You sound like the guy who wanted to buy a used scrypt miner from me, but since it did not have a label on it he accused me of manufacturing a scrypt ASIC myself and then trying to pass it off as a name brand miner.

Like I could design or even copy and manufacture a scrypt ASIC and the sell it for $100.  LOL!   

To directly answer the OP question. Yes they are legit.
I have personally purchased and received equipment from them this year.
They have good communication, and send you a screenshot of your miner working before shipping.
They have their own produced user guides for each type of miner that they sell including detailed instructions and pictures.

Why do they have miners when the manufacturers are sold out, I would speculate that they are miners/resellers meaning that they are running the equipment but also selling the equipment.

So it is my opinion that you are buying proven equipment from a company that knows how to run it.

They also provide the warranty for each miner they sell.

I have been mining on this pool since the very beginning and found the 2,3 and 4th blocks, but never got them because I mined them straight to my Cryptsy account and well you know how that went. The Cryptsy customer service kept telling me they were going to fish them out for me, and then they started to have slow payouts and crashed and burned, so i guess I donated them to Big Vern or his ex wife.

On a positive note because of this I had stopped depositing any more coins into Cryptsy because I thought that it should not be that hard to "fish" some Litecoins out of a deposit wallet, and then started to withdraw my coins out of there and I had 95% of my coins out of there before the crash and burn.
A kind of a happy ending from my own mistake of mining to a exchange deposit address.

Hey guys who is to say what a fair markup, or a massive markup. I had to buy from a re-seller who already had them marked up and I got no bargain basement deal.

If you want to order them from Ali-express for $200-300 less and get them in 3 weeks go ahead. 

What I am actually trying to do is eliminate risk of a foreign order, and wait time for foreign shipping, and include pre-paid power and hosting service.
If someone buys one of these today I will point one of mine at the purchasers pool in 1 hour so there is no delay from purchase until the hosting documents are signed and a unit is set up in the QCBTCM hosting area at Colohub.

 Also doing the simple math from what I paid in BTC 4 weeks ago, and getting paid in BTC now My markup/profit is .15 BTC per unit. A little less after paying shipping.

If .15 BTC is a unfair markup or price gouging then I paid too much myself.

In that set up the wood wall was a plane between the input and exhaust sides so the air was forced thru the components and the hot air was exhausted with a 6500 CFM fan.

However I don"t roll like that anymore, I have learned a lot since then.

@ Westom.  Most ATX PSUs are designed with the specification of a typical load of about 50%. The 50% to 60% area is where you have the greatest efficiency and least stress. Also ATX PSUs are usually not designed for 24 HRS a day duty cycles.

Server PSUs are also designed with peak efficiency in the 50% to 60%, but can run higher with less decay in efficiency compared to a ATX psu, and are designed for a continuous duty cycle.  I do agree that at a 20% load or less you are placing more stress on a PSU and you have much lower efficiency.

I would like to point out that everything I am stating here is not "wild speculation justified be feelings - not facts"  It is actually based on facts. I have done extensive research and my statements about computer power supplies are based on the 80% certification and evaluation reports from Plug Load Solutions.

I measure and monitor the actual power consumption of test set ups, and then build multiples of the same set up over and over. I further have the ability to measure input feeds and per outlet power consumption.

This way I can run my equipment at the sweet spot (most efficient and lowest stress).

Since I treat mining as a business and power is my biggest expense, I monitor it closely. 
I also want to reduce the possibility of damage to equipment and down time, so maybe I do a little more research that the average person.

What is the total Amps of power you can receive through your electrical service?

You should not run a load including your other usage besides mining of more that 80% of the service capacity.

This will determine the amount of rigs you can run.

I have a few customers I sold mining equipment to that have flat fee power in the US (think boat slips or RV), but they could only run a few rigs besides there other power needs.

Your fixed power costs is a great benefit to you for mining. You should utilize it, but don't push the safe limits.

   

Not to scare you guys, but I have now switched to gold and platinum rated ATX PSUs, and Platinum rated Server PSUs for ASIC's and GPU rigs.

I also run them at load of 60% of the rated capacity.  This keeps things cool and quiet.

I usually like to use server PSUs for miners that require a heavy load. Since the L3 only requires about 400 Watts across 4 board connections, and 1 controller/fan connection a good rated ATX is fine.
I recommend a gold or platinum rated PSU running a load at 1/2 its capacity. so for a 400 Watt load a 850watt or higher PSU.  The EVGA Supernova G2 1000 gold rated PSU is actually Platinum certified.

Hello everyone,
I can verify that the Colohub facility is as nice as it sounds, and that the staff is professional.

I have had my KnC Titans, A4s and Gpu Rigs and my server there for over 6 months.

Searing and myself met with them last summer and toured the facility when we were buying some of the KnC Bankruptcy Estate Titans
and trying to figure out where we were going to put them.

The staff there is knowledgeable and helpful and experienced with cryptocurrency and miners. There staff is a wiz at building and setting up gpu rigs.   

Tim and the other staff members there were a great help to me in getting set up there.
 
Its also a great bonus for me that it is less than 2 miles from my front door!

Not to split hairs but if the resistance is below you its called support price or level. I know you know what you meant, but lets help the newbies to technical trading.


A support level is a level where the price tends to find support as it falls. This means the price is more likely to "bounce" off this level rather than break through it. However, once the price has breached this level, by an amount exceeding some noise, it is likely to continue falling until meeting another support level.

A resistance level is the opposite of a support level. It is where the price tends to find resistance as it rises. This means the price is more likely to "bounce" off this level rather than break through it. However, once the price has breached this level, by an amount exceeding some noise, it is likely to continue rising until meeting another resistance level.

When  a support level is breached it is likely to become resistance level, and vise versa.

Technical analysis is based on history and we do not have enough history on ZEC to actually do any valuable analysis yet.

The approximately  $53 or .0722 BTC level appears to be support at this time. Typically this level will need to be retested, maybe several times.

What is interesting is that we have a moving average cross over for the first time in ZEC existence on the 2HR charts.
It will be weeks, or even months before we will have usable data on the daily charts, unless you are just looking for the downward trend to continue, but this could be about as dangerous as pre selling ZEC tokens before it launched at $.09.

Until we have a longer price data time frame, and we reach full block reward the best gauge of price or value will be the ZEC mining profitability VS ETH mining profitability from a miners prospective, and at this point what else do we have.

I know the profitability does not absolutely dictate price, but it will raise and lower hashrate to keep ZEC profitability at a approximate parity to ETH profitability.

I believe that this will be the case near term until utilization, store of value, or something else takes over.
