101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Identifying Rewarding Crypto Earning opportunities on: March 14, 2024, 10:18:21 AM
There is a very huge potential of earning indirectly through the world of crypto because every project needs some marketing and you can do it for them if you have a traffic source.Airdrops have been in the game from a very long time it's not something new to be discovered. Actually people prefer to invest in something that is earned by easy means into the crypto market.
I have seen many people that go on with these short tricks and then they invest the money into crypto so that even if they lose it they don't have regrets. That's ok in my opinion but this also makes you effortless sometimes you just go in and invest but if you will invest your savings you'll be more calculative.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 14, 2024, 02:08:23 AM
"The real skill is not in making money, the real skill is in keeping it", this hit me really hard, for there are some meme coins I invested some small amount of money on, and right now, it's been a hard debate withing myself wether to take profit on them or not, I was hoping to leave them to run for a very long time hoping that the price will keep pumping, there about making me much more profit, but I guess I have to atleast, pull out the initial amount I invested and just allow the profit made to run for as long as the project is alive and booming.

Did you just use "meme coins" and "long time" in one sentence and say you wanted to hold them for the long term? Those two are contradictory words because meme coins are not to be held for long, they are for short-term gains and we should use them for the purpose they are for. You can't hold a meme coin for two years and expect it to grow in value in the next cycle like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it will most probably die off before the next season and will be replaced by another one of its kind.
Even if you are thinking to take out your initial investment and leave the profits for a long run, I would suggest that you take some profit with it so that you don't regret it in case something goes wrong.
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you had bought the previous ATH you're on profit on: March 14, 2024, 01:39:34 AM
Well, I'd say it should be motivation for people who are new to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and are about to make an entry, but people who are old and have been around for quite some time, shouldn't be buying at an ATH because they had better opportunities to do so, and if they didn't buy back then and are buying at an ATH, they are not doing things in the right way even if they may become profitable in the next bull run, it still isn't justifiable in my opinion.
So if a person that is old in the market and thinks of long term investments, they should have started buying in portions when the price was lower instead of doing it now as their profits would have been much higher in that case.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey! it's $50k today. on: March 13, 2024, 07:16:10 PM
If you look at recent market performance, it seems that predicting the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k is very possible. Moreover, the price of bitcoin is currently trading in the range of $72k-$73k. Investors who bought during the bearish season are now very happy because they have been able to get huge profits from the results of their efforts so far.

Bitcoin has surprised the whole market this time. Everyone, including myself, was expecting the price to drop back to the $40k region after it went above $50k before the halving was pretty far at that moment, some people were optimistic and hoping that it might go around the previous all-time high even before the halving but since that doesn't usually happen, we were expecting the opposite.
Despite all that, look at where it stands today, at a new all-time high that keeps getting higher each passing day and we are still about a month away from the halving event, I wonder what will be the highest price of Bitcoin by the time the halving occurs.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Save while young better than wait on: March 13, 2024, 06:49:51 PM
paxmao, what you say it is easier to say than to do. What is being young for you? For me it is period between 20-25 years. This is a period when you still study in the university and have a reckless life. By the time you get your first serious job, you can consider yourself to be old, as your life changes into home-work-home routine. I remember myself being 20-25 yo. Fire in the eyes and always no money. Even if I do freelance or part-time jobs, I was always short on money. Because of endless energy and fire in eyes, I have managed to do thousand tasks daily, spend all the money.

You are right that it is easier said than done, but I think it's all about being responsible, and there is no age limit for someone to become responsible. A person can become responsible even if they are 18 years old or maybe less, some might not become responsible even when they are in their 30s, so it's all about how a person is raised and what kind of situations and environments they've been living in.
Someone who has never seen hardships, always had everything taken care of by their parents and guardians, never had to worry about money or food or any other necessity, such people would barely become responsible at a young age. However, someone who haven't had any of the above will become mature and responsible before it's time.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: March 13, 2024, 06:36:46 PM
Technically bitcoin is not an investment at all.  I think it's important that people remember or understand that first and foremost bitcoin is a currency.  It's a digital currency, which is unlike any other we've seen before, and it's become an investment just like trading of fiat currencies, which is common place, but I think it's an important reminder that first and foremost it's a means of transferring money in a better way.

There are a lot of things that aren't investments in this world but are used as one. Do you think lands are for investments? No, they are to be bought and used for personal housing and stuff, but people use them as investments because they are volatile. So, anything in the world that can lose and gain value over time is considered an investment opportunity, so Bitcoin is no exception in this.
Gold is a precious metal that is used to make jewelry and other stuff, but it is used as an investment by a lot of people, they buy and store gold so that they can sell it when it becomes more valuable and it does. So it's not about what something is created for, it's about whether it has a stable value or its value keeps changing, and if it keeps changing, it eventually becomes an investment asset as along with its other use cases.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blackrock control BTC? on: March 13, 2024, 06:20:29 PM
A person or an organization holding a certain percentage of the total supply doesn't give them control over the cryptocurrency or its network, so even if Blackrock holds a large amount of Bitcoins, they wouldn't be able to control it, if you talk about the market manipulation, they might be able to do that if they move all their assets in the market and then use them to create buying or selling walls with them but that isn't going to happen because that is not what they are hoarding Bitcoins for.
So I don't find anything concerning in this. Maybe you heard about the 51% attack but that is done through mining and not by holding Bitcoins and that is a different thing and it is not easy for any firm to gain access to 51% or more mining power.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in a newly project is worth it or not ? on: March 13, 2024, 06:16:10 PM
I only believe in the first one for pepe with the addition of the alphabet I think I will stay away from it and not will find out

