101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 01:04:05 PM
I don't know if this is right but if Giannis really wanted to be traded then that's the only way if they can get some good offer from the Lakers if the other teams cannot give them more players for Giannis and some good offers specifically for him. nevertheless, if the players wanted to get out from the team, the team like the 76ers would have nothing to do but accept their request since they might not want to play intensively anymore for that team.
So it was like GSW and now Lakers also wants to step in with this potential trade that Giannis might ask in the future? AD is the one that they can trade for him. I don't think that's a worth trade for them just as what everyone is saying. He's just gonna get more injury and he won't be usable if the trade is done. Now, what if the Bucks will offer Giannis something that he can't decline? Then, it's really on him that he wants an exit to the team and wants to try something new that will make him explore with many options and play as well with other teams. Speaking of Giannis, his brother Alex signed and waived by Bucks as well. (Bucks sign and waive Alex Antetokounmpo, brother of Giannis, in apparent plan to keep him on G League team

Yeah, it all on him to decide, if by chance Bucks let him go for sure there are many teams that will be interested and will try all the possible offers that they can provide to see if they can acquire his service.

While with the bucks, personally, you may not let your main alpha go without any valid reason or without any
try to keep him to stay, 2 years from now we will see what future will dictate for this issue, or maybe if by chance
it will be earlier if a problem happens or this rumor will continue to break relationship between Giannis and
the Bucks management.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to the crypto market now? on: September 04, 2023, 10:30:02 AM
As of this time, we're in an uncertain situation. Despite XRP and Grayscale win their respective lawsuits against the SEC, it's just a temporary gain and it will gradually lose momentum that leads for the market to go back to square one.

Before the Grayscale announcement, BTC is sitting around $25.9k and was pumping to $28k for a few days. However because of the postponement of other ones applying for Bitcoin Spot ETFs, the market was manipulated and goes back once again to $25.9k.

It would be a gain for those who have positioned themselves correctly whether long or short. There's nothing that could really hype up the crypto market just like what we have experienced for most of 2021.

As we are preparing for the BTC halving this coming 2024, there are no promises or guarantees whatsoever if it would be a catalyst for a future bull run of the market once again. Time will tell.

Only time can tell, more on how investors and traders will position their money while analyzing the market. It's difficult to say whether the direction will push forward and pump the market,

Or, it will stay this way and continue to play around and let the moving money to decide what direction
to move, better to work more on analyzing and anticipating by doing your research.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 04, 2023, 10:17:13 AM

Thanks for the update, it's weird that he is going to the US though to train and then goes to Japan for the fight. I thought they will do their camp in the Philippines since it's closest to Japan. But it could be true that they don't want to leave no stone unturned and probably will work out with several good sparring partners to prepare Tapales for another upset journey.

I think there are more great gyms in the US, and perhaps his trainers chose the place they believe would help Tapales improve for the biggest fight of his career. I can't imagine Tapales winning here, and I mean no disrespect, but his boxing skills are not on par with Inoue's. Therefore, it would be a shock to the world if he were to upset another champion.

I'm not sure what the strategy is, but let's find out in the actual fight. For now, he just has to ensure that he is 100% ready when facing the monster, and he isn't called the monster for nothing.

All will be witnessed in time of the fight, and like what you said, the winning chance for Tapales is really by far compared with the chance for Inoue. He's been known as the Monster, as we all witness the way he beats his opponents.

Preparations and more on mental awareness, Tapales needs to find that strategy to stay up and possibly
to end the fight close or if by fate wins it and earn they all the respects around this sport.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: September 04, 2023, 09:35:56 AM

I intend to punish those addicted to gambling who act against ethics, affecting society and even family members. They can do anything to gamble. They will steal or cheat to get money to gamble. They even kidnap and extort money. They stop at nothing to get money to gamble. I need really heavy legislation for people like that. Even their relatives punish them to prevent addicts like them from becoming criminals.

It is difficult what you are saying because the death penalty also doesn't keep people from killing others and get sentenced to death for murder.

