101  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 18, 2016, 08:50:57 PM
it's not a very safe investment of money in my opinion, but can be probably profitable and high potential of profit IMO, You should not invest more money than you are ready to lose in bitcoins.

yes, bitcoin is risky, but if you scattered it around in different bitcoin investment, then I think it is safe enough...  Smiley
I think risk of investment bitcoin not as big as people think, if one day you buy bitcoin but the price of bitcoin to be down, you just need to be patient. believe bitcoin prices will rise soon

I think we just need to wait patiently for the price to rise again. The price will be over $1200 some time next year.

103  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 18, 2016, 08:31:37 AM
For the next few month, it is better to save the coins as the price will rise due to the block reward halving.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which takes more transaction fees-paypal or bitcoin? on: February 17, 2016, 08:43:26 AM
Paypal because it has a minimum fee of $0.35 when sending to an account that is not same with your country compared to $0.04 mining fee of bitcoin.

I thought paypay also charge you certain percentage fee if you are selling something to somebody else.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 17, 2016, 08:41:58 AM
Yes it is for sure, if you now invest in one bitcoin you will not regret it, the halving is also coming so if you long invest you will make profit for sure.
Its one of the best things you can do at the moment, long invest and be patient.

The block reward halving from 25 to 12.5 will reduce the daily supply from 3600 to 1800 bitcoins. So the price could rise.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 17, 2016, 08:40:45 AM
There's no point in selling them now unless badly needed since we're just few months away from the halving.

I think the price could rise due to halving, it will make the bitcoin scarce, so the price might rise in the short term.

108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 16, 2016, 09:52:28 AM
The main problem is the funding of the developers of bitcoin. If they are paid by third parties, they might be biased to that party.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which takes more transaction fees-paypal or bitcoin? on: February 16, 2016, 09:51:05 AM
When I sell on Ebay, depending on the value of the goods, Paypal can charge me up to 12% of the total revenue.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 16, 2016, 09:49:09 AM
I am not mining at a moment, I am trying to collect maximum number of bitcoins possible as saving it for future, as the price will pump after the halving so will sell my all coins after the halving.

If you are not mining, it is better to buy/collect bitcoins. You can save most of it and spend some of the coins. Spending can increase the value.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 16, 2016, 09:47:42 AM
I am actually not a good time, because we do not know when this rise will stop, perhaps after rising, bitcoin prices will come down quickly, so it is better to pay attention to price first
Most of time you don't know what will be the highest or lowest price. The price can change really fast and people keep predicting price but most of time people are far away from the so spectaculated price.

Yeah, its really difficult to predict the price of bitcoins, as nobody can be so sure that what value it will be holding in future, so we don't know what exact amount of bitcoins can take care of us in future.

I agree that it is difficult to predict the bitcoin price at a specific time point. But I think the price will rise in long term.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 15, 2016, 01:00:28 PM
you can see the increase in the end. its prove that invest or trading in bitcoin is very profitable

Trading bitcoin is not very profitable for most people. You have to be very professional. It is better to just hold it.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: February 15, 2016, 12:59:11 PM
The BTC price is now very low. The price is now very low and many people are very negative about it because it has now a low price. I think the people must have patience.
They just have to wait what will happen later. And then they are happy if they have profit later.

I think the price will rise gradually now. We will solve the problem of increasing the block size very soon.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 15, 2016, 12:57:16 PM
Well currently mining is not profitable. If you're mining that means you must not sell and hope for a price increase Wink

For me, the mining is not profitable. It is winter here. So I just mine to have some heat to make my house warmer.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 14, 2016, 10:02:25 AM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?
save it,of course you must save your coins in wllet, not for sell in this time, except you really need money, you can sell it some.

I have some fiat in banks. When I really need money I will use the bitcoin, and keep some fiats in the banks for emergency.

How about rather than finding the right answer from the thread title go try and check it for yourself.

Make some purchases today and if this thread still exist in the upcoming years come back here and state your output.
I've tried it dude, approximately 4 months ago on octber. I bought 1 BTC when prices are still stepping $ 312 and I sell them at the end of the year at a price of $ 500, very profitable

Two days ago, the Bitcoin price was $375. Today it is $390. So it is very profitable. But I do not know how long it will last.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 12, 2016, 12:50:14 PM
For today i think yes, it's a good time to invest on 1 or more bitcoins. Because as you can see the bitcoin price is stable now and i'm sure some day the price will increase again up to $450+

Price will cross $600 mark after the halving, so thinking about next 20 years its better that we concentrate in present, and if bitcoin is giving us profits in short term then we should sell it, as we know that ups and downs will always be a part of bitcoin.

The halving could make the price double as fewer bitcon will come to the market from the miners. This will support the price.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 12, 2016, 12:49:00 PM
After being all day in the digital deeps, a weary miner deserves to be able to spend its hard earned bitcoins. So go for it.

I think you should save them for a later moment.

The halving is also coming so you can not make more bitcoins.

You should hold them for sure, if you want to keep making profit.

I think as a miner we should save some and use some to cover our mining cost. So when the price drops, we do not lose all.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: February 11, 2016, 01:54:14 PM
The price is in fact now quite low and I think there is a change in.
Because I think it's going to be worth more later. But come back there later.

I noticed you have "hope for $500" in your personal text. I think your wish will be fulfilled very soon.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 11, 2016, 01:52:59 PM
I feel like it is... 1 BTC is around 400 USD today, its not a huge amount and i feel it can only go up

Yeah, we better save now while we can,  the price now is still a good price to buy, but after a few months, price might jump high...

Yes, but we are not sure how much bitcoins will take care of us at the time or retirement, even 1 btc would be sufficient or even 500 btc would not be sufficient, as we don't know what value bitcoin will hold  in future.

yup, we never knew what will happen.. just to make sure that we have something  for the future, better keep a few coins, as we all know, everyone is speculating that price might be high during halving..  Smiley

I think the price will be high before and during the halving. The price could be very high, then it will drop a bit.