Well, you should also not believe the first piece because it is also not a very strong project but just a meme coin at the end of the day.  Grin However, you are right that it is the original meme coin and if another project is launched copying its name and trying to garner fame out of its success then one should never believe in it and think that it might gain the same level of success that the original did.
I'm never in the favor of people that invest in meme coins when they don't even have a strong community because meme coins completely depend on that, they pump only when the community hypes them up, without that, they would die off in a week.

110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 13, 2024, 01:58:51 AM
It seems bulls are busy with Bitcoin only. That's why Bitcoin keep breaking new All time high but most of top altcoins (except a few) Still straggling to cross even Half of their Ath price. So maybe altcoins season might come after btc halving. That's why many people still don't hesitate to collect altcoins. What is your opinion about this matter. Are you still buying anything or will think about it later after halving

The reason for the constant growth of Bitcoin is probably because people find more potential in it when compared to altcoins even if some of them are very famous and promising. People accumulate coins and tokens that they see are gaining traction which indicates that they are going to grow in the coming days, that is the reason why Bitcoin managed to cross its previous all-time high even before the halving event.

So talking about the altcoin season, it can start any time, before or after the halving event, as soon as investors start taking more interest in altcoins like they are taking in Bitcoin right now, we will see them going up more evidently.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: March 13, 2024, 01:01:59 AM
$25K in January was invested in Bitcoin, now with the price going up to $73K, how much more would it take to reach $200K over the course of a year?

No one knows that's the point. When investing in Bitcoin or any volatile asset, one should understand that there is no guarantee that they are going to get a certain percentage in returns after a specific period because the price is unstable and unpredictable, it's priced above $70k today, it can be above $100k in the next few months or be below $50k by then because we can't know which direction the market will move in and how people would react to certain events in the future because that is how the market moves.
So even though investments in Bitcoin can garner great profits in the long-run, one needs to understand that it can take any amount of time for that to happen which can be a week, a month, a year, or maybe more sometimes.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help trading. on: March 13, 2024, 12:56:26 AM
Since you have acquired knowledge about trading and you have saved some amount of money according to your ability for future trading in this case I would say you are much ahead. To start trading now you can start trading with a fraction of your full amount first in the areas you have researched and where you are interested in trading as a result of the research. As a result, if you experience losses, you will actually understand where your mistakes are and thus gradually correct your mistakes and you will be able to trade profitably at one time And in this case, even after you start trading, you keep learning more, keep learning more and be patient And start small.

A lot of new traders make this mistake, they get into trading and when they face losses in the initial days of their trading, they become disheartened and leave forever thinking that it isn't for them or whatever, whereas what they should be doing is to learn from their mistakes and improve over time which is how one can gain success in the long-run. It isn't easy but you need not to give up this easily.
Even people that are experts of the market and earning a lot of money from their trading activities were once newbies and even they had to face losses like us, but what they did is they kept analyzing their mistakes and improving the areas where they lacked knowledge and were making mistakes, and look where they are now.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit 1M ? on: March 12, 2024, 07:51:17 PM
We have a new all time high right now and for Bitcoin, I would not rule out a massive number of 1 Million but it will take much time for Bitcoin to possibly reach such high number.
People start to see Bitcoin like a digital gold and it is very good for Bitcoin, also to offer more functions like gold does because Bitcoin is digital gold.
Ethereum might also bring many benefits, where crypto as a whole is getting more attractive to investors.

Though what you said about Bitcoin is right, let's not compare Bitcoin with altcoins even ETH which is the second largest cryptocurrency in the market by popularity and trust.
What I believe in is that we shouldn't have unrealistic expectations about Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, and even if we know Bitcoin has got the potential to reach a very high price in the future, we can't be sure about it because Bitcoin is a volatile asset and it is a part of a market that is extremely unpredictable, so even if it manages to reach $500k in the next few years, we can't be sure whether it will make it farther or will drop significantly from there.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 12, 2024, 07:37:46 PM
I have been thinking about when to start selling my 2 bitcoins I purchased for $21,000 each average price during 2022 lows.

I keep hearing things like we could spike to 200K really quickly and stuff like that, maybe in just weeks.

My question is when will you guys start to sell if we have a major spike?

I used to think I wanted to sell at 100K, but this is rising so fast I have been thinking more like 150K to start selling.

How will you sell, slowly into a spike or wait for a set price and just dump.