I think if someone is willing to lose it all and even risk everything from someone else, including the health and wealth of others, they are probably so fucked up mentally that they need medical help and therapy at least in combination with legal consequences like jail or other punishments. The file isn't closed when you just send them to prison although that also helps sometimes.

Good point, not because there's strong punishment means those addicted people will stop. If the addiction already pollutes their minds,
it's hard to predict things that they can do.

I agree that more deep sanctions for people who are involved in addiction to be punished, they should
not be allowed to reason their addiction and justify what they've done. Better to send them to prisons or
rehab, since they are not doing anything right anymore.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 03, 2023, 10:17:24 PM
We all are more or less familiar with such situations due to recession and competition corruption, monetization has become a big problem these days. Also in a situation where the price of every thing is high due to inflation in the case of the country's economy as in the case of the country's economy, budgeting is done at a certain time interval to analyze the previous expenses and to create an outline of the possible income and expenses of the future just like in our personal life at the beginning of each month the current income is based on the expenses of the previous month. A budget should be prepared for the probable expenses of the month. And while budgeting focus should be on minimizing expenses and maximizing savings. Also it is better to invest along with savings investing in crypto will not affect inflation.

Focus on budgeting and managing your money movements, both incoming and outgoing, meaning to say your source of income vs. your expenses. You need to balance and make sure to adjust.

If possible, to find an additional source of income and make sure that big part of it will go to your savings
and not just for your extra expenses, that will help a lot in terms of your financial capabilities, it's tough
but always doable if you are keen on finding more source of potential income,.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: September 03, 2023, 09:58:04 PM
I see Bitcoin surpassing $30,000 but not immediately. There are too much noise on negative fundamentals making the direction of the market undecided. People will flow in with buy pressure once they understand the direction of the market, except for people buying Bitcoin as store of value, the institutions are actually enjoying the consolidtion as it gives them enough window to fill their bags.

Yeah, compared with those who are keeping on refilling their bags, the market still showing undecided directions, making it hard
for investors to throw their money inside.

Most of those day traders are having difficulty with how the market is moving, reaching $30K is still possible
and it's not that far to happen.

With the expectation of this upcoming halving, we may see more fall before the market will decide to pump
strongly and bring all that support to continue the rise.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 09:42:50 PM
Giannis is not that different and he thinks that it's much better that way rather than to be called as a star player with no history in the league. And indeed, duplicating what they did in the past couple of years will be hard to them because the league has improved along with its teams.

We certainly cannot blame him if he doesn't want to play as a hypocrite because in this industry, let's be real, you might be a superstar but you sure cannot make your name unforgettable to the people specially to the future generations if you don't have that much achievements and cannot win more rings along with the team of your choosing. The era today is already very different to the era that we've known and today, it's not that surprising anymore to see star players requesting a trade to get strong chances.

Not surprising at all, Star needs more stars to win a title, and Giannis just wanted to be practical, without the support he needs that
chance of winning another title is far from reality.

I like that opinion of being practical, if the managements can't give him the squad who can win a title then
better to find the place where the management will grant that request and risk that budget for the sake
of winning the title.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 09:03:27 AM
There is also a wild speculation on Giannis, him and Anthony Davis of LA Lakers for a 1:1 trade? I'm not sure though if the Lakers are going to make this trade, but for me this make sense. AD is already fragile and we all know that it was a cringe to watch him attempting to get rebounds or block shot as he might get injured once he lands down. This is just speculation though. Everything though depends on the performance of the Buck and Giannis, or maybe this is a sign that they might not be as good as the previous years as everyone for sure have heard about Giannis comments and it might have crack the relationship of the team right now.

If I were the General Manager of the Milwaukee Bucks, this trade would never happen even if Anthony Davis improves a lot from last season. As he is already known to be injury-prone, I would not invest in a player with a history of injuries like Anthony Davis. Giannis has had some injury issues in the past but they haven't been as like Anthony Davis is. I would consider accepting the trade if it included additional players like Austin Reaves not just Anthony Davis.

