101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Different between limit and market price on: September 30, 2018, 02:33:24 PM

Geez, it took me 5x to re-read in order to comprehend with your concern

This took my attention

in this moment buy price limit 0.0009 btc , sell price limit 0.0007 btc

the website calculate the price of eos/btc for market price is 0.0008 btc

The heck why are you buying at the high price and sell at the low price??

Of course, the system will not allow you to buy at the price higher than the actual market price

If you do this, it will give you the market price instead, and this is same with the limit sell

102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: September 30, 2018, 12:27:23 AM
If we talk about XRP, ETN, then I think it was most likely an ordinary pump no more.  After all, the rest of the coins stand still and do not grow, so it is still very early to say that the bull market has begun!

No where to go but to go Bull

however, seems the bear isn't done yet

so as long as the bull don't break the confirmation and resistance

still has some chances to go dip

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: TRUCKCOIN PoW Mining on: September 30, 2018, 12:21:12 AM
This topic should be moved to mining Altcoin discussion instead

requested mods to move it
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: September 29, 2018, 02:57:15 AM
Why invest in altcoin when you can invest in real estate, stock market?
what kind of question is that? to make money probably. But it is worth considering that investing in altcoins is a risky business. Here you can earn BIG profit's, but you can also lose all invested funds. Consider this before investing. Projects of the future are being created here, but there are a lot of scammers, so if you are ready for risks, firstly you should carefully study the project. There are quite a few very good projects on the market that in the future in the long run can make the owners of their coins rich.

It is significant to consider Risk managements especially here in Crypto

There is a great fortune here with a huge risk

Volatility is a great advantage in crypto for a Trader compared to stocks

DYOR on a certain decent token will give you a big hit if you have in proper timings

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers for crypto on: September 28, 2018, 03:24:45 AM
Regulation's definitely going to hurt crypto in some ways, but I doubt it's going to completely kill crypto. The point someone made earlier about not all countries banning crypto's correct in my eyes, and there'll likely always be a way to transact and use cryptocurrency no matter how hard governments try to prevent it. We'll adapt to whatever is thrown at us, and with the talented programmers and loyal users of crypto in this world, it'll be difficult to completely eradicate crypto.

I'll call it an Adoption

Basically those regulations would make a major Shift unto Crypto World

It only means people in the government are now turning their heads on this financial disruptions

I see it in a more positive insight

We will see crypto currencies as legal in the world
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How whale traders catch those small fishes in the market on: September 27, 2018, 11:19:11 AM
I would suggest not to look on order books only

Try to look also the charts and do TA's

you would understand why those big pump and dump occurs as they are also in trendlines S&R

Learn to play with them, usually by riding their waves and market sentiments

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: September 27, 2018, 11:04:35 AM
It is hard to compare cryptocurrency to Fiat and it is hard to determine it`s value. It was said for Apple shares as well
that they are bubble when they reached $100 back in 2012 and now they are $217 and six years later the bubble still
has not burst. It is better to wait a few years to make a judgement for crypto if it is a bubble or not.

Market price on a certain company such as Apple is way different from BTC Crypto

When company owners got broke and way manage sh*ts on it, end of it, bubble bursts

You could only burst the BTC when people refuse using it, from which seems very unlikely to happen

we are talking about worldwide BTC usage here

As long as BTC are making transactions and moving, its value will remain high

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: September 27, 2018, 10:52:01 AM

Ease of use - for newbs, at glance you should know already what it means

Interface Agility - A laggy website is a Sh*tty ones

Low fees - Don't get too much for traders

High trading volumes - Don't want to trade with waiting game coz no one is buying or selling Cheesy

Security - its a must, at least show a little concern for traders

wide range of Coins selections - fewer coins is boring and will slipped opportunity on other Sh*tty coins out there

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: September 27, 2018, 10:37:55 AM
Once. I have earned particular tokens from a bounty, and decided to hold. Now, that token flops at almost 0. I wish I sell all of those.

Often times when I get caught in situation like you, I rather wait than sell at almost zero sats

I will just set my sell trigger on a reasonable price amount and leave it there and forget it for awhile Cheesy

Just in case a bull run, still your sell will be triggered

leaving it ready while unattended

110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many here started off paper or testnet trading? on: September 27, 2018, 12:44:52 AM
Testnet trading isn't very useful for tracking trades on shorter time frames.  There simply isn't much volume, and since the coins are easy to obtain people do not treat them with respect and will clear out large sections of the order book just for fun causing gigantic wicks.

I would say you should look at running back tests against real market data to obtain a better picture of performance on a strategy.  The testnet is great for developers to test functionality against though.

I must say I find the concept of the Bitmex test site pretty weird. Why it doesn't mirror the site's real trading I have no idea.

The other sites usually do follow real coins with no real money on the line. I can't remember which one, but one of them just mirrors all of Poloniex so you get all the corresponding movements to ruin yourself in safety.