I believe one shouldn't be asking others when it comes to such matters because everyone has their personal financial goals and targets and they can't be the same for all. I might have a different target in mind based on my personal goals and if I tell you that and make up your mind accordingly, you might miss your actual target, so I don't recommend such things because this should be your decision to make, see suggestions, but make sure you are not influenced by them and the final decision is yours.
There is only one thing I would say, don't keep waiting for too long and when there is a correction after the halving event and when you see it's going too deep, try to take profit because you never know, that might be the beginning of the bear run of the new season.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Hardship as a global problem on: March 12, 2024, 07:12:18 PM
Currently in the world today.hardship is every where, it is not just a country problem but a universal phenomenon that is occurring rapidly. It is clearly seen that people are literally not able to eat even a square meal for a day. Especially those in under developed countries.hardship which is now a global spread has taken its roots in the world today. We now seat and face our day to day survival with no hope of what would happen next. Sincerely I think this great problem can be resolved if nations could come together and create a universal solution to it

Do you think there have never been any propositions for a universal or global solution to hardships people face? A lot of people who are good leaders have tried their best to do that. Still, they couldn't eradicate the roots of the problem because it is not possible as long as people don't work on this themselves. As said by many others, a person shouldn't wait for governments to come together and solve such problems, you should try and remove the hardships from your life yourself.
If you think you are trying too hard on something but it still isn't working, try something else, and keep trying until you make it because that is how you can remove the hardships without being dependent on anyone else.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good or bad idea saving every penny on crypto stable coins on: March 12, 2024, 06:06:27 PM
Perhaps if you're interested in building interest or making profit, then investing is the best option than just save in fiat or stablecoins, you could look into Bitcoin that is volatile enough to yield some good profit after some time of holding, or even look at reputable atlcoin like ETH to invest in.

I wouldn't recommend investing money that is meant to be saved because a person should have different funds for both purposes. If one is willing to make investments, they should do it separately and shouldn't invest the money that they wish to save thinking that they will get some interest or profit if they do so because you never know the outcome of an investment and you don't want your savings to get locked in an investment and you have no access to them when you need them.
We often face emergencies in our lives and in those emergencies, we need funds and if we have all our money, the savings, invested in any industry, we might not be able to withdraw those funds in an emergency situation and that can be troublesome.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan says BTC price could drop after 2024 halving on: March 12, 2024, 06:00:37 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin's current situation? Will it retain ATHs after the halving? Or will there be a massive bloodbath in market prices? Do you think the halving is already priced in? What would you do? Sell or keep "hodling"? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

JP Morgan isn't a fortune teller or someone who knows the future, he is making assumptions and he is most probably doing that to spread FUD so that people start selling their holdings the market takes a plunge and he can fill his bag with low priced sats, that's what these so-called influential people do. So people shouldn't give much attention to such things, even if the market does that, we don't need to make it happen ourselves.
What I think about the current situation is that it's surprising, no doubt, but since this happened, I expect Bitcoin to at least touch $80k before the halving or before we see some correction but only if it manages to go above $75k.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin and access Bitcointalk freely without using a VPN? on: March 12, 2024, 05:43:04 PM
I heard that there were many atrocities committed by the Chinese government against its people who violated regulations. It seems, I'd better think about immediately moving to another country so I can access everything freely without worrying about the stupid regulations made by the government to limit its citizens from using the internet.

Moving out is not easy, especially if you are not a migrant and have been living there your whole life and so have your ancestors and older generations, you have your roots there and when that is the case, you won't be able to just moving to another country just because you are bothered by the regulations imposed by the government because there are many things one needs to consider before taking such a step and it's not an easy thing to do.
Besides, it's not just about a small group of people, a large part of the popular is bothered by all these things and I don't think they call can move to another country and start living a normal life just there.
So I believe the only option they have is to either wait for regulations to get removed or raise their voice if they think their rights are being violated.

120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: March 12, 2024, 11:21:24 AM
Since trading is purely an economic matter, you should give enough time to learn it. I strongly disagree that trading can be learned in a few weeks. You can get some basic idea of how trading works and how to do it in a few weeks or less. But if you want to trade and earn profit from here then you must invest a considerable amount of time here. To become a good trader you must first learn about this for a long time and if you are in the vicinity of a good experienced person you can earn profits from it in the future. Learning to trade is like watching others ride a bicycle for me. If you can't ride a bike and find it too easy to watch others ride a bike, it's just as if you're trying to do it and failing at first. You will find it harder and harder until you are able to make a profit from it. So along with gaining knowledge, try to apply it gradually on a small scale. At the end of the day, if you persevere, success will come.

On point!
A lot of people don't understand this and they think they can trade just because they know how to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and how to watch candles move up and down, but that isn't everything it takes to become a trader, there is a lot to learn for someone who newly ventures into the trading sphere and it isn't possible for anyone to become a completely efficient and good trader in such a short period.
I know that a lot of people are too bright and smart to grasp ideas very quickly, but still, it would make one better if they keep learning and practicing for a longer time before they start trading with real money.