Correct! Why bother to trade your superstar with someone who is known to be an injury-prone player? that's make no sense at all.

Though on some side both are really playing great and the impact is not by far but investment wise, for me, I'll rather
add more money for Giannis' deal instead of letting him go.

Giannis is an all-around player and if he will play with someone who can meet his level of competitiveness, chance that
they may win another title is still possible.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 02, 2023, 11:44:18 PM

There should be an initiative from the government to make dams or any catch basin based on the geographical location that you're at.
It sounds easy to say but if that's not applicable to your area, maybe those that have been living there in those types of areas have some solution to think of and they just have to propose it if they're asked about it. There are experts that could get a plan out of that but if it's just a plan without execution, still nothing will happen and also depending if there's a budget allotted.

The construction of dam was most important key factor of the economy growth, because for the industries and the agriculture the water is important one.But for the dam,the very huge budget should be allotted by the government. It also choose the exact location for the dam.If the exact location was not find,it will affect the investment made by the government. The government should appoint the good committee for the dam construction before allocating of the funds to the project dam.Because food is the root cause for the economic development.

You are right,  there's an after effect for each projects  that the government will finance, if they mistakenly deal with the wrong companies they might waste money.

With the bad economy money is very important and not doing anything will waste the opportunity and instead  of making something helpful it will create  disaster or additional problem.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: September 02, 2023, 10:08:13 PM
       -   There are gambling sites almost everywhere in the world, both offline and online. The charity program makes casinos legal, especially in our nation. The popularity of playing casino games online increased throughout the pandemic. In our nation, mobile casino apps are practically everywhere.

The worst aspect is when exploitative casino owners employ influencers to advertise their gambling applications. It's practically impossible to stop; even rival casinos are capable of producing illicit activity; they make it seem legitimate, but it's not.
Yes, I often see many charitable programs being made legal "casinos" by the government to invite more people to participate. Those who make the show indirectly invite people to gamble, and the people who come to the event are not aware or aware that they are being invited to gamble. However, since there are many events in the "legal casino" they don't think they are playing gambling because the local government organizes the events. That obviously makes gambling bigger because people will return to such events under the pretense that they are participating in a fundraising event, even though it is gambling in disguise combined with many events.
One way to indirectly ask people to gamble, with such kind of activities, those who think that they are just helping or doing things
for the sake of charities will engage themselves in gambling.

By keep coming back, it will be an addition to the gambling industry, though just like you mentioned indirectly but
still related to gambling. Sooner or later, the appetite itself will seek for more.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 02, 2023, 09:48:14 PM
Signing Giannis to the Golden State Warriors will probably cost them a lot of good players. Wiggins, and maybe even Klay or Draymond. But if the Bucks are interested they could take CP3 which means a great deal of money that will be released to their salary cap and they get someone that will be worth the price, no disrespect to CP3.
But it all sums down to what the Bucks will need. Giannis is one of the top of the league so I don't think they are just going to let him go. I am more sure that he will make him the face of their franchise.
I've seen some rumors regarding Jrue Holiday trade too but the source is not that convincing so I think it's just a rumor that will die quickly.
Yes, that's what I'm seeing as well, if Klay don't play well in the upcoming season, then I think he will be in the trading block. And if Giannis shows intention of joining, then maybe throw in Wiggins + future draft picks.

Not sure about Draymond though, he is the bedrock of the Warriors so I don't see the management letting go of him. And he just sign a good contract, so he could be out of the equation.
Klay being on the trading block would be very weird, I am not saying that it's impossible but it will certainly be very weird. Think about what they have won with him and how much he has contributed, just because he has a single bad season doesn't mean that he should be traded, not even for Giannis because that may result with everyone else playing worse.

There are more things to care about in a team than just how good a player is, like for example how good others are because he is there. Klay may not make others better, but he is liked and even loved by his teammates. If Warriors ever to trade someone away, that should have been Draymond Green long long time ago, dude is terrible for many years now, but since he is loved so much, they still pay him a lot and keep him there.