It might be design in users side

solely purpose on its trading features look and feel

If its mirrored in actual price the newb users might get an early disappointments  Cheesy

Honestly, started in normal trading before jumping unto margin ones

I have to use testnet to simulate trading features in bitmex as it really has a big contribution when engaging with them in real trades

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: September 26, 2018, 02:21:16 PM
There is no guarantee that long-term bitcoin holdings can be profitable, the current conditions are certainly different from last year, the many negative news and scam projects certainly affect the development of crypto, especially bitcoin.

Dude, the current condition is not also a guarantee that BTC continues in a bear state

If you look up history itself BTC has numerous similar events and manage to still increase the price

Check the whole picture charts of at least 1D tf, see for yourself that BTC still in Bull market in Bearish trend
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: September 26, 2018, 01:57:37 PM
for myself trading is more recommended to be the best way, because we know that trading can now be an easy choice and can be done with lots of capital. so I think mining is harder than trading

If you're technically inclined person, its not actually hard

Its just that you can't control its profitability

The more miners popping around the more difficulty added and profitability decreases

Unlike trading where you control almost everything from buying timings and when to sell

The more traders the more possible income
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google ends cryptocurrency ad ban. on: September 26, 2018, 04:45:27 AM
According to the news in CNBC, Google terminates its comprehensive ban on crypto-money ads and plans to allow regulated exchanges in the United States and Japan to purchase ads. This new advertising policy will come into force by October.

Facebook also started allowing some types of cryptocurrency-related advertising back on its platform.

From what source I can read more about this information, please?

As I know, it was never blocked before by Google - the ads about crypto. Google and Facebook just were very picky about letting advertise the cryptocurrency by setting up plenty of requirements to pass to be eligible to purchase the ad space on their platforms. But now apparently they decided to make money anyways. It doesn't matter what to advertise if it brings them an income. Finally, Google realized it.

It was posted in page 2

So this is only for US and Japan with certain conditions, however its still a good news then.

This is the link for full article: Google ends cryptocurrency ad ban — but only for certain kinds of ads

They would only allow crypto exchange to buy ads

ICO's would probably denied from their platform
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google ends cryptocurrency ad ban. on: September 26, 2018, 01:55:10 AM
I find it funny how they banned all the scamming ICOs but they didn't ban the people who spam their "Get Rich Quick" programs on Google and Youtube.

There are hundreds of programs out there that promise to "make you rich quick by trading stocks" or "get rich with real estate", etc but in the end nobody actually makes any money off those and actually wastes their time and savings buying stocks or properties.

The only winners from those types of programs are the promoter and Google which makes money off the ads.

I guess they had enough data collected how huge this business are

how much profits passed and wasted during the ban

Starting October eh, lets see if this will push the BTC price at the last quarter
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin Trading on: September 26, 2018, 01:36:03 AM
Aside from risk which already stated by the members

It should also consider each margin trading platform features

One of the newbs confusion lies on the basic functions

It is recommended to use the test net tradings in order to familiarized yourself with those functions

here is one

116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bug and Implications It Carries on: September 25, 2018, 03:06:02 AM
The vulnerability of the cryptocurrency blockchain network can impact the value of the coin, especially if the said bug can be exploited.
The bitcoin's inflation bug could have large implications for the whole industry, not just bitcoin. Recently, dev teams went undercover with an issue a bug caused. In it, part of the blockchain system could have been shut down, allowing the attacker (if there were one) to create additional bitcoins outside of the market cap limits.
It is a red flag for development, meaning that teams should sit down and make decisions to get the crypto into the right track soon.

What is your opinion on it, what kind of consequences there could from this bug?
https://www.cryptocointrade.com

your question of consequences is already at the article you've been shared

qouted from https://www.coindesk.com/the-latest-bitcoin-bug-was-so-bad-developers-kept-its-full-details-a-secret/

"Even if the bug had been exploited to its full extent, the theoretical damage to stored funds would have been rolled back."

its as simple as that

Patches were already in place

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when altcoins stop following bitcoin price ? on: September 25, 2018, 01:59:26 AM
As we notice that almost all the altcoins follow the price of bitcoin . I'm just wondering when they will become independent and don't follow the bitcoin price?

Not all coin is following this trend. For example, ripple has pump that almost hit its all time high which left behind other coins. This is one of the example of some coins not following bitcoins path.

Dude, when ripple pumps, BTC pump as well

have you noticed?

and now BTC is dumping, and so with ripple

Agreed that not all Alts are following BTC paths, there are alts that would go pump hard especially the new ones

however the most common observation for all of these is that when BTC continues to go down, they will always follow later on

119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: September 24, 2018, 01:31:36 PM
Trading is only profitable in bullish market. These days coin keep on decreasing in value and all the people who trade are in a loss. On the other hand Minning gives you daily profit as you keep on mining daily

Dude, use margin trading

decreasing value will give you an equivalent profits as bullish ones

Mining profits also affected by price decrease

it would also decline your rewards value, not to mention the added difficulty each days

A lot of miners especially the home miners shutdown their mining rigs due to low profits and high electricity rates
