaid.
105  Economy / Lending / Re: [Want to Lend] Bitcoin Short Term Loans. Nobody will be turned down! on: April 08, 2014, 02:50:18 AM
A past PM from Joey to another user:
I will do a show for you on skype. What you want? How much?
I'm sure he'll be more than willing to talk with you on skype. Cheesy

Really though, don't give him a loan. He gambles it away and already owes me a bitcoin.
Check your pm please!
I've responded.

SixFigures, did you have a skype call with him?

107  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .20 btc loan on: April 08, 2014, 02:05:56 AM
What would/could be used as collateral?
Digital items such as altcoins are typically used, but some lenders allow items to be shipped to them. If you have something like a phone, watch, gold or another expensive item, it might be acceptable. You'll want it to be worth about 120% of the loan.
108  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .20 btc loan on: April 08, 2014, 01:52:25 AM
Not a scammer! Just Googled "borrow bitcoins" and this site came up in the search.
If you can come up with collateral, I'd be happy to help you. Otherwise, you have no reputation to prove you're trustworthy.
109  Economy / Lending / Re: [Want to Lend] Bitcoin Short Term Loans. Nobody will be turned down! on: April 08, 2014, 01:46:43 AM
Hi, I would like a .08 loan please.
At least use an account that doesn't have a scammer tag attached to it.
Have you showered since the last time we've talked or are you going for a three year record? Cheesy
110  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for .20 btc loan on: April 08, 2014, 01:40:56 AM
Looking for .20 btc loan. Payback 4/15. Have no collateral though. If anyone can please help me. My btc address is 1ArpAgcUoUvxhMSdCRMWFJR17DDoZf6LJk
This is such a pathetic attempt. At least come up with a sob story and make a few posts beforehand. Scammers are getting lazy.
111  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .022 BTC loan, will payback Monday! on: April 06, 2014, 06:26:01 PM
I'm sorry, I doubt your loan will be returned. It appears that he had many accounts which he mostly used to gamble and collect from giveaways.

112  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 5 BTC loan. Expanding farm. Have collateral. on: April 06, 2014, 12:33:07 AM
I am looking to expand my farm and noticed there is a lending section here.

I want to buy some AntMiners (I have one and fell in love) and if there is someone who could loan me some BTC so I could buy some from ...

http://minersource.net/collections/frontpage/products/bitmain-s1-dual-blade-180gh-400w-asic-miner

^^^ They have them for a little over 1 BTC per unit.

Each machine will mine about half a BTC per month - so I am looking at a pay back rate of about 10 weeks tops.  Below is the calculator I used to get there. Correct me if I am wrong, please.

http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?h=200&p=500.00&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=6119726089.12815000&r=25.00000000&er=467.00200000&hc=0.00

I am willing to do daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or whatever payback method you want.

Obviously I would use the rigs to mine coins and pay you back with those. With an agreed upon interest rate.

__
__

I see people in other threads offering collateral.

I have a decent farm now - see my sig. Not huge but worth I would say at least 10 BTC.

I could catalog what I have to any interested lenders.

I will take 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 BTC loans and pay them back (I estimate) within 10 weeks (then whatever your interest rate is).

Thanks.

w00t!
So you're willing to ship your farm as collateral, pay the loan back with the profit from the new mining equipment and then repay the loan to get your old equipment back? Why not wait until you mine enough for new equipment so you don't have to pay interest and the shipping costs?

114  Economy / Lending / Re: Searching for a 1.5 BTC Loan. on: April 02, 2014, 12:49:51 AM
Please excuse my naivety but what would i use for collateral? Another form of cryptocurrency? Ive never asked for a loan for bitcoins before so im kind of new to the process.
You would typically offer another cryptocurrency or digital item because shipping a physical item can be costly. However, some lenders will accept something physical to be shipped to them, such as a phone, watch, gold, etc. Do you have anything to offer that is worth more than the amount to be loaned to you?
115  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request offering 650$ worth of collateral !! on: April 02, 2014, 12:43:25 AM
If you haven't already made a deal with Vod, I can possibly give you this loan. Which altcoin is it?
116  Economy / Lending / Re: [REQ] Requesting milli loan of 0.1 btc on: March 31, 2014, 05:32:59 PM
Collateral?  Like what? Sorry it's my first time taking out a loan.
You can provide an item such as altcoins to ensure the lender that they won't lose their money if you default. Digital items are usually the easiest. Do you have anything you can offer?
117  Economy / Lending / Re: [REQ] Requesting milli loan of 0.1 btc on: March 31, 2014, 04:55:53 AM
Hello guys, I'm here to request a loan of 0.1 btc which I will return by 1 or 2 weeks. Thank you in advance!
I can give you this loan if you can provide adequate collateral.
118  Economy / Services / Re: Gimme 10BTC, I'll tell you how to backup wallet.dat auto from usb key on: March 30, 2014, 01:40:04 AM
I didn't expect it but worth a try, I was told this site was scam central, I'm seeing how far I can push it, ie verify if I'm swimming with scammers...
There are definitely quite a few scammers on this forum, but there are also a lot of users who point out these scams to newbies and prevent anyone from getting ripped off. You're not going to be very successful here.
119  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $17 amazon gift card, want btc on: March 24, 2014, 08:24:30 AM
Selling $17 amazon gc, willing to go first.

Make me an offer.

Post or PM me

EDIT: I need this done now, PM me please
If you still have this, I'll offer you 0.025 btc for it. This is a United States code, correct?
120  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.1 loan on: March 18, 2014, 04:53:24 PM
As I mentioned before, I'm new here and therefore I don't possess any well known altcoins sadly.  What precentage of the whole loan shall the collateral cover? Also in the case that I provide a collateral I won't be able to pay back in two weeks.

I believe most people want a collateral worth 120% of the loan so that if you run with the BTC they sell your collateral and make their money back

Is this serious? Why would someone ask for a loan if he has 120% of the value of the loan he's asking already? It would sound logical if one would have to deposit a 20 or even 30% collateral to an escrow but 120%? Really?
If you only gave collateral worth 30% to the lender, you'd be much more likely to default on the loan. Think of it from the lender's point of view. If you're lending me 1 btc and I had no reputation and gave you 0.3 btc worth of ltc for collateral, why wouldn't I just run with your money? I'd still profit 0.7 btc. The extra 20% after that is to ensure that we can sell it easily and recover what we've lost if you default.