And I read some interviews of the GSW owner says that he will not let go of Klay Thompson, not just yet. And I'm not really sure there are noises on the Curry X Giannis now, it's too early to speculate at this point.

For the owner of the Warriors though, they have built their championship runs through Curry, Thompson and Green and some other role players. So if ever one of them departed, they might have a hard time replicating their success stories though, just saying.

Th foundation that being established with the three stars brings that numbers of titles for the franchise. I agree that
separating or moving one of that element will surely affect the chemistry of the team.

I think the management will do everything to continue keeping them together and add some spice to help bringing
more titles if possible.

Personally, I don't think Milwaukee to just let go Giannis, so the duo of Curry and Giannis might still be far from reality.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 02, 2023, 09:27:41 PM
With how things are going, budgeting will not cut it alone. You literally have to get a second job if you want to live comfortably.

That's a brilliant idea, we need to get something doing, make an additional means of having income flow, there's a way we can get to whereby we will have enough money running, business flowing and things going well with our business and we won't have any reason to feel the cost of what we are spending in maintaining ourselves, business and other things we spent money on because we know that we will always recover any cost incurred on ourselves or business within a short period of time, unlike when we don't have a stable income and still struggles to make profits.

Yes, with how the economy is moving, we needed to have an additional way to earn money,

Having an 8hrs daily job might cover your needs, but most of the time you will see you out of budget before your next payday,
there are many factors that affect your finances, but having an additional source of income will cover your additional expenses and
will help you to save up if you are good at managing your finances.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: September 01, 2023, 05:43:12 PM

When someone copy trades he is copying someone else's trading exactly and applying it without doing his own research.  So he will never know the probability of success of his trade so if he trades with big amount without predicting anything then he will face loss.  So it is foolish to put complete trust in copy trading.  And those who do not have trading knowledge should not do copy trading. this can lead to huge financial losses without anyone knowing.

Exactly better to focus on doing your own research and study before taking this business,

It's easy just to follow someone's way of trading and this kind of feature is already available online, just completely copy
someone's interpretation of the market and wait if that assessment will bring you or will let you earn from this business,
chances of success are slim if you don't have your own understanding since there are changes that you may encounter along
the way, without proper knowledge, you are doing your trade the same way with gambling.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: September 01, 2023, 05:25:56 PM
well, this is what I mean that there will always be a way to continue gambling because of technological developments such as VPN or activating open DNS on a search engine or Google it will be very easy to access gambling from anywhere even if the country prohibits gambling everyone can still bet. with this technological development, the development of gambling will follow to take advantage of technological developments and expand their reach by placing advertisements on any social media to continue to develop their gambling to become bigger.
the number of online gambling has so far continued to increase and almost every day I find a new gambling site, although I'm not sure whether its a scam or not, for sure the gambling business has mushroomed almost everywhere.
Slot games are a big enough attraction for potential newcomers because I see every ad that is there, almost all of them advertise their site based on slot games. With increasingly advanced technology, it makes it easy for gamblers to access gambling sites, even though gambling is prohibited in their country.

I think the era of gambling business technology is getting more and more popular because it's easier to gain big income for the owners.  New sites are always popping up every day and are dominated by local gambling sites that are targeting users in their own country.

Correct, with the success of many gambling business additional investors to create their own gambling site continue to grow.

And with the help of the internet, where gamblers can easily access the website and can easily
play the game, both transactions from depositing and linking your financial institution's account
to your gambling account is also an easy process nowadays.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 01, 2023, 05:07:01 PM
Tapales was lucky enough to rid of Murodjon Akhmadaliev because the latter's camp hasn't had the idea to bring up a rematch clause before they draw and signed the contract of their fight. That gives me some though that perhaps it wasn't an honest mistake made by the team because they were the champion, and it was big hole that they didn't fill and so I think that they might've underestimated Tapales hence why there wasn't a rematch clause.

Perhaps they underestimated Tapales, assuming their fighter would easily defeat the challenger. However, the outcome was quite different—a closely contested match that ended in an upset. Now, Tapales holds the championship title and has an opportunity to prove himself against a terrifying opponent, a true warrior with a dominant track record. It's a big challenge for him as a boxer, but that's the nature of their profession. Boxers strive to face the best in order to become the best.

Strive to keep that hype and continue to stay at the top of the mountain,

Something that each fighter wanted to have during the peak of their careers. We are seeing that from how Inoue's trying
to unify another division and maybe, if still possible, to move to another division and try to duplicate the same achievements
that he got from the past division he went thru.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 01, 2023, 04:50:13 PM
and we will expect that Bucks will try keeping him, his demands will be workout to make sure that they will let Giannis feel that
they are willing to spend to keep him and let him continue to lead and stay as the main alpha of his team.

That is for sure because losing Giannis will definitely be a big loss for the franchise and they cannot get another Giannis-like in the league who can be the face of their team because he's just the only one. There might be some players who somehow work and play to be his replacement but not really Giannis who is almost a complete package that any team can ask for.

He's undoubtedly their best player, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Bucks face challenges without him. Giannis possesses a skill set that's comparable to that of LeBron James, and we've seen how teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers struggled after LeBron's departure. They underwent a rebuilding phase and, only recently, started to find success in the playoffs, though not to the extent of LeBron's era when they were consistently in the NBA Finals.

The Bucks are undoubtedly in a tough spot, but they still have one season to potentially change Giannis' mind, especially if the team manages to have an exceptional season.

One more season to be more competitive and try to win another title, the management can still do things that may add some decent role players or another star type of player who can work with Giannis and try winning the title together.

But if they will fail to do so, chances that they will suffer if Giannis decides to leave and find another team who can
give him that chance to win more titles in his career.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 01, 2023, 02:17:47 AM
usually we spend money according to our prestige, this is what makes us stressed. If we only have enough money for one month, but instead want to buy luxury goods, we end up borrowing money from other people or even banks that charge interest, which makes us stressed. learning not to be prestige is the best way to manage money, I totally agree with the first point.

And that's why majority of us are poor, because we don't have the discipline to control our finances. We just want to buy luxury things that if you have to look at it, it's all nothing and we even don't know if we are going to used it or not.

That's why the OP has laid down some tips. I know it's very difficult to really control ourselves not to spend and buy things around. And so it takes a lot of mental discipline to not over expense and save enough money for the rainy days.
Thats true, to show off the status we keep spending on luxury things which isn't really necessary for us. Even with the spending on food we can limit ourselves. If we start eating what is necessary for the good functioning of our body, huge sum of money could be saved. What we do, we eat for taste rather than health and body need. In each and every activity of us we spend a portion unwanted and when we were able to control ourselves change happens. Once we've experienced the difference, further we won't go for unwanted spending and have the discipline in it.

Precisely, if you realized things like that, you will start to develop on how to manage your finances,

Buying what you need and not what you want is something that needed to have a strong will to control, most of the time
when you already earning money, your expenses also increase as you think that it's already affordable since you are seeing
it from your hold money that you can pay for it, not realizing or thinking of saving, which would help you a lot in terms of
financial stability.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 31, 2023, 05:54:11 PM
Sometimes expenses are difficult to predict every month, even though we have detailed everything, there are always urgent needs that require us to incur additional costs
Perhaps the most important thing is to get into the habit of saving a fixed amount every month, so that we can have reserve funds when needed, and are always productive in seeking additional financial input, so that we can meet our main needs.
I have a breakdown of my exact expenses every month, I think I have to make sure to see how much I spend, and I also don't forget to always prepare extra money every month to be ready if there are urgent needs or sudden expenses. And from there I can set aside money to save and also I allocate and to invest.
I always differentiate money for saving and money for investing, why? yes it is a form of my preparation so that I don't have to sell my investment when something urgent happens in the future because I still have savings money ready for me to use.

This form of planning we must do, even though we never get into trouble but we don't know what will happen in the future, and when we don't prepare it will be a bigger problem.

Good plan like that needs to execute the right way. If you have such kind of discipline, the chance that you will not
overspent your money and chance to be more stable in the future or in your retirement is possible.

It's hard to budget, but with willingness and determination to have a good life in your future, you will be able to
established a good and balance money management.

More on how you plan and how you perform to avoid making a mistake in spending your money.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 31, 2023, 05:37:54 PM
I don't think Giannis would be happy joining LeBron. In my opinion, he doesn't seem to fit with the team anymore, and I doubt they can accommodate Giannis considering LeBron and Davis already receive hefty salaries. Additionally, having three big men in the starting lineup doesn't appear favorable; it seems a bit odd in my opinion Smiley

Perhaps if a player who wants to be traded doesn't vocalize their preferred team, fans would not speculate as much. This would be better for the NBA, as fans might become disappointed and potentially withdraw their support from the team due to such speculation.

If I'm not mistaken, all this speculation regarding Giannis' potential leaving the Bucks came about after he said: "Winning a championship comes first. I don't want to be 20 years on the same team and don't win another championship." If so, we shouldn't expect him to leave the Bucks in a hurry in the next couple of seasons.
However, I wouldn't rule out that the Lakers could be his next team if he decides not to extend his contract with the Bucks. LeBron will probably be retired by then, and Davis' contract will also expire.

Well, technically, Giannis has still two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks before he gets a spot in the free agency but by the way, I don't think that he will be in that agency because before his contract will expire, there will be a lot of teams that will offer him as getting him is indeed a big team for the team. Of course, with a few first round picks and players to trade to make that happen but the teams are still willing to do that just to get Giannis.

Yeah, different teams are surely willing to take that route just for the sake of offering it for Giannis,
we can't deny that Giannis' value is really high, especially if he will be added to a competitive squad.

Bringing him in will give the team a 2-way type of super-star with the height and skills both side
Giannis can provide decent numbers.

and we will expect that Bucks will try keeping him, his demands will be workout to make sure that they will let Giannis feel that
they are willing to spend to keep him and let him continue to lead and stay as the main alpha of his team.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 31, 2023, 09:04:41 AM
Many people are constantly doing copy trading and while doing this trading, they can understand themselves and gain good profit by adopting their own training strategies, but this happens to those who are interested in learning trading even though they are doing copy trading. But those whose intention is only to make some income by copy trading, they may be able to make some profit for a temporary period but cannot gain anything good. There are various types of paid channels where trading signals are provided which are very effective but spending time behind them and doing no research on your own will never lead to good trading knowledge.
Earning money is very easy for those who understand about trading. And those who do not understand trading will never make money. However, if you trade with signal from paid channel, you lose very less money.Trading has to be done immediately after receiving the signal in the channels, if trading is done later, there is a possibility of losing money.
However, without the knowledge of training, it is never possible to make a profit, especially those who are new can never acquire good skills about trading. But it is true that in order to make money a person must have a special knowledge of the market to be able to profit successfully. Moreover, there are many channels that give signals about trading, if you follow them, you can profit, but you have to follow them at the right time, otherwise it is not possible to make a profit. Trading must be done carefully or face losses. And I think that if you want to trade, you should do it with your own skills, but you can earn by trading at any moment.
I can't agree with you. without trading skill it is possible to get profit by following trading signal. in this case he/she only need to know how to buy and sell crypto. no required any others knowledge. but if anyone want to trade by there own strategy and own research the he need a high trading skill and previous good experience. But since we are talking about copy trading here, I don't think it requires any high trading skills

If leaning with copy trading and nothing else, if by luck he might earn if the trader that he's copying will perform, the problem is there's always high volatility.

If the trader he's copying change their position, the one who's copying who doesn't have any knowledge
will surely lose as they can't change in time, possibly that the position will be burned and losing the investment
is not by far.
